At least I wasn't the one that got yelled at. neutral But like, her mom threatened my friend. That's not cool. Are we allowed to complain about harassment? And I want to call this chick out at school, but I don't want to fight my friends battles (although this girl, and probably her mom, hate me too..).

Your friend could go to the school and explain the situation. Tell them what she said and that she seriously meant no harm by it. Then they deal with that girl overreacting and her mom.

My parents went to the school when I told them I seriously almost hit a girl when she said something extremely rude to me, she hasn't bothered me since.

I think for now she's going to let it go. If it happens again she'll take action. She's more bothered by the fact that she was victimized... by a parent.

Didn't your friend try telling the b***h-mom that she wasn't laughing at her b***h-daughter?

I think she wanted to but a mixture of shock and the fact that the mom just drove off as soon as she was done yelling stopped her.

Yeah, when you're caught off-guard like that, it's hard to formulate a decent response.

...Wait, the b***h-mom was in her car?

So we're getting ready for the parade, decorating and stuff. All the floats/cars are parked on the right side of the road and my friend happened to be putting streamers on the left side of the car. b***h-mom drives up (in her mini-van lolz), confirms that my friend is who she drove all the way across town for, and just yells at her. And there were other people with us too.. But yeah, she was just in her car and drove off as soon as she was done.

It feels like my ribs have decided they don't like me and are now attempting to crush all the organs they should be protecting, and my leg apparently thinks I'm far too heavy for it, so I can't climb the ladder back into bed (curse you, tiny room that requires a high up bed). This is wonderful. Really.

...also I am a lying liar who lies, and told my dad that I'm still awake because the police were outside... which they were, but that's not the problem.

Unfortunately I was at the back of the car and when I saw her pull up I didn't know who it was so I didn't pay attention. When I saw she was yelling at my friend I didn't know what to do because I couldn't hear exactly what she was saying, so I didn't know what happened until after she left. I wish I could have heard her so I could have walked up and been like "Um, excuse me ma'am, but I think you should leave. You're not wanted here"

I... don't really know myself...? If I did, I'd probably have better ways of dealing with it than complaining on the internet sweatdrop

I think I'm going crazy. I love my friends, I do. But they're nothing like Jon. And who did I talk to 90% of the time? Jon. They're trying to fill the gap he left but I'm going friggin crazy. They know absolutely nothing about the stuff Jon and I would talk about.

What if I was still crying about Jon? My heart was broken, they've never been in love. These two have NEVER been in a relationship like that. My first relationship in the 8th grade had more experience. What if I wanted to talk about some sex issue, I'm the most experienced! I feel like a big sister explaining the birds and the bees rather than a peer!

And I'm in college way earlier than I should be and another doesn't seem to have a clue what she's doing after high school. Jon and I were both out of high school knowing where we wanted to go. We were both at the same level relationship and sex wise. With Jon I had an equal.

Now I feel like an adult hanging out with kids.

Might depend on if she knows who I am or not. But I'm guessing if the other two that were there would have backed me up she would have just gone away. Thats really not okay for an adult to do. neutral

I'm glad I'm good at not making myself sound too obvious I feel a certain way sometimes. Okay, pretty much all the time.
And I love irony.... even though I'm prolly the only one who will see the irony in this. xD;

Now I feel like an adult hanging out with kids.
I feel like that ALLLLL of the time. D<

I have made lots of acquaintances, but no real friends, at college for this reason. They're all gossip-y and worried about going to parties and hanging out with all of their friends while getting an easy degree, and I'm just trying to keep my head above water with my crazy course load and working 40 hours a week. I still keep up with my high school friends, but it's really the same situation with them. I feel like I am 10 or more years older than all the people my age. It is so frustrating sometimes and makes me just avoid people under 30, usually.

I didn't want to say so in the thread in case people mocked me for it or something, but whenever I think about growing up, my thoughts read like Val's post in SD, word-for-word.

It's not worth it. I know suicide is inevitable for me, but I do have a few years until I have to pull it together and actually do it. I have five years, at most, to get up the guts. Because otherwise, I'm stuck in a worthless existence. Life is getting closer and closer to being absolutely empty, and there's nothing I can do to stop it.

Not like this.

Too weak.

Pull myself together. I need to pull myself together. But somewhere inside, I know I'll never manage it. I'll be trapped forever.

I can't say any of this. Not to you guys. It would be leeching, and that's both unfair and mock-worthy. I honestly don't know if I even care about the former. Have I tricked myself into thinking I care about others because everyone would always tell me I should? It seems far more likely, doesn't it, than spontaneously starting to give a s**t after years and years of never really being able to do so.

I can't tell the zCB how I feel if I need to use someone else's post as a springboard. If I'm too weak to speak up instead of waiting to see whether there'll be any "your views are bad and you should feel bad" backlash. Paranoid. I'm afraid of people's reactions to everything I do.

I can't tell you any of this. I can't say it out loud.

Fair? Nothin's fair.
Mock worthy? Even if it was, only Ashno would try.
