Bestmom Ananda put your computer in safe mode then run your virus protection Hi everyone Hi Bestmom. heart I've never put the comp in safe mode before. What does that do?

In safe mode nothing but the essential programs run and the rest of the computer sleeps, making it easier for the virus protection to remove the virus.
If you are running winxp you need to shut the computer down and push the holding the alt key on start up, before it shows the WinXP load screen if that doesn't work try pushing the F9 button repeatedly then it should ask what mode you want to go in. you wont have internet while you do this.

Mostly because they are over running my house, and they wont use the litter box anymore, and I couldn't teach the babies to use it either I am tired of my house smelling bad

No internet... crying I fiddled with a couple of things and am running my anti-virus program right now. If it doesn't work, I guess I'll try safe mode. I tried asking this guy I know what to do last night, and he was completely useless. He just rattled off all these different programs, only one of which I remember. So I downloaded the one I remember, but I can't get it to install, because it said that McCaffee Virus Scan is incompatible with it.....I don't have McCaffee on my comp.... gonk I wish Sryne was here. crying
