"Buddy?" She turned around and seen a small dragon on the table and jumped a bit letting out a scream of surprise. "Where did you get it?"

*the dragon leaned over to smash and nuzzled his shoulder a bit as he petted him*
this little guy was getting attacked by those night fiends. i got him away from them and he's been following me ever since.

"Well, that's sweet and all, but aren't you the least bit worried what it'll be like when it's older? Remember all the other dragon problems you had?" Mari thought it was cute, but still. The fact remained that he had been attacked by them before, though.

i'm not too worried. this lil guy wouldn't hurt a fly. isn't that right?
*he lifted it up and the dragon let out a small sound show it was happy*

"Okay. If you insist." She turned back around and decided to get some porkchops out of the freezer and cook those. She cut one in half for the small dragon and put all of them in the skillet and started cooking them. She still didn't see the cut on his arm because all the times, it was out of her view.

She kept her back towards them both as she was fixing dinner. "I don't know... What sounds like a good name for a dragon?"

"Kain? Hmm... Sounds too tough for something so cute." She smiled and finished dinner. Putting it on plates, she sit one infront of him and the smaller piece infront of the dragon. Taking a seat across the table from Matt herself.

Mari took a bite from hers and looked down at the dragon getting a look at him. "Hmm... I like the name Odin. Doesn't sound too fierce, yet it is." She smiled at it. She tought it was one of the cutest things she ever seen.

"I wonder if it's a vocal dragon. You know. One that will eventually talk when it gets older. Some dragons are like that." Mari took another bite of her dinner and kept eating.

*odin then turned around and walked across the table and looked up at mari. he looked a bit nervous but he let out a soft noise for attention*

She hadn't finished eating yet, but she didn't care. She picked up the baby dragon in her hands and held it if it was like a baby. "You are so adorable!" was all she said and she started to tickle at it's belly watching it laugh and squirm in her arms.
