Slipping through the large double doors, Khaiden looked around quietly. The place smelled old. Really old. But the school was new, wasn't it? Windows high on the large walls sent in streams of light, casting down onto the rough, dull carpet below her feet. In the streaming light dust particles were able to seen by everyone else except her. But she could easily smell the dust collecting on the shelves and in the crevaces between the hard back books. Ears twitched slightly as she took a small step forward. Blessing her ears with the sound of air, it took her a moment to find out where everything was before she felt confident in moving. Soft, deep blue eyes darted from place to another. By her slow, small steps no one would even imagine that she was blind. Delicate fingers traced along the spines of the many books, feeling for an ineresting story. Yes, she felt for interesting clips in the books to find out if they were even worth reading. How could she read if she couldn't even see the words? Easy. She use light manipulation to merge with her pupils. With the dark typing against the crisp, clean pages, she could easily see the words pressed into the paper. Grabbing a thick book from the shelf, she softly stepped over to a nearby chair and sat down quietly, setting the book down on the table before her.

Aruva's long elven ears twitched as he heard the scraping of a chair against the partly wooden floors. He stood up from his blank book and looked for the source of the sound. His glowing green eyes peered around the book shelf as he spotted a female sitting at a table a few feet away. He was about to leave her but felt a good amount of magic drifting off of the girl, "Ample food," he thought to himself drawing his sharp teeth. He walked swiftly yet quietly twords the girl and sat without asking. "May I read your palm miss?" he asked trying to hide his accent as best as he could. A disguise he used quite often to drain many a victims, all he needed was contact, unless they used magic redily then he could tap into it from afar.

Khaiden sat for a moment, staring into the dark mass of the book. Ears twitched slightly, picking up hushed foot steps behind her. It was nearly impossible to sneak up on a neko, so no way on Earth was it possible to sneak up on a blind neko. The air stilled around her felicate frame and acted as if she heard nothing. Looking from the corner of her eye, she could easily feel the air around him shift as he hastily stepped forward. Tensing slightly, she readied herself if need be, always on the alert for surprise attacks or threats. Cats always had to stay on their feet, right? Turning towards him, she looked up at his face. She could see nothing, only an outline as where the air was disturbed. He obviously had an accent, ears twitching slightly at his secretly slurred words. Her black ears wavered for a moment, swiveling against his tone. She then looked down at her palm, a slender finger brushing against it. She gave no effort to speak, only shaking her head softly to decline his offer. She didn't seem to trust him, but then again she didn't seem to trust anyone for that matter.

Aruva looked at her blank expression, deducing she was indeed blind or impaired in some other way. "Come on miss, I can tell you your future, just let me read your palm it won't cost a thing," he said thinking quickly of an excuse to try and sway her to let him do it. "It's for my class you see, I have to read peoples palms and see if I get it right." He sat up in his chair, his mouth almost watering at the thought of fresh magic. So what if that left this girl without a way to see, at least it served his needs.

Khaiden listened to him for a moment, looking down at her palm. She then glanced towards the book, staring into a deep white. She could see nothing except disturbances in the air. Blinking slightly, she adjusted herself as the room got brighter, an open window sending in a draft to confuse her sights. Grabbing the book, she hugged it close to her chest, not even bothering to look up at him. She had almost believed him, but she still didn't trust his tone. She could sense anticipation in his tone, and she never took lightly to it. "What class?" she asked, a brow quirked slightly. She didn't even wait for an answer, pushing back her chair as it quietly skid across the thin layer of carpet covering wood. Keeping the book close to her, she gave an irritant flick of her tail as she stepped off towards another table. She was stubborn, but most of the time she was right.

Aruva was taken aback he had not thought of a name for his make belive class. He say he stand and leave so he to abrutptly got up, gracefullying jumping over the table to follow her. "Miss if you'd please," he said cutting himself off as he reached for her, grasping her arm. In a moment his eye glowed more green and his hair lifted up a few inches as he quickly drained some of her magic power. If he moved quickly he could get all of her power before she had time to scream or fight back.

Khaiden rolled her eyes, leaning froward as she opened the front cover of the book. People around here were so annoying, it was almost unbelievable. But she was prepared for attack, just as she always was. Once he grabbed her arm, she felt her magic draining. Her slight vision blurred into a haze, but she could still tell where she was. Before he could react, she slammed a hand down onto the desk, a loud smack ringing through the library. A bright light flashed between her hand and the desk, quickly rising up to her elbow. She stood, the chair shoved backwards as it tumbled to the floor. Her arm had merged with the wood, forming a sword like extension from her elbow. It was sharpened to the edged where it cut just like metal. She twisted her waist around and swung the new weapon towards his side with a screeching sound emerging from the split air. All of this occured in a matter of seconds. Blink and you might miss it.

