Sorry, but Chicago is 10 hours away from me. Paducah is about 4 hours away from me & I could probably make it.
I live in central Arkansas. Every anime convention is in a state other than mine & most of the closest ones are at least an all-day drive. Compared to that, 5 hours is a drop in the bucket.
Edited to add: Darnit, Verizon? Good thing I don't use many minutes since most of my friends have Cingular. Actually, do I call anyone who doesn't have Cingular? Really, it's not so bad.

I don't text. Why take technology backwards? I don't mind using minutes, but I understand if you do. I can't find a ringtone version of the song I want.
Aside from that, OMG!con does take place in the summer.

Chicago is I dunno probably the same time or pretty much near the same time away from me as my girl friend so I'm going to have to say that it's about 29 hours away from me.... xd Yes, now who do you pity!? scream Ahem.... >>;;
Plus I don't have any money either. So there will never be a way that I am going to see any of you at a con nor will I see my gf... crying

Hmmmm well, the closest anime convention I can image that I'm near would be in San Fransico... And that's about 3 hours or so away. Traffic is pretty much bad in the morning and night commute, so that could make it a longer trip depending on when you go. Oh and the con there that I can mention would be the yaoi con. xD;; Oh and I bet they have some cons in San Diego, which is about 8-9 hours away as well. xd Good thing I don't live in Southern California... It's a b***h driving around there.. @w@;

The closest for me is 4 hours away & that's if I go as fast as possible & there's little to no traffic. I win by 1 hour.

Um... there's AnimeDetor about 4 hours from me... but it's not till September and I'll be in Alabama by then....
Anne... I'll be in the prosses of moving durring the OMG!con. So, chances are I wont be able to make it.... sweatdrop
