Well, the best thing to think about in these situations is if you really like him at all.
Cause if you ask him, and find our half way through the relationship that your really are not into him, then it's gonna be a problem, obviously.
...but of course, you should think about what he does that actually makes you interested and work with that.
Having things in common can really help you out.

So, figure yourself out first, and if you really like him, there's no harm in asking if he likes you back.
Cause like I said, If you really think you like him, and he likes you back, but he's either too shy or oblivious to his own emotions, it's gonna have to be you who makes the first move.
You can't wait forever, girlfriend.

...and if that's the case, It's time for us to swallow our pride and ask the girl, cause It usually ends up that the girl is over complicating things and confusing the hell out of us.

Swimming! xD
Sure as hell isn't Soccer. I went to the Varsity games with my best friend Alaina the other day, and we kept asking each other what just happened. xD I played soccer, but that was way back during the summer Recreation league as a little kid. With only the basic rules. xD
But we're both Flyers, so there's something in common. He's a better flyer than I am, though, so he's been helping me out a lot with that.
He's good at getting out knots, and I have plenty of them in my shoulders for him to work at. xDD
I have been, and I really do like him, but I have no clue what to do about it. xD My swimmy friend Kaitlyn and her swimmy boyfriend Josh {The swimmers in my school tend to go out with each other more than they do with non-swimmers. Most kids in our high school play a sport, but the swimmers definitely have the toughest and longest practices out of all of them.} were actually discussing about how to hook me up at the homecoming football game Friday night. It was awkward, because I don't think they know. >> Well, Josh probably figured it out from my reaction, but Kaitlyn's blonde on the inside, so I don't think she got it. Josh and I have known each other since I was about six, so he knows me pretty well. I have no clue what he'll do about it, though. Kaitlyn still thinks I should go back to dating my ex, but Josh actually understands what I'm saying about the kid. >>

You should figure out whether he's compatable with you first before trying to persue a relationship... It saves you from more mistakes and such...

Isn't it better if the guy's ask out? From what I've heard and seen, guys that are asked out by girls let the girl's agressiveness take ove rthe relationship and they just go along with whatever...? confused
not meaning to offend anyone in anyway, this is just what I've heard from friends, and have actually seen in some cases...

And pretty anti-social normally. But for some reason, its pretty much impossible to be quiet around other swimmers..... unless I run out of lactaid again. That wasn't good. xDD
But anyway, I don't think I can! ;~;
I'm actually pretty shy about stuff like that, believe it or not. xP
I don't want to embarrass myself. I remember that this past summer while we were working at swim lessons together that he liked my friend Maya, another swimmer. I had just started liking him, so it didn't bother me at all to encourage him to ask her out. He got turned down though. D:
I told him it was for the best, though, seeing as the longest Maya's had a boyfriend is two weeks. xD
I'm going to try and test the waters first, I'm not really as blunt with things like this. I won't lead him on, just maybe be a little more... observant in his presence. I don't want to make our friendship awkward if he's not interested in me.
....That phrase is actually rather ironic.
Swimmers.

Well Rin, that's good and well if the guy isn't shy about it, but women have to step up too!

Well, Ryo, if that's the way you are, then take your time.
If you really can't come up to him straight off, then causally make it known to him that your interested.
Maybe he'll step up, eventually.
...and if it does make your friendship a little awkward, it's okay, it'll mend back soon enough.
...just don't wait too long, cause before you know it, too much time will have passed, and it will have been too late.

I'll ask Kaitlyn and Josh to work they're swimmy Hookup powers flowing? xD I'm sure Josh would find out if he was interested in me or not if I asked him too. Or I could call in my "big brother" who graduated last year, and was a swimmer, and ask him to do it. He'd find out one way or another for me. xD
And if I do get Josh or someone to find out for me, I'm wondering if he'd be able to make the connection. That would be really awkward. D:
and I won't. If I don't up the nerve during my season, there's always his. I plan on managing the guys team. xD
