MISSION- Shades of the Rouge Must complete Shadow of the Dessert
A mysterious informant has told us that someone’s conducting a low-profile operation out of Pyrite Cave. He mentioned that some of the local ruffians have been seen using Shadow Pokemon.
Meet the informant in Pyrite Town and he’ll guide you to the cave entrance. Get to the bottom of this! (You’ll fight 2 guards with two Pokémon each and Rouge Cail, who has three regular Pokémon and a Shadow Pokémon)
Pokemon: 1 Shadow Pokémon allowed at your rank(You will need a team snag machine)
Rewards: 2500 PD --------------------------- I grabbed the Snag Machine and hid it in my coat, careful not to let anyone know I had it. Hunter, ShadowCat, Ike, and Brian wouldn't mind, as it was needed for the mission. But I still didn't trust many others. I sent out Flygon and started flying to Pyrite Cave.
I put a Pokéball in the machine to make it a Snag Ball. I landed about 45 minutes later and returned Flygon. I saw the informant, and I followed him towards the cave. He filled me in with the information along the way. There were two others with Rouge Cail, plus Cail himself.
Cail had several normal Pokémon and a Shadow Pokémon. Knowing this, I headed into the cave but left my flashlight off. It was best to maintain stealth until I was already known as being there.
The cave was long and dark, but I made my way. I didn't meet any distractions along the way. When I got to the end of the cave, I found a flight of stairs leading down, so I went down them.
This part of the cave was lit with lanterns living the walls. I cautiously edged down, hugging the wall. I began to hear voices, growing louder and louder as I headed towards them. I turned a corner, expecting to find the guards and Cail, but I saw nothing. Only more stairs.
I went down them and found myself in a pitch black room. I still heard the voices, but they were coming from deeper down, so it was safe to turn my flashlight on. I did and waved it around the room. On the edges were chests. I went over and opened one up. It was empty.
I continued down the hallway and fell into a hole of some sort. I shined my flashlight around me, but I only saw dirt. I hoisted myself up onto flat ground again, and continued on my way. Instead of shining my flashlight ahead of me, I shined it on the ground, looking for more of the holes, which I saw many of.
I saw more stairs and I wandered down them, wondering, ’Is this cave ever going to end?’ I heard the voices getting louder, and I knew I was close. I turned off my flashlight and continued forward, and soon I saw a dim light.
I edged into the room. I saw three people, one of whom I could identify as Rouge Cail. The other two were unknown to me. As I looked more closely, Cail seemed to be arguing with the other two men, pointing at a hole in the ground. I couldn’t make out all the words, though a few of them did drift my way, and I could make out words that sounded like “Shadow Pokémon… sell… locals…”
Nobody noticed me, and there was no point just standing there, so I cleared my throat loudly. All three men turned towards the sound and saw me standing there in my Aqua headband. “Aqua ‘eh?” Cail said. “Take care of him.” The two men advanced, one of them sending out an Ampharos and a Poliwrath. I sent out Manectric and Larvitar to fight.
“Manectric, use Thunder on Poliwrath! Larvitar, Dig on Ampharos!” I said. Sparks shot from Manectric at Poliwrath, hitting it and doing a ton of damage. Larvitar dug a hole in the ground and disappeared through it.
“Poliwrath, Blizzard. Ampharos, Cotton Spore.” the first man said. The room got cold and Manectric was hit with ice, as well as a powder that slowed it down.
“Manectric, Spark!” I said. Manectric tackled Poliwrath and KOed it, and Larvitar came up right below Ampharos and did a ton of damage. The man returned Poliwrath.
“Strength on Manectric!” he said. Ampharos charged its energy and rammed into Manectric.
“Manectric, use Bite! Larvitar, use Crunch!” I said. Both Pokémon launched themselves at Ampharos and bit down on it, KOing it. The man returned Ampharos and stepped back, while the other stepped forward, sending out an Espeon and a Pelipper.
“Espeon, Psychic on Manectric! Pelipper, Water Pulse Larvitar!” he said. A wave of telepathic energy rippled the air and Manectric was crushed into the ground. Water shot from Pelipper’s mouth and hit Larvitar.
“Manectric, use Charge! Larvitar, use Crunch on Espeon!” I said. Manectric began to store its energy, preparing to release a KOing attack next turn. Larvitar jumped forward again and bit into Espeon.
“Espeon, Psybeam Manectric! Pelipper, Hydro Pump Larvitar!” my opponent said. A colorful beam shot from Espeon’s forehead and hit Manectric, as more water gushed from Pelipper’s mouth and KOed Larvitar. I returned the latter and sent out Bagon.
“Manectric, use Thunder on Pelipper! Bagon, use Crunch on Espeon!” I said. Manectric unleashed the stored energy on Pelipper, KOing it, while Bagon darted towards Espeon and bit down on it. The man returned Pelipper.
“Espeon, use Hyper Beam on Manectric!” the man said. Espeon charged its energy for a moment and then unleashed it on Manectric, KOing it. I returned Manectric and sent out Wailmer. “Wailmer, use Ice Beam! Bagon, use Crunch!” I said. A beam of frozen energy emitted from Wailmer and hit Espeon while Bagon bit it again and KOed it.
