Xenon was looking about his eyes still scanning the tree canopy. "Now we'll have to-"
"Maboroshi are you even listening to my apology!"
Xenon's eyebrow twitched yet again as she stuck her head in the way he was trying to look. "Momoe-san...for the love of..." he gathered himself quickly, calming again. "I heard you, but getting the flag right now holds priority don't you agree...?"
Kimiko puffed out her cheeks, as though didn't quite feel satisfied. "Well yeah, but first you have to accept my apology."
Xenon looked, for a moment, the very picture of exasperation. "Very well...I accept your apology." Kimiko smiled at him and nodded, as though she was somehow suddenly appeased.
"Okay, good, now let's find that bird again." she thrust her arm toward the horizon as though they were embarking on some sort of epic quest.
Xenon stroked his temples as though he was stressed. 'You know it's very good thing I was born with silver hair Momoe-san, else wise you'd probably already have given it to me early...'

Xenon slide down the side of the tree trunk, his feet keeping his pace controlled as he landed. "It's a ways over there." He indicated, his calm apparently restored. "This time though we should try to be silent as we approach... in fact..." he looked at his two teammate's "Since it's not too terribly far, I'll retrieve this flag alone, if I can't pin down the bird, it will require stealth, and no offense but..." 'You two are about a as stealthy as a pair of raging buffalo' "It doesn't seem like you two are suited for it...I know for a fact you aren't Momoe-san."
Kimiko puffed up her cheeks again, turning her head away in a begrudging manner "Okay so I'm not sneaky...who would want to be sneaky any way!?"
Xenon pushed up his glasses slightly annoyed "Apparently someone who doesn't want to have to kill an innocent bird..." Kimiko looked at him suddenly a little surprised. "You should do something about your idea's of pride...stealth isn't always used for sticking a knife in someones back..." 'Though it certainly helps.' " At any rate, wait here and cover me," he glanced about again, if only for effect. "I don't think there's anything dangerous in here, but I wouldn't put it past that Sensei to place something of the kind..."
Kimiko nodded "Okay fine...oh! And Maboroshi, don't forget when your done that you have to tell Raine more about yourself."
"Oh goody." Xen said without even bothering to fake enthusiasm, sounding more bored. "Just a moment then..." took a deep breath...then headed out.

Move silently Check DC:15 Roll:12+12=24 Move Silently:12
Xenon slid through the branches. He'd scaled the trees with his chakra control ans was now proceeding to work his way closer to the bird. Kimiko and Raine were still within sight, and indeed he wanted to keep it that way, as he'd said, he wanted to keep their group together in here... he looked ahead, his breath so quiet even he couldn't hear it now. The bird was actually rather large, and it was sitting on a thick branch just ahead, trying to glean a meal of worms from a hole int he tree. He pushed up his glasses, and slowly slipped through the shadows of the canopy, approaching the avian target with finesse. He made no noise, no sound that could be heard over the forest lest it be by experienced ears...and lucky it seemed this bird was no ninja...
He was so quiet he was able to get up right behind the bird, it's pecking completely absorbing it's attention. With a quick and still stealthy manner, he untied the flag from the birds leg, careful not to alert the animal. When he removed the flag however the Bird looked about and, scared out of it's wits, flapped about madly and took off, this wouldn't have bothered Xen had it not nearly knocked him of the branch. He barely managed to hang on with one hand, this other clutching the flag. He couldn't lose this... it was... he gritted his teeth. It was important to establish team trust...yes...that was the only reason.
He swung his foot about and stuck himself to the tree, suddenly flipping upside down and stuck his other foot as he did so. He took a calming breath and started back down the trunk, the flag still in hand.
(Kimiko and Raine can chat or look for the other flag for one post while Xen was doing this...)

"Geez that looks like a hard one." Raine whispered to kimiko as he shifted to try and catch a glimpse of Xen. He couldn't have ever crept up on a a bird even if he really, really wanted do. Something about sneaking around that didn't really appeal to him. As a ninja now he'd probably have to work at it. The thought struck him and Raine remembered all that had happened today. He had finally become a genin! Feeling the bands on his forehead the small boy couldn't help but smile, two long years he'd trained through blood and sweat to get this. Looking at Kimiko and Xen in the distance he felt the true importance of who these people were, for the rest of his life he'd be connected to them... "Wow, Kimiko we really did it."

Kurina just dropped down again, she flipped back again before hitting the ground, and landing heavely on it, she mumbled a few cursing words at how unlucky she was and how everything was going in the wrong direction. she focused again and forced her chakra to her feet and raced towards the wall, leaping in the air and trying to defy gravity by walking on the wall and reaching the end of it.

