Zoks stopped and looked to the young girl in frount og her with a glare. Without a word she turned and sniffed the air for a secound then pointed to her left. "town this way..." She then moved her ears back once again thinking she heard something but it just happened to be a bird in a tree. But was strange the bird didn't make a noice. Before Shakka could say a word, Zoks had already started to head to where the smell of civilization was.

Zoks didn't sayanything a first but then stoped and looked to the girl. "quietness equals danger... plus..." Zoks then looked over at the town she can see in the distance. "closest town around.. we need to rest somewhere safe."

"fine we will have it your way it does beat sleeping on the ground or in trees." looking at the town ahead of us now "it is so small what if it does not have an inn and anyways I have no money to pay for one." looking sheepish "I spent the last of our expenses in the last town we stoped by." glaring at zoks "so what do you suppose we do now."

Zoks didn't say anything and contiued to walk into the town and stoped by a small house. No one was outside and it was just as quiet as the forest itself. Zoks looked over to Shakka and then walked into the house. Inside there was a man leaing in his chair looking up at her. "Ah Zoks.. is there somthing wrong? Your usally only here when... " just then he stop when shakka walked in in shock. "Oh look what the cat draged in....and who is this young lady?"

The man stood up and streached out his hand to her. "I'm lou.. " he then looked to Zoks in thought after shaking shkka's hand. "I guess you can say I raised this young lad here." Zoks looked away with her arms crossed as she leaned against the wall. The man contiued. "so you lookin' for a place to stay ta'night eh?"

Zoks ignored the comment and just stood there with her eyes closed. lou smiled then. "well there's a spare room upstairs... across form that is the guest restroom where you can wash up." He then scratched his head with one hand. "so are ya hungry?"

"no I am fine" Shakka says with a big smile then her stomach rumbles "well actually I am but i can hunt for myself" now heading outside "Zoks are you coming or are you just going to stay here." a look of annoyance clearly showed on shakka's face

Zoks looked at shakka then to lou with a sigh. "I'll come." Before she followed the young lady out the door she turned to lou who was liting up one of his cigs. "Zoks..., be careful alright?" She looked down sadly then left to catch up with shakka. "shakka... it something wrong?"

I dont want to bring inocent people into this OK ..." looking at Zoks now crying "I... used to be an assasin... the childeren of my victoms are after me understand... Zoks watched her break down yet she laughed. "that's it?" she then looked to the village in thought. "Lou has already been in hell... and still is." She then looked to shakka. "you have nothing to worry about.. yoou have nothing that we can't handdle." Zoks gave a grin but this grin was more evil than the rest.
