"And you are in no place to speak back to me."
She hissed before looking and Duff.
"You're the boy my mother is crazy in love with...Or, obsessed with I should say, She likes you better than me, her daughter."

Nena sighed but quickly went up stairs to lay Issac down and return. She knew better to make assumptions but she will be there if things get out of hand. Her tail was and was ready for anything.

Defiance hid behind his mother, regardless of how much his cheek hurt at the moment. Treachery gave him a sharp look, but she'd deal with him later.
"When I'm ready to succumb to authority, I'll give you a call. Until then, climb outta my a**, yeah?" She looked down at her first son. "I'll be speaking with you when we get home."
"And I care, why?" Defiance said, ignoring Treachery in favor of responding to Eternity. "It's not my fault. Maybe you suck."

Eternity simply rolled her eye's before standing up and crossing her arms.
"Maybe its because I tried to kill her baby."
She muttered before looking up at Treachery.
"And you. Do you like being mean to little kids? "

Defiance squinted at the girl. "Somethin' wrong with your eyes? They're gonna get stuck in your head," he said, completely unfazed by her previous statement. Then, he looked up at his mother. "I'm going back."
"Straight home," Treachery said dangerously. "Swear to god, Defiance, if you're not there-"
"I got it, woman!" Defiance snapped, earning himself a swift smack to the bottom as he ran from the tavern. Treacher sauntered over to the bar and reached for a beer which she opened on the counter.
"Mean. Pfft, that's mothering," she said flatly.

Eternity rolled her eye's and sighed.
"Well. Apparently my mother isn't a good mother then. No wonder so many people leave her. Good luck with trying to spank the kid, then end up with something snotty, crying, and you were probably bitten too."

Treachery sipped from the beer and pushed her loose hair from her face with a single, languid motion. "You know, your way of trying to get me to care about your mother is starting to bug me. I honestly don't care who left her.
"And he learns his lesson. Bright kid. Always knew that incubation did him good. S'not like I spank him all of the time, but I'm sure there's a few parents out there who'd be angry at their runaway, b*****d child too." She poured out the almost-full bottle of beer into the sink. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got some rule-enforcing to do."
Without a deft flick of the bird in Eternity's direction, she left the tavern.

"Care? I think not. I was trying to see if you..."
She looked back at Jarlaxle and shook her head.
"Maybe later."
She muttered before walking towards the door, grabbing her coat and walking outside.
