Music quoting time again, yay!
Bad Religion - New America
Do you know the cost of future misery? Have you lost your sense of sustainability? We are just a step away From realizing what we strive to be But weve got to break out From this insulated, blind and lame senility Wake up the new america wo-oh! Transcend the mass hysteria wo-oh! Change is the thing youre wary of wo-oh! We need a new america wo-oh! Laurels, human triumph Bestowments from the past Victories dont mean a thing If they dont last We are just marching toward extinction With blinders on our eyes Jeopardizing everything Weve learned and come to realize You call that wise? Open your eyes america wo-oh! See through the lies they tell to us wo-oh! Confront the fears that worry us wo-oh! We need a new america wo-oh! We dont have to be afraid to re-invent Weve got to start to build Progress and implement For when we take our fill And never pay the price We only build ourselves A fleeting, false paradise You can live in staunch denial And mark me as your enemy But Im just a voice among the throng Who want a brighter destiny They say with me We are the new america wo-oh! This is the new america? wo-oh

*giggles and swishes his tail, snugglin' da batty s'more* Yush. Bad Religion rawks. XP Their music isn't -always- so good, but the lyrics actually have a POINT to them most of the time besides rambling about love all the time, like most other bands. >>
Eep! XP Guess we both need to go job huntin' then, hehe..... =p

Merf.... >_> Indeed, teen stereotypes aqre very aggravating. Adults never take you the slightest bit seriously. Knat OHOH. I know one. "I am quiet, wear black nail polish, laugh funny, and hold my hands in 'odd' positions. I must be a witch!" I hate/hated my grade 7 class. evil
Rawr >< *hugglepets Fuhfu*Darien_Thread *giggles and snuggles on* Yeah, it is rare now for people to put meaning into there music insted of just the same stuff over and over agian with words that never make any since stare *chews on your arm softly* Yush, you need to get a job so you can move out and we can hang out together with out your parants freaking out about "The creepy guy trying to turn you gay....er" whee @ John and Knat - once you get past the 10th grade all the stariotype crap goes out the window. i gusse people finaly fugier out it is all BS XD
Indeed. Whatever happened to political/protest music? It can rock just as much, if not moreso, than any other music... >> As a hippy-foxie, I demand more of that kind of music! XD
*gigglefits and tickles da batty* How many times do I have to tell ya I'm not gay? XP ...I'm bi, d'urr. But yeah.... I can see my parents jump to conclusions. Especially if they caught me snugglin' one of my best MALE buddies. >> I also reeeeeaaaallly wanna go to Canada and yoink Kimmy down here too though. << *pounces da Kimmyness*
