Despite the class being over Kindra didn't leave the class area. Though she did stand up, but was still staring back at the creature. Though after a while she notice the other metallic looking creatures where all looking at her but for some reason one of them caught her eye. For some reason she had a weird feeling about it, and feeling she couldn't quite explain at the moment. After a few minute she walked over to the professor though she kept staring at the creature. "Excuse me professor what are those creatures over their" She said pointing towards them.
She walked over to the pen towards the creature that caught her eye. The creature was fairly large when standing it went up to about her thigh, and it drew close to the pen wall as Kindra came closer. "hello there young one" she grew surprised when she heard its voice in her head. "Y-you can talk!?" Her response lead to the creature laughing a bit. "Yes I can talk"

{{Hey everyone. Maybe I should have mentioned this sooner, but if you have questions or concerns or something about Bai Ching, you should probably ask Eylios or Secret Kirari. I've had a number of people ask me questions or bring something up about Bai Ching lately, and I have no idea what's going on anymore. I would love to be able to answer your questions, but I just can't. I don't have the info. So, instead of making you have to write a PM or anything to me and then have to send it to Secret or Eylios, I'm just cutting out the middle man and letting you know on here that you should just directly talk with one of them, especially concerning the main plot. I might be able to help with little stuff. I could try.

Professor Markums walked behind Kindra and was about to answer her question about the creature she was pointing to, but by her startled face and the creature's steady gaze, it appeared as if Kindra was already having a conversation with the animal.
Markums laughed and rested her hand on Kindra's shoulder in a comforting manner.
"It's alright, Kindra. This is an Automaton. I have one myself! They are really quite extraordinary and can form themselves into any metal object you desire. My familiar frequently morphs into a metal podium for me to use out here. If there is a strong connection between a creature and a human, that person will likely be able to hear that creature's voice in their head. I can hear almost any creature's voice in my head, but that's due to my training and special powers. I was born to be an animal caretaker, I believe."
She laughed softly again and then nodded to the Automaton. "You can speak back to it verbally or telepathically, Kindra. Whichever you feel the most comfortable with."

"Wow really? That's kinda like my power. Thanks to my powers I'm able to control metal." She gave a small demonstration by pretty much ripping off a piece of her sheath and turning it into a metallic ball and then after wards used it to repair the hole she just made. "Thats an Impressive power you have their." She turned towards the creature smiling a bit. "And you have a pretty cool ability as well. Oh by the way my name is Kindra." Since she was talking with it she might as well introduce herself. "My name is Kikinzoku Ookami but you can call me Kiki for short. Its a pleasure to meet you Kindra"

Professor Markums eyes widened when she saw Kindra perform a quite impressive task with her powers. An Automaton familiar really would fit her well.
Markums smiled and patted Kindra's shoulder lightly before removing her hand and bringing up her class roster, which she had been holding onto with her other hand, so that she could write on it.
"Alright, then. I will write your name down as well as your new familiar's. I already know both of your names. I'll write Kiki's full name down, just for official purposes on this roster."
As Markums was writing, she spoke to Kindra. "Now, the Automatons usually do not eat normal food. In fact, they really only need to be fed once a month, and that's with metal shavings. You can feed them normal treats, but you do not need to."

She reached her hand towards it and right when her hand rested upon its head a shocking sensation was felt. She pulled her hand away quickly but continue to feel the shock as it climbed up her arm and stopped right at her cheek. Then when she saw her reflection on the creatures body she saw a small marking on her cheek that resembled a wolf. "What th.....""it seems we are partners now." With those words it suddenly dawned on her. "Wait.....this means your my familiar???" "You are correct in thinking that." Kiki responded before jumping out of the pen. She couldn't believe it, her first day of class and already she has a familiar.

Professor Markums smiled brightly and proudly as she saw the excited look appear on Kindra's face. She loved seeing it everytime, and she had seen it several times that day because several students had gotten familiars that day.
She had not waited for the marking and connection process to occur before she wrote down the pair on her roster because she could already tell with how drawn Kindra was to Kiki that they were meant to be bonded.
"Well, you two, I really hope that you get along well together. I believe you will. Kiki will stay in your dorm room from now on, Kindra. Now you both should hurry back to the castle and get more acquainted with each other."
She smiled brightly at both of them.

He chuckled at her mention of the shy boy. It brought on thoughts of the first time he'd met the two, and how at first they didn't care for his flirtatious manner with them both. Now they almost considered him their guidance, substituting for their lack of family. "Yes, ever since I've known the two Bo has been shy and Luli's been feisty. I believe their opposite personalities help each other cope, at least in my opinion." Musica continued driving along at a steady pace, not going quite as fast as usual. He wasn't really looking forward to going back to the school, but he supposed if she wanted him to go with her then he couldn't possibly refuse.

”Feisty is one way to put it,” Ari said, nodding. Humming to herself, she fiddled with the necklace around her neck again. Nasty habit, her mother always said. ”I’m sorry for making you tell me,” she said abruptly, ”It really wasn’t my place to know.”

Musica stared intently at the road, never taking his eyes off it as he thought about what to say. Why did he tell her really? She was right, he didn't have a reason to do so, other than the fact she demanded answers. He sighed deeply. "It would have come out sooner or later, and sooner in my opinion is better. I trust you, you know, and I hope to regain yours." What he was referring to was when he took her into the lake, asking her for his trust to keep her safe. He'd broken that trust.

”Nein," she said, tossing the hair out of her eyes and smiling. "Es gibt nichts zu verzeihen," she said simply, "... aber ich bin froh, dass Sie mir vertrauen." She felt the car rumble beneath her, and the sound was comforting. Noise in general was... without it, she'd be lost in her own little hell hole of dark. She needed her sight back... but she just didn't know how.

"Es ist mein Vergnügen." He said still intent on his drive. Soon they were passing the lake as they were getting closer to the school. This time however he didn't look over at it. "Ich bin wirklich durchaus überraschtes Fräulein Ever hasn' t kommen nach Ihnen schon, was mit den Sachen Sie mir und allen erklärten." He said suddenly, wanting to end the unpleasant silence.

Ari laughed. ”I’m surprised myself. I wonder what’s keeping her?” Ari could smell the lake now, and knew the school was close. She changed the tune she had been humming to a more lively beat, tapping her hand against her leg occasionally as the melody demanded.

"She's probably doing something with Eric, you know." Musica said laughing, passing through the gates of the school quickly. Within seconds they came to abrupt halt in front of the school. The truck let out a groan at the stop and then became silent. "Looks like we're here."

”Indubitably,” Ari said seriously, but then she laughed. Evermore could be such a hypocrite. Gathering her bag, she hopped out of the car and gently shut the door behind her. ”C’mon… we ought to hurry to get inside. I don’t want to get in trouble for getting out of your car,” she said, chuckling. She took a moment to orient herself, and then began to walk away from the main entrance to the school, doubling back around by the lake to the back entrance of the dorms, waving for Musica to follow her.
