What makes you so sure?

:::Cora shrugs:::
Well... just keep in the back of your mind how fast your father was willing to jump at this all too opportune moment to advance his research. :::She shakes her head, and after a long pause to think about things...:::
Y'know, Luana, it's not too late to turn back. I've seen what's at the end of the road you're on, and it's not a happy fate. Is there anything that could persuade you off it?

Luana's focus shifted to somethng far away through space and time. Is there anything that could persuade you off it? She bowed her head.
"I don't know. If things could just go back to the way they were when we were happy... when things made sense..." She looked up. "I just want Andy back."

Andrew comes here now too. He's joined this fight, whether he knows it or not. All of it. The Captain, the Seraphim, he's in this mess like the rest of us. And he's here for a reason, in just the same way. I can't tell you what that reason could possibly be. But... trust me. People change when they come here. For better or for worse, but they change.

:::Cora became stern:::
I've only met him once... and it hurt the boy to breathe. I can't imagine what it does to him just trying to smile.

"He didn't smile much before either, except in his eyes. You had to know what to look for." She stood up, and seemed only then to notice the chalk on her hands. "I should probably head back while I still remember what I was doing."

Well... at least, in the one eye he still has left... I didn't see anything other than weariness.

"Cora? How late is too late with this stuff?"

Never too late... at least in the Brink, there's no such thing as too late. Like I said. You both come here, and you'll both change. How you change, that might still be up to you.

:::pausing:::
Oh. Well. You're still alive aren't you? Then, it's not too late. I can't give you back the time that's been taken from your lifespan as a result, but I might be able to help you staunch the lingering effects and keep it from doing any more damage.

Luana... there are always going to be more missions. You decide when its time for you to stop.
:::Cora didn't expect this to make Luana turn and ask her to begin reversal of her physical state right away, but she did hope it would at least remind her when the time came to make the right choice:::