“Espeon, return.” the man said. Espeon disappeared, and the two men looked at Cail. He motioned with his hand; they nodded, and left the area. He moved towards me. “Well, it appears that Aqua chose a worthy man.” he said. “But can you defeat me?” He sent out a Nidoking.
“Nidoking, Megahorn!” Cail said. Nidoking jumped forward and rammed Bagon with its horn. “Bagon, use Dragonbreath!” I said. Bagon breathed on Nidoking, doing a decent amount of damage. “Nidoking, Focus Punch!” Cail said. Nidoking tried to punch Bagon, but missed.
“Bagon, use Flamethrower!” I said. A jet of flame emitted from Bagon’s mouth and hit Nidoking. “Nidoking, Ice Beam!” Cail said. A beam of frozen energy zoomed towards Bagon and KOed it. I returned Bagon and sent out Swampert.
“Swampert, use Surf!” I said. Water spewed from Swampert’s mouth and filled the room, KOing Nidoking. Cail returned it. “Not bad.” he snorted. “But I’m just getting warmed up.” I snickered at that.
“Nidoqueen, it’s your turn!” he said. He threw a Pokéball and a Nidoqueen appeared. “Earthquake!” Nidoqueen jumped up and down on the earth and began to worry me as I looked up at the ceiling. “Swampert, use Ice Beam!” I said. Swampert fired a beam of frozen energy at Nidoqueen and hit it, doing a ton of damage.
“Nidoqueen, Shadow Ball!” Cail said. Nidoqueen released a dark ball of shadow energy that hit Swampert. “Swampert, use Surf!” I said. Swampert filled the area with water again, and this time Nidoqueen was KOed. “You’ve defeated my first two Pokémon.” Cail sneered at me. “But not this one!”
He returned Nidoqueen and threw a third Pokéball, and an Articuno appeared. I stared at it with amazement. “Articuno, Sheer Cold!” Cail said. Swampert was trapped in a block of ice and was instantly KOed. I returned it and sent out Blaziken.
“Blaziken, use Sunny Day!” I said. The sun somehow illuminated the area with light, and Fire attacks became stronger. “Articuno, Aerial Ace!” Cail said. Articuno flew near the ceiling and then struck Blaziken with lightning speed.
“Blaziken, use Fire Blast!” I said. A huge flame emitted from Blaziken’s mouth and hit Articuno, doing a ton of damage. “Rock Smash!” Cail yelled, beginning to get worried. Rocks poured onto Blaziken, lowering its defense. “Blaziken, finish it with Flamethrower!” I said. Another jet of flame emitted from Blaziken’s mouth and hit Articuno, this time KOing it.
“What!?!” Cail yelled. “How could this happen?” He looked at me with a fire in his eyes. I shrugged and looked back. He returned Articuno and sent out a Houndoom. I noticed a dark aura around it. This was the one to catch. “Houndoom, Hyper Beam!” Cail yelled. Houndoom prepared for a devastating attack, then released the energy it stored and did a ton of damage to Blaziken, who nearly fainted.
“Blaziken, use Earthquake!” I said. Blaziken shook the ground multiple times, doing a ton of damage to Houndoom. Houndoom needed to recover from Hyper Beam, so it was my turn to attack again. “Dig!” I said. Blaziken dug a hole in the ground and disappeared into it.
“Flamethrower in the hole!” Cail said. As Houndoom began to fire flame through the hole, Blaziken came up right under it and did a ton of damage, almost KOing it. I pulled the Pokéball from the snag machine inside my coat and threw it. Shake, shake, shake, ding!
“What!?!” Cail yelled in frustration. “How did he steal my Pokémon?” He looked at me and I at him, smirking the whole time. “That’s for me to know and you to never find out.” Suddenly the whole room went dark. The lights went off. When they turned back on, Cail was gone.
I walked over to the whole to see what they had been arguing about. Inside I saw nothing, so I walked back up the stairs slowly. When I got outside, I sent out Charizard and we flew back to HQ. When I got back to HQ, I returned Charizard, walked inside, and set the Snag Machine in its place.

You fail to state why you're going to Pyrite Town, and how do you know what the informant looks like? In the mission brief it says a mysterious informant. Other than that, there's only one problem: Blaziken should be KOed by the Hyper Beam from Houndoom. Taking an Aerial Ace (which would be super effective) and a Rock Smash from Articuno, then a Hyper Beam from Houndoom would definately KO Blaziken.

Hunter, ShadowCat, Ike, and Brian wouldn't mind, as it was needed for the mission. But I still didn't trust many others. I sent out Flygon and started flying to Pyrite Cave.
The reason I needed to head to Pyrite Cave was because Rouge Cail had been getting Shadow Pokémon somehow. We needed to stop him from giving them to the locals, and I had been chosen for the mission. I was supposed to meet an anonymous person who informed us of the situation.
I put a Pokéball in the machine to make it a Snag Ball. I landed about 45 minutes later and returned Flygon.
Houndoom prepared for a devastating attack, then released the energy it stored and did a ton of damage to Blaziken, who was KOed.
I returned Blaziken to its Pokéball. Sending out Wailmer, I told it to use Surf. Wailmer filled the room with water and Houndoom took a ton of damage. Houndoom needed to recover from Hyper Beam, so it was my turn to attack again. "Hydro Pump!" I said. Wailmer released a huge jet of water at Houndoom, and it was very weak.
