You realize at base PS does 57% damage then when you factor in critical hits. Its not hard to imagine how a PS could knock out a full 100 hp user.
For me when ever I play guns I find it to be a little cheap at times. All im saying is when I am in a gun game and I have been doing good, killed off like 3 or 4 ppl. Just to get around the corner and there be a two walls and an army of sentries. I feel as though its BS because YOU could not stop me, your wall + sentry did.
Mean while in swords when i reach that same corner and I see 3 enemies their with their counter swords. Please belive if I have the skill I can still battle my way through. You wont be able to simply setup an automatic defense service. You have to man up and fight me yourself.

For one, sentry's are rare as hell to be fair. Secondly, never enter a blind corner on guns... period. You don't do it on swords even without paying for it every so often. Instead you edge your way, try to get a view from a distance, etc. For me, I can shadow step (shift with shield + sidestep = invincible side jump, trick the koreans came up with) out of the way, blow up the turrets or do a simple wall jump and get over it all. Walls in guns are also rare, I might see one every 15 games, even in TD oddly enough. I wouldn't consider them cheap either, if you pick a turret sentry you're down one weapon. One extra gun makes a HUGE difference simply do to being able to switch out when a clip runs out mid showdown, or a melee choice instead of that second gun, either way you're loosing a slot for a device that you have to hope someone runs into (even when they do it rarely kills, I use it for back up, to shoot while I'm shooting essentially. I purposely bait and trail people to them, but that's a legit strategy just as camping is. Skill comes in how well you can pull it off). Hell I can't even get mad at the MS users, because while they can do it through walls and you can't really dodge it, it's easy as s**t to gun them down since they're basically force to walk while using it and it kills very slowly.

They had an event that started a while back (last till the 28th) where you can get perms if you earn exp. So rank up now before the 28th while you still can. You can get it by ranking up, earning set amounts of exp, or donating ap. Other than that you should have one perm set of clothing and weapons. The rest you just kinda fuumbi up (it's really not that hard, I generally wear temp stuff from the fuumbi shop over my perm stuff to avoid repair costs anyways since I get it while trying to get more perms).

I view leveling as a side reward, not a goal. Though I play with other friends online while we coordinate on skype =D (sometimes)

Oh almost forgot, got to put up new dd items. Every time we do an event there's going to be themed DD items that come right after =D
As always if you have an idea for an event feel free to present it to me. The current one will have follow ups that tie in and explain why things happened, who the strangers are, etc.

its a grind when you can never find anyone fun to play with and they are either F'ing retards who suck nuts at the game and you wind up playing for 8 people or they are so damned good that you don't get a chance to do jack squat. thats my issue with S4 the GAP in player skill. Its either halfwit noobs who have no talent or annoying l337'ists whenever I find a room to play in.

there are some revival rules they are just a little difficult to find yea. I remember finding it somewhere. like, one week or something. don't remember the exacts cause I just saw it in passing, I just know its hiding in there somewhere. I think its in the combat rules somewhere, like where the criticals are maybe.

And this is the standstill we always find ourselves in when we start this argument lol. I see walls and sentries damn near every game I play with guns TD mode. Im the type of player where I just dont enjoy being stopped or killed by a skill. I am the type where I like to actually fight for it. As far as cs spam goes. Well that is something that can ruin a game, however when you reach a certain level of skill with melee spam only becomes effective 10% of the time. Such as being trapped in a corner or inside a small area. Casein point, the only times spam is ever a problem for me is when I am in the tunnel and there are 2 or more cs users and even then if I have any sp at all im gone. Secondly, if your talking about cs revenge stance + left or right dodge cancel + the jump that would be wave step not shadow step. But then again I guess the gun community could have a diff name for it. I find that s4 is a game where even though were all playing the same game its entirely diff experience and community lol.

Yeah I just don't ever really see them that often, and never more than 1 when I do see them. Even then I just pop shield and down them in less than 2 seconds more than enough to keep moving with most of my clip left. The thing with the sentries though is they're very limited, you only have 3 per life, if you die they die and they only cover about a 45 degree arc. They also take a few seconds to set up and a few seconds to even start firing at an enemy sometimes. On top of all that they're not mobile and a few hits from anything will kill them. So can they be annoying? Sure, but if they couldn't kill or harm you then why would you ever bring one over any other weapon? They have to be useful in their own way, and that's simply being able to combine firepower with their user, or defend a spot while your gone (albiet a very poor defense but one that could pick off an injured enemy). Mind you, I also run with a few healers I've made friends with so even if one does tag me one of them usually has my back. As for CS spam I never have a problem with any melee spam. Anyone that melee spams usually dies fairly quickly with me. I just get a quick few dodges for distance and blow them away with my semi's since we're at close range still. Takes no more than a few secs to stop that. It's more having 16 people in one open area just bashing away for the entire game that I don't find enjoyable. For TD? Not really much of a fan of TD. Why? Because the games are almost always lopsided, you generally wind up with one team that just dominates the other. Very rarely will you find two teams that are even remotely even. That said, I prefer side-3 for TD, has some awesome jumps. As for the dodge, no it has nothing to do with the CS. You just need the Shield skill. Tap shield, dodge left or right as soon as you tap it on. It turns the shield graphic off but gives you the equivalent of a shield 360 degree's around you during the dodge without the AP loss. Not useful against melee, but great against guns. @Ava: Yeah I hear you, but you really just need to find some good fun players and friend them. It takes a while but every now and then you'll run across someone that doesn't b***h and moan about everything and manages to do decent if not quite good. As soon as you do, friend them. I have about 12 or so players that I simply met while playing S4 and I play with often and they also often join my rooms when I'm on. Even if we're playing on opposing teams it makes it much more enjoyable.