Kimiko was looking with slightly wide eyes "Do...do you think he'll be okay? I..." she blinked slightly "Of course he will," she waved her hand as though she was being ridiculous "Maboroshi's my rival after all." As Raine spoke again she looked over at him.
He was right. They had. They were really Genin. She was still uncertain as to whether or not it really had sunk in. Since it seemed Maboroshi had managed to get the flag from the bird, they were one flag away from away from being a full fledged team. She put her hands on her hips in a victorious fashion. "Yeah... I guess we did..." she then scratched the back of her head. "But...then again, I don't think we can let ourselves be satisfied with this. We have to keep going forward to be the best we can be." she gave Raine another encouraging look. "The thing that's better than before though, is now we can do it together!"
Xenon set foot on the ground and started heading back to his teammate's holding the flag up to show he'd retrieved it. 'Right then... now, there's only my flag left... we just have to figure out where it is. And I need to give this to Raine to hold on to as well...' he looked about vaguely seeing if he could catch sight of their Sensei. 'I'll admit, if he is watching us in person...he's quite skilled...'

Raine smiled to kimiko he knew she was right, he thought of his brother who had died so fearlessly to protect his team, the ultimate ninja bond. "Yeah, We're in it together." He held out his hand to Xen's own extending to hand him the flag, grabbing the other boys hand, tightening Xen's fingers under his own on the flag. He took a manly stance to avoid the "Gay" approach of physical interaction, pulling thier hands up to his eye level Raine looked up at Xen. "We should make a pact. You know a real promise that we're gonna be together. That we're gonna fight for each other." He dipping their hands like a small shake as if he had just made the pact without their agreement and released Xen's hand, taking the flag as he did this. A confident smile with a clashing gaze to his teammate. He turned with the flag and help his hand out to Kimiko too, letting her choose to enter the pact.

Rosie apraoched her next tree with stumbling steps. The ground was uneaven beneith this tree, and the ground that had just been grass turned quickly to a pebbly dirt. It cause her feet a small bit of pain to stand on, but she didn't have time to move on right away. She would stop at this tree for just long enough then move to one more accomidating to her condition. rosie hit the tree with her foot sending the leafs tumbling from amidst the tree. However due to the grounding and surface Rosie felt herself fall, and had to use her arms to stop her fall. As she pushed herself off of the ground she grunted, this would by no means do, she would still have to hunt for a suitable place to stop if she wished to get even the slightest chance of making progress.

Rosie continued moving testing the ground and feel of the tree. when at last she found on that she deemed suitable she stopped looking up at the mighty head of the tree. It was indeed filled with leaves, and by the way they rustled it sounded as if they wanted to escape the grasp of the tree. Rosie waited, one palm on the tree. She felt a breeze pick up at the rustling become stronger until finally a few of the leaves escaped from the uper reaches of the tree. one leaf trickeled down slowly as it made its stead aproach to the ground. However before it could make it that far Rosie plucked it of the air gingerly. Holding it between her fingers with great care. Five, this was it. Rosie found the spot of thickest grass and let go of the leaf, feeling it be picked up by the windand carried away. If all whent smoothly, this would take only a few more minutes.

Rosies hair whippe around her face as a nice breeze picked up about her. the trees top shook forcefully causing a small fall of leaves to leave it's branches. The leaves tumbled through the air like acrobats. Doing turns and flips, summersaults and free falls. Each one showing the majisty of nature with it's decline. Rosie felt almost guilty for denying one of them their entire trip to the ground, but none the less what had to be done, had to be done. Reaching out Rosie took hold of one of the leafs. It felt like a sturdy cloth in her hand, though she knew with simply a little force it would tear. However Rosie could not deny nature it end and she simply let the leaf go, watching as it tumbled and flew away. That made six. she needed to pick up the pace if she was ever to acieve her goal.

Rosie readied herself for the next batch to fall, however it didn't come. The tree was calm and unmoving. Rosie raised her fist to hit the tree to forcefully remove leafs, but her mind recalled the leafs the had just fallen from this tree. The ones that fell naturaly seemed to not only be more beautiful in their randomness, but also seemed to hold more meaning when she did catch them. ones she forced into her hand left empty feelings, as if it wasn't true training, which in a way it wasn't. The point of this drill was to be ready for nature to work in own way into ones hand, not the other way around. So Rosie waited, she didn't have time to wait, but she really didn't have a choice. This drill would take time either way.

Rosie lowered her bod to the ground. Waiting for nature wasn't normally the way she operated. She liked to take action, but this never gave her time to reflect upon anything. but now, laying under the grand treem she had time to think. To think about everything that was soon to unfold. her image of what was to become of her life. She would start here, innocent, a oto student. The she would progress, it would take her longer then any of her living classmates, but one day she would become a shinobi of the sound. When that day came she would have to leave back to Iwa, she would have to seek out her clan so that she could learn... And after that, she would hunt for Akeru. She knew he was still alive somewhere. Somewhere in the world she felt his heart beating.

Rosie closed her eyes dully streching out in the grass. She direly wished her friends where with her right now. They always help her when she was the last on finished with these dull activities. When she had a conversation going it felt as if time never passed. That everything that was done was done in one second, and that made life easier, a litttle less stressfull. But, now, here laying in the grass she had no one. She was alone with her silance and her darkness, and in a way it provided it's own form of comfort. Like holding onto a teddy bear from child hood, or laying with a blanket from when you were a baby. It was the kind of friend that even when you forgot you had it, it would find a way to creep back in and remind you of what you two had been through together.
