Now, if only my one friend would talk to me a little more, maybe I could help them out...(said friend is feeling super tense because of school and probably some other unnamed things right now) Not good.. no mental breakdowns! And that's... not good.. poor friend Yeah....but thankfully, I managed to barely avoid it and finish the paper! I'm not too happy he's feeling like that and am glad than when he comes back to here, I can hang out with him and help him just not worry about stuff. 3nodding That's good, on both accounts ^w^ Yep! Though I have to have a talk with him... Talking.. does usually happen when you hang out... Or so I thought No, I mean as in "There are things that must be sorted out and can only be done so in person cuz otherwise you'd run and not answer" kind of talk. Because it is necessary. Very necessary.

Mister Monster Guy Amu Tsukiyomi-sama Mister Monster Guy Ugh, I'm so mad right now. My professor gave the huge group project that we worked all semester on a D+. On top of that, I got no points for being one of the people to stand in front of the class and present on it. I could have NOT COME TO CLASS and gotten the same score. And why did I not get any points? Because I sounded "flustered." Not only that, this class is a major requirement, so we all HAVE to pass. All 12 of us in this group, and we might all fail because of his idiotic scoring procedures. Yeah, I'm mad. What. Is this a speech class? I can understand the bit about sounding flustered if it is a speech class, but otherwise....no. Just no. Nope, just a presentation for one of my nutrition classes. And he never told us that the way we presented would be graded, or how we would be graded. I was under the impression that the power point itself was what he wanted to see. He didn't give us a rubric to follow, just some "guidelines" at the beginning of the semester. Everyone in our group is going to talk to our academic adviser tomorrow and complain about him, cause this is ridiculous. Oh, and he said he wouldn't talk with any of the students about their grade until after this week is over. We have to wait until finals week to even talk about it with him. He's causing everyone so much stress, I don't even. .................¬.¬ Really? That is the stupidest thing I've heard in a while. I hope the class' evaluations of him get him fired. Pulling stunts like that is NOT cool.

He also openly admits to not knowing anything about nutrition (He eats Fruity Pebbles for breakfast and admits to eating way too much chocolate for crying out loud), so us nutrition majors are at a big disadvantage. See, the class has three types of majors taking the course: Kinesiology, Fitness, and Nutrition. And the course is clearly geared more towards kinesiology, so there's another wall. The odds are not in my favor here.

The odds are not in my favor here. Put all of that into the evaluation. Convince others to do so as well. I'm positive your group would easily agree. Go to the dean of whatever is above him (with others to back you up of course) and talk to them. A class last semester I was in got a teacher fired for being bad at his job. He tied in things that made no sense, wasn't teaching what the course description described and randomly switched a couple of videos out, replacing them with rather graphic ones, with not much warning at all and he gave us three papers to do just because we all had to miss a clas due to a watermain break. Many of us gave him terrible reviews and when looking through the history classes for this semester, his name was nowhere to be found. I believe the odds are in your favor, but it takes a bit more effort, is all.

and if i do put it up what items would you want as prizes ....well, since the guild has suddenly become really empty, you'd first have to get people back in here, since as I recall there are some people who are only in guild (?). As for the prizes....I've no clue. Prolly just do what you did the last time. That seemed to work really well, I think.

I also don't think rainy pouncing on everything instantly would be a good solution to handling fighting or drama. If [people were never allowed to work things out and were just told to be quiet and such, the amount of unspoken anger would be enormous and then everything would feel tense and unfun.
