"Good, thank you," she smiled. "She really is sweet," Tora thought. "So, Tohru-chan, tell me what brought you here to our little Okiya," she asked, starting a conversation.

Tohru thought about her answer for a moment. Finally, despite how ridiculous it sounded, she decided on the truth.
She folded her hands in her lap and smiled. "The wind. It has been my dream for many years, despite my family's rejections. I packed up and just followed where the wind pushed me, and I ended up here." She smiled slightly. "What brought you here originally, Tora-sama?"

Tora smiled. "My Mother and Grandmother, God rest her soul, were gesha before me. From birth I was raised in their shadows and the arts. I was trained by my mother and came here as a maiko at thirteen. I really love this life though, it suits me," she said with a laugh. "I became a geisha at seventeen and I just tuned twenty on June 7th." Tora really felt comfortable with this girl- she saw a great future for this girl and herself in her eyes.

Tohru smiled, feeling very comfortable with Tora. It seemed they had more in common then she realized.
"My mother taught me about the arts. She pointed out geishas to me and told me how wonderful and graceful they were. My father didn't think so highly of them. He only cared about how much yen was in his pocket. My mother is the reason I'm here."

Tora smiled, this little girl sounded so much like herself. "Tohru-chan, I like you very much," she said. "You remind me so much of myself when I was little." Tora sighed. "My mother was a great geisha," she smiled.

Tohru did something she rarely did - blushed. "Tora-sama,...I... I am so honored to hear you say something like that. I... I am quite sure you are just as wonderful of a geisha as your mother if not more so."
She blushed a little more and then started eating her soup. 'I hope I did not overstep myself...'

"Tohru-chan, I do believe you are ready to become a maiko. You have shown me grace, beauty, and obedience. And, I'd like to take you on as my imouto-chan!" Tora hugged Tohru and had a wide smile on her face.

Tohru's eyes widened and blushed deeper as Tora hugged her. I...I'm a maiko...and...I...I'm Tora-sama's little sister...
Torhu allowed her softer side to come out as tears formed in her eyes. She hugged back Tora tightly.
"I was hoping when I became maiko you'd be my onee-san. I will make you proud!"

"Oh Tohru-chan, I know you will!" Tora said with a big smile on her face. She gave her newest little sister a hug. "As a maiko, you are a rank up. You have to take two classes now and start your training immediatly," she instructed. She gave Tohru another hug and smile. "And soon, you'll be ready to go to the tea house. After you've had a few lessons, I'll take you out and get you a new kimono," Tora smiled.

Tohru nodded smiling happily. Her dream was one step closer. She was a maiko to, perhaps, one of the best examples of a geisha she had ever seen.
"I'll go get ready for class right now!" Tohru said happily. She got up, bowed, and then hugged Tora again before running to her room excited.
See Mother, I'm already a maiko! I'll be a geisha soon!

Moni looked at rune guilt in her head....Her eyes started to gleam..... "Oh FINE! I won't drink any more saké.....Well maybe just one more teeny tiny sip.." moni said she took the rest of the bottle in one sip. She slapped her forehead a little drunk. "Guh *hic* well at least i know i picked a good sake! Mmmm yummy!" moni said quietly looking at the door..... "Hmmm man i'm starving although i hope omny isn't still down there!!!" guh... I really don't want to deal with her after the whole 'doorbell' insident!" moni said a swet drop trippling down the back of her head.... "Well i'm goin got have to com eou tsooner or later!" moni said she slowly put her nightgown on and went downstairs slowly on gaurd adn on the look out for any suspicious looking omny's!

Moni hopped the last step on the ground staircase...she snuck into the kitchen and warmed up a bowl of missou soup.... It took a little while but eventually she got it just right! It was a cold night. Some hot soup probably wouldn't be the worst thing for her! Moni picked up her chopsticks and ate all of the to-fu chunks before she picked up the bowl and tipped it abve her mouth a little sipping it.... "mmm YUMMEH!" she squeeled.. "This is great soup!" moni smiled sipping more out of hte bowl.

She whipped her mouth with a napkin and realized that she had just drunk the whole bowl! She got up sliding a little since she was wearing new tabi sock and walked into the part of the kitchen where all of the sinks and dishes are. She picked a sponge up and started to lightly wash and scrub the bowl getting all of hte soup out of it. Moni dryed the bowl and disposed of her chopsticks since they were the break apart kind.
