One thing, though, Cale: assuming that the ship that Link was on in hyperspace, wouldn't the escape pod be trapped in the hyperspatial realm? eek

I remmeber some novel ... well, rather, the name escapes me, but one thing that had always stuck out is that they put some dude in an escape pod whilst in hyperspace. And said guy in the pod was forevermore doomed to eternity in the otherworldy hyperspatial realm. Kinda creepy, when you think about it. eek

Besides, Escape pods have their own hyperdrives.

The novel was Tyrant's Test, and no... Escape pods don't have hyperdrives.

They don't... Why do you think people make such a big deal out of recovering escape pods in the X-wing books, because they're restricted just to sublight.
