FuzzyLarryTheLlama Malachite_Dragon Ace5262 "Aww, but you could have just told them it was your pet... this is the age of servents after all." *She says with a shrug, laughing with him and looking around, makeing sure none were in hearing range. "You don't care that I'm a mixed?" "I dont mind. I really dont mind." *he smiles, tilting his head, his eyes meeting hers as they walk* "I've nothing against you or your kind...Why should I hate a people who've done nothing to harm me, and were not responsible for my village vanishing? I dont see the point in wasting energy on racism." *he blinks as the smaller male bumped into him, tilting his head and raising an eyebrow8 "Whoa, there! Whats the rush, whats wrong?" *He blinks again as he saw the hint of blue tail, kneeling down to be more on their level- he was quite tall, after all- tilting his head* "Who might you be?" Ranulf lay on the ground, sweat beading off his forehead as he lay unconcious. Reyson looked over at Kouryou. "I'm terribly sorry about bumping into you...but you see, my friend here is ill, and I was trying to get him to town...we've come far..." he extended his hand. "My name's Reyson, and this here is Ranulf...he'll be much more cheery when he gets better..." Ranulf's eyes rolled opened and he mumbled a "hello." Meanwhile...The shopkeepers looked at Lethe's coin suspiciously. "where did you get that?" the woman asked quietly. Lethe replied, "I found it on the ground during my wanderings..." The shopkeepers looked at her suspiciously, then nodded. "we can buy that off of you...for $1000." the man said with a whisper. Lethe turned to Rai. "what do you think? that money could get us pretty far?" she asked her friend. "Hm...seems our trip out to the mountains will have to be temporarily postponed, my lady. Where is the nearest hospital or hospice here? I fear that I dont know enough of the local flora to be able to make any medicnes from them." *He carefully picked up the half-conscious Ranulf, moving his own clothing to hide the exposed blue tail so that no one would be given away.*

((wait Feo was in the water for 5 yearss *blinks* woah holy s**t feo you deserve a hug. baka how dare you do that to him!))
Artemis blinked and looked down, suddenly unsure if she wanted to come clean and out to those she had once trusted after all these years, she knew there was no way around it but she didn't have to speak her name just yet, she stood next to Kouryou, nodding ready to follow, silently takeing in observations. I could heal him.. but i would become sick with what he has ... I know some herbs that might help but if I speak will they expect me to lead them against Alaster... I admit since I met Kouryou I haven't cared as much about my back plot for revenge... oh what to do...

Reyson blinked and bowed. "Thank you for your assistance, might we know your names?" he asked Kouryou and Artemis. He had not even noticed the familiarity about Artemis' face as he was too concerned with Ranulf's condition. They seem okay with the fact that he's a mixed breed...

Ace5262 ((wait Feo was in the water for 5 yearss *blinks* woah holy s**t feo you deserve a hug. baka how dare you do that to him!)) Artemis blinked and looked down, suddenly unsure if she wanted to come clean and out to those she had once trusted after all these years, she knew there was no way around it but she didn't have to speak her name just yet, she stood next to Kouryou, nodding ready to follow, silently takeing in observations. I could heal him.. but i would become sick with what he has ... I know some herbs that might help but if I speak will they expect me to lead them against Alaster... I admit since I met Kouryou I haven't cared as much about my back plot for revenge... oh what to do... "Kouryou. Callme Kour if you prefer, whichever it is." *he carried the boy easily, heading for the nearest clinic, hospital, hospice- whichever one was nearest their current position, glancing to artemis and smiling a little apologetically- he'd been quite looking forward to going to the mountains with her.*

"I'm Artemis..." She whispers just loud enough for them to hear her name. Realizing that it was foolish to take him to a human doctor. that could ruin everything for all four of the ones who had met by chance in the woods this day. "Wait Kouryou... What are his symptoms other than the fever?" She asks her eyes looking to the one they had once called affectionately Bird-boy."I am skilled in medicine I might be able to help without risking outage to the humans."

All Reyson could do was blink repeatedly before tilting his head to the side. "You said your name was Artemis?" he repeated quietly, somewhat in shock as he suddenly realized that she looked familiar. Reyson turned around and took off his cloak, exposing two large white wings. "If you're who I think you are...do you remember me?" he asked excitedly.
Ranulf squeaked from Kouryou's arms. "A-arte?" he then lolled out of conciousness again...

"*He blinks, then nods- figureing that yes, taking them to a human doctor was like taking a broken toy to a garbageman to have it fixed- it wouldnt do any good, and they'd get in trouble.* "Where should I take him then?" *He blinks, tilting his head, listening to this interlude between the three without interruption*

"Well I'll be able to better tell you once I find out his other Symptoms..." Artemis looked at them and shrugged a bit. "Hey bird boy, hey Ranulf... long time to see..... five years if I'm correct." She looked down a bit, then around to see what herbs were around so she knew what she had to work with.

Reyson immediately glomped his old friend. "it's sooo glad to see that you survived the fire!!!!" he said excitedly. "and as for Ranulf's symptoms, he fell while hunting for some food and has an infected gash across his back...the infection has given him the high fever...I'm afraid I'm at a loss as to what to do..." he said grimly, looking sadly at his only companion from the past 5 years...

"He needs immediate attention, then...if its a gash in the back it could spread to his spinal cord, then to his brain." *He shifted his hands so they werent resting so directly on the wound, blinking as Reyson glomps Artemis* "Friends of yours, Artemis?"

"They were staying at my home when it burned to the ground." She says with a shrug to Kouryou. She gave a gentle hug to the bird boy. "I'm glad to see you guys survived too... I.." She winced slightly at the flashes of memory that came to her from the night blinking dizzily. "Well then we must get something to clear the infection... if that's the case and he has a fever then infection has already started to get to his brain the longer it stays there the more chance it'll be lethal." She gently pulled away and looked to a few plants moving to gather a few plants and a stone to grind it gently to a powder. "Kouryou... I'll need your help... get his shirt off and take him to the stream and make sure its as clean as you can get it... "

" *He nods and does as she says without question or complaint, carrying the boy to the stream and carefully removing his shirt, tearing off a strip of his wn to use as a cloth and gently, carefully washing the wound, making sure to remove dirt and any molecules that shouldnt be in the body in the first place from it, trying not to cause him pain*

Ranulf twitched a little as his wound was washed off, showing some pain, but tolerating it, because he knew it would help him.
Reyson watched off to the side, concerned for his friend..."is there anything I can do to help?" he asked Artemis.

"Yep.... try and find me as much of this blue flower as you can, it'll help with the fever." She says with a slight smile. She a little more at ease as she settled back into taking charge, she was after all the animal decedent, fixing this should be easy compared to other things she'd done in the past. As she smiled a bit, a few light lines around her mouth could be seen where at one point in her wolf form she'd been forced to bite a glass bottle, barley noticeable, her tail swishing a bit from its hiding spot. She kept grinding everything to a fine powder to make a paste to go on the wound. Maybe they wouldn't expect to go back to battle.
Mean while Aysel watched from the tree's grinning a bit. So the animal heir is o longer hiding now to find the mixed breed.
