Has there ever been a good video game movie? I mean... really? biggrin
The first MK one didn't suck... and that's the best they're ever gonna do.

I don't play most of the video games that they make movies for...
But seriously, it was NOTHING like the games, at least the ones that I've seen played. It was explosions and objectified women (I REALLY mean this, like full-on nudity + whipped in a dungeon surrounded by laughing men... it was so ******** uncomfortable. I might not've minded if there was an actual POINT to her character, but all she did in the movie was walk around the hotel room naked trying to give 47 a boner.)
In the Hitman games, first off, Agent 47 is like a robot. Like he'd give a s**t about a woman. And, the whole point is to assassinate people QUIETLY. You do all this elaborate, crazy s**t to set things up, so that the killing looks like an accident. You don't snipe people in public and cause a scene, like in the movie. The more noise and suspicion you arouse, the more points you lose.
Anyway, I know Setzer made a thread about this before the movie came out... and we all agreed that Jason Strathom was the one and only person who could play Agent 47. After watching the movie, though, I can see why he turned down the part. :/
The only thing I was pleased with was the artistic side of it, like colors and lighting and certain camera angles. They made it LOOK like the video games in that sense.

Yeah, I remember that thread. I was more of a fighting game gel when I had friends to play them with. But playing the computer gets old fast, so now I pretty much stick to RPG's. Shooting games and crap like GTA just don't appeal to me.
Now you guys need to watch the Wolverine movie so I can b***h about what they did to my beloved Deadpool.

XDD My friends and I say that allll the time when we're making fun of Dungeons and Dragons (although that is technically a card game). I never saw the movie but my friends did and they said it was horrible. They tend to repeat this line every once in a while when we're bored. hahaha!
GASP! Jason Statham FTW! He's one of my favorite actors.
I saw Knowing and I wished someone forced me out or knocked me unconscious (though the MUSIC could have done it. It was horribly shrieky with violin strings galore). Ugh, that ENDING....WHY?! *cries*
