Yeah the house spider (I didn't realise they were actually GIANT house spiders) is the type we get around here... they run across the room at night. The gross bastards! I have to find and kill them or I can't sleep.
The black and white (CUTE!) one is only small. 5mm tops! So much fun too. They're known to be "curious" as they won't run away from your hand, rather turn and look at it!

heh the only spider I can't handle is the Wolf spider, looks like and gets as large as a trancula but twice as mean..
