Post......gosh I miss snow... I used to live in Illinois, but my father always said the cold hurt his bones so we moved to Florida....it's 60 degrees F and people here are in the big down jackets...while I'm in a tee shirt...

you can come and take snow from here.. I don't want it.. along with the cold weather.
Currently it's -18 degrees C, but it's been colder.. down to the -40's and that's with the windchill.

uh... wouldn't by travelling north increase the coldness.. unless you moved to like somewhere in the provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador, or British Columbia, Quebec and Ontario are warmer too..
Move the praries like Saskatchewan(where i live) Alberta or Manitoba(where i used to live for the first 6 years of my life) and your asking for weather between -40 degrees celsius all the way to 40 degrees Celcius.
then there's Nunavut, North West Territories and the Yukon, covered in snow, and probably even colder than the prarie provinces.
of course we also have lovely Alaska just above the Yukon. and that being the furthest north.. figure it out.
