Hehe I'm a rocker and I find preps the most orgasmic thing in the world. Just cause your one type of person doesn't mean you only like people like you. You both took art so you have a bridge there. See if you have anything else in common and if not maybe you can share some of your things with him and him you.

He's good at art and I took the class because I thought it would be easy. xDD
Then I found out that I sucked at art and I have no talent for that.
So, lets see, I have no musical, or artistic talent. I also seem to struggle with other languages...(<--different subject xD)

..now if I could only find out what his new elective is neutral

*was rping sorry* That would just be stalker-ish. Just probe him if he likes you he shouldn't mind to much. Find out what he likes besides art. Try and listen to some rock. Start out wuth the softer rock like Linkin Park and work your way up.

PATD rocks monkey butt and you know it. Lacuna Coil and Red Jumpsuit Appartus are currently my favorite bands right now. My most despised band since they even came out is Green Day. They suck.

But he actually listens to pop, which is funny. xD
He started singing Fergiclicous, Wind it up, and Holla back girl.
He was all "That thought me how to spell bananas!..and now I can spell tasty and delicious..."
And I don't stalk people!
I'm barely comfortable at looking at people I like...
Then my friends she and are all "Ooh, you like him!"
But I always win those conversations some how...*Shrug*
EDIT: No one listens to that in my town!..except my dad o.o
EDIT AGAIN: I always hated Green Day. xDD

Like I said I'm more metal soo umm yeah...Red jumpsuit is ok as is PatD and fallout. Linkin Park has to be my favorite though.....I belive rock needs to make you jump up and air guitar and or have some screaming in it to be considered Rock.

Pop oesn't headbop either. But meh friends do. We were at a Christmas assembly and my friend just started headbanging to Carol of The Bells(the choir was singing it). XD
