Gaaaaah....I hate Chemistry. Not the subject, but the class...the teacher kills me. Where's biology when you need it?

KirbyVictorious Thanks, Reese, but I think you're the wrong gender. xd Hokay, Tak. We're doing scientific notation and significant digits. How do you add/subtract/multiply/divide two numbers that have different notations on them? EX: 3.4x10^3 + 2.3x10^4 EX: 3.4x10^3 x 2.3x10^4 The rule for exponents is that you add them together when its multiplication and subtract them when its division.. I can't remember the rules for addition and subtraction for I no longer have to take a math course and don't need to know any of that crap. Hope that helped in some way, despite not answering your question at all sweatdrop

Yes, that is true Ni. But with Chemistry..
Everything is diffferent. All rules contradict themselves.

Yeah...
Anyhow, I'm having some fun with this story I'm writing. It's had a drastic change over the past year, and I'm really liking it. It's entertaining to see how it unintentionally has some Harry-Potter-like elements (people not from our world that are completely fascinated with the way us modern folk work.)
And I'm only up to page 5! Man... I have a ways to go.

yes I am back, BlackHawk, and with a much cooler avatar. Of course I spent about an hour in marketplace until I finally won an auction for Gift of the Gods... and am now poor gonk Ah well it was worth it.
Whats your story about?
p.s. Just because you mentioned it: Harry Potter. I lost all respect for JK Rowling as an author after I found out what happens in Deathly Hallows, I still haven't read it just because of that bullshit deus ex machina.

White texted even though I'm sure anybody who really cares has read the book already: Killing off Harry but then bringing him back to life. Killing off characters and bringing them back to life is one of the worst examples of deus ex machina and I can very rarely excuse it, and as far as I can tell there is no reason to excuse it in Deathly Hallows.

Tak, don't read below, seriously (highlight to read): I don't think he actually died... I mean, they live in a magical world, right? I thought the whole King's Cross scene was in some weird time freeze moment... but I could be wrong.
In other news, I'm now girlfriendless. I've now lost all inspiration to write for another week or so (since I refuse to do sad emo crap anymore.)

Poor Hawk-san. crying
Ni:
Okay, I admit Harry needed to die, but the way she pulled it off was BRILLIANT. If she had to do it, that was how she was supposed to. But the epilogue pissed me off...
And regardless, my characters die several times, and come back to life. I do it pretty well...it's actually crucial to the storyline. Does that make me terrible? crying

Poor Hawk crying Being girlfriendless sucks.
I broke up with my first ever girlfriend at like the beginning of August. Went through that damn emo phase, it sucks hardcore.
p.s. Happy ending to my story: After that whole emo phase, and shortly after I began looking for someone else I discovered that this friend of mine had a crush on me for close to a year, and now her and I are dating. mrgreen
