thistle7 In oregon you could go in to a hospital and they HAD to treat you, regardless of if you could afford it or not. THey would just bill you.... those bills could end up being heinous, but they couldn't refuse you... Yeah... It is the same way here up to the point where you get into the system as a guinea pig. I can't afford the surgery myself and am epic broke. Parents won't cover it either. And I can't get medicaid because basically I am A) Not black, B) Not illegal, and C) I know someone at some point in my life that made money at one time. Yeah, I know it sounds racist, but it is the way it works in our guilt-driven, inverted-racist country. They see that my dad and grandmother who won't pay for it have money and deny me - regardless of how I am independently in need. JoeEuphonium @brandon.... how do we kill troglodytes. Though sturdy and horrid, a decent sword, warhammer, or fire spell seems to end them adequately. It is just that whole not killing people who piss you off deal our society idiotically clings to that is the problem.

If you were black, the hospital would drop you off in skid row in a gown with no pockets or underwear.

so my son and I have decided to take a 7 day hiatus from most technology. THis means I wont be on here or facebook or twitter or games or movies or anything... for 7 DAYS!!! I miss the days when I had no tv or computer and technology was a treat. I also think I may get a lot more done and enjoy the second halves of my days more if I am forced into other activities, say reading a book, or crocheting... we shall see. I will see you all in 8 days!
