*Luke keeps that in mind. He's still furious at Melliandra, and he hates that he had to put on this show. But at least he got a few answers ... or the best he was going to get at this point.*

:::Cora feels a sort of lurch in her stomach when Luke fades. She wanted him there so she could show him how angry at him she was for letting her hang like that...
And she wanted to be angry at him for asking of Melliandra's help. When he was gone, there was nothing left for her to hold on to like that... and along with it, she considered letting go of her pride.
Was Melliandra telling the truth? Was she really able to help them...
