(( Well, it's true that touching with coma patients is beneficial but I wasn't talking about them. In cases with average people there are many benefits. Examples: Touching someone as you listen to them lets them know what they are saying matters. Physical contact between peers is known to strengthen bonds. Children who are nurtured and held are more likely to grow up healthier and more confident. Sure not everyone is good with physical contact, especially as happiness and affection are seemingly becoming taboo, but overall it is a healthy practice!))

[Eye contact let's your co-conversationer know that you at least care enough about them to listen. Smiles and conversations work just as well, if not even better to strengthen bonds. Children, I have no qualms with holding children, as the ones most likely to do the holding and nurturing are their guardiens. As afore mentioned, I have no issues with physical contact between born and blooded families.
As for the taboo, well, that is so not my reason for intamenicy problems. Following the "In" crowd, the Dolls, has never been a favorite habbit of know, and is it so not going to start as one.]

((Meh, I just enjoy the connection, I suppose. I've always loved the feeling of being held and all. I'm not scary about it. I consider you and the rest of the rp crew here my friends so I hug. I'm a hugger.))

[Try, next time, and you may get an inkling of why I am this way. Well, not why, certainly, hopefully, you shan't have to think of the why. More of a provocted thought, then, if not why.]

[Strawberry cream. -Drools- But, truth be told, aside from the occational cheese cake, strawberry cream pies and brownie, I am not a heavy sweet person. My tastes tend to stray to turnover like sweets. ^_^" A...weakness, persay.

((I'm cursed with a sweet tooth that would kill most diabetics. I absolutley adore sugary goodness. As for my favorite pei? Pumpkin pie with gobbs of cool whip on top. My Grammy's homemade pumpking pies were mindblowingly good.))