Aruva felt her magic being directed to her other arm, the power it brought caused him to take a few steps back. His vampiric link still connected to her and remained to slowly drain her mana away feeding Aruva's craving and giving him stronger powers. His ears drooped at the sound of the blade cutting the air and he bent back ward at the waist but the blade managed to cut his cheek. He fliped his lower half backward and stood once again up right. He kept his left hand at his side, an orb of the cat girls magic filling it up, Aruva's eyes looking at her, hungry for more.
He summoned a small ice protecter at his side, using the girls magic instead of his own. Made of jagged and dense ice it stood up to the middle of Aruva's chest, about 5'9.

"Ah crap!" Luna growled with abit of disgust in her voice. Though she did have to chuckle abit to herself when she heard the fear in Kabraxis voice. It was cute, made him sound like a little boy who wandered away from his mother.

Pushing herself up off the table she went over to a copy machine. Making a copy of the page she needed. folding up the paper she shoved it into her pocket and went back to the shelf. Putting the book back. Kneeling down she picked up her violin case and turned. Her white feline ears laying back abit as she itched the back of her head. Shoving her hand into her pocket as she headed out of the library and to Kabraxis tomb to see what he wanted.

Pushing open the door to the library she let herself inside. Looking left and right November moved threw the rows of books. History...World Culture... none of these looked interesting to her.

Turning her head up November tried to find the Fantasy section. However she was so small she couldn't see. Moving out to one of the many aisles she began to look around. Turning her head left and right. Finally spotting the section she wanted on the far side of the library.

With a slight huff November headed over to the Fantasy Section. Looking around curiously for a good book. "Lets see here...what looks good...Ah hah! Here we go."

Reaching out November grabed a blue, leatherbound book. Stepping over to a table she took a seat and opened it up. Starting to read from the pages of the book.

Cid busted through the door, slightly loud. His fur was frizzied and to the people in the library he probably looked to be a pissed off dog. As a wolf, he walked to a corner and curled himself up, thinking of the past as soon as he reached this destination. 'YOU idiot,' the wolf inside yelled to him. 'Why did you leave that place, you would be fine if you just talked you retard,' the wolf said again as Cid became human and layed against the corner in the back of a bookshelf of darkness. 'Stop with this s**t you imbosile, you are better than this. You have a future, dont sulk on the past and look to it,' he said again with a more yelling voice in Cid's head.

Cid was unstable now. His fire erupted in his corner but only engulfed him in it. The Wolf was lost now, his senses dulling, unconsciousness taking him. Cid was loosing the will to live, the dragons burnning his back so terribly it bled. His heart-rate was slowly dropping, his muscles relaxed. "I just want to.." is all he could say before he colapsed against the corner, dieing steadily. Cid looked to be sleeping to other students passing by. Those who would know him would stop to check for sure but he could be dead by that time.

November jumped abit when she heard the door slam open. Her nerves being shot for the moment she stood up and looked around to see who could have made that noise. Her golden yellow eyes soon spotting something that..wasn't quit right...

Closing the book and standing up November cautiously moved over to the creature slumped against the corner. She moved slowly but knew something was wrong. Quickly stepping closer November knelt down beside him. Slowly reaching out and pressing her hand against his head..he was getting cold and fast.

"Oh my.." Golden eyes went wide as she sat there..he was in bad shape but she wasn't sure how she was going to help him..she had to try and wake him up though, that was the first step.

"Excuse me..."

Cid's hair was shorter from the fire that had earlier engulfed his body. His body was cold as ice almost, his blood was no longer warmed by his blood. The ground and corner were the only thing holding him up now. "Just L-let me die," he somehow managed to say with the little strength he did have left. Trying to move would just be a waist of his last strength.

His eyes were slightly open, but inside they had lost their crimson coloring and looked grey. His hands hand scares from the fire and his clothes were burnt and chared like his legs and his chest, though hidden by most of his torn shirt. The will to live just faded in him steadily. Nothing mattered because the guilt of what he had done hung over his head. "I'd b-be happier m-m-maybe," he added with a sigh.

"No way I can't just sit here and watch someone die! I've seen to many of that and I'm not going to see it again. Um..just hold on. I'll be right back." November stood up and turned rushing out of the library.

She knew there had to be an office with medical supplies around somewhere. All she had to do was find it and get the basics, just enough to stop the bleeding and assist him back there. As it was, it didn't seem like the poor guy would last much longer.
