Because she is a strong, independent black woman and she don't need no man? Fen...have you ever played a game called Far Cry 3? It's about this guy who gets kidnapped by modern day pirates along with his friends, the guy escapes and gets rescued by this local tribe that have their entire culture basically based on being a warrior, and they give the main guy a mystical tattoo that basically grants him the skills of a freaking U.S Marine in order to save your friends. I think you would like it cause it has this heavy island, jungle tribal feel to it. And I really couldn't help drawing comparisons to the Wendigo and the games enviroment. If you have a 360 of PS3, I really reccomend it.

It seemed very interesting but also seemed like one of those games that wouldn't have a lot of replay value, so I'm really looking for an opportunity to rent the game rather than buy it. Also it looks like its going to have one of those ridiculous mind twists where the evil guy is yourself or some split personality, or something like that. We shall see. I might just watch a playthrough of it on youtube instead.

I won't spoil anything for ya, but I can tell you that the longer the main character stays on the island, the more and more he becomes more callous to his friends. What had started out as fear for taking another mans life.....begins to take shape into an attitude where he is actually enjoying all the dangerous stuff he is put through. You can really see the contrast to this when you actually go on the missions to save his friends..he seems to be having a great time while his friends are quite understandably very afraid and panicking. Kinda reminds of Black Lagoon to draw another comparison.
