Comments: I've attempted this before and it took forever. Why I decided to do her a second time I have no idea. Her style is so pleasing to look at. I have been swamped with work the last few days and this was honestly pretty relaxing and a good way to wind down. I only did the lineart and am saving the coloring for another challenge/makeup day. If anyone wants the full res lineart for anything hit me up (´｡• ᵕ •｡`) ♡

Comments: I clearly remember how proud I was of the original drawing, so I wanted to redraw it to see how I've changed/improved ^^ it's still a WIP so I'll continue working on it during the event!

Day # 16 Theme: Medium Challenge: Ink Time spent: 1.5 hours for drawing, 30 minutes grinding ink
Comments: I forgot how long and tedious grinding ink is. I have forgotten how to do wings, it has been far too long since the last time I picked up a brush. I failed to get the right consistency as it did spread on the rice paper. I still had a lot of fun getting back into this and did some calligraphy practice, which is not pictured here because they were bad. To keep my privacy, I did a drawn hanko suitable for this account (猫 , neko).

Day #: 21 Theme: Colour Challenge: Monochrome Red Time spent: 50mins
Comments: So I didn't use all the markers as most are too similar! Used this as an idea. Also somehow mixed up use all your red art supplies with the theme! Whoops. Would've made more sense to just use 3-4 red tones!

Oh wow is that is a lot of different shades of red you own . This would be really cool on a long canvas on a wall in a creepy corner of a cabin hahah.
Day #: 22 Theme: Spirit Challenge: Draw an emote for the discord server Time spent: 15mins
Comments: trying to think up what to draw that isn't animated as I didn't want to try & find my tablet & pen! On the other hand, anyone else remember the old msn messenger emojis? Including the fox ones! lol
They're all so cute! * o* I.. don't. Are there any good equivalents today or are those fox ones super unique? I had dial-up internet for way too long. By the time I had faster internet... I had a phone that could text. XD So I missed out on the chats from back in the day > < (Couldn't hang out on messenger since the internet blocked the home phone line)
Sorry for being MIA, had two projects with hard deadlines dumped on me and a couple of commissions to finish up. I know I am on easy mode by default, am I allowed to still do makeup days? Do I just make separate posts for them when I do them or do I make posts ahead of time with the intended theme? Just wanted to make sure!
Although I haven't been posting, I have been looking through everyone's daily art and it has been such a nice pasttime seeing all the amazing and unique art everyone has. It has become a nice end to my day every day before bed. ( • ᵕ • ) ♡

What you’re describing are “placeholder posts” and the rules have changed to not allow those this year. Buuut you can still make up the art! You’d just still chronologically call each post day 1, 2, 3, etc., in order, no matter which prompt you drew (like, if your last post was day 10, your next post can be day 11, no matter if the event is on day 15, no matter what you drew)
And if you do multiple drawings, you’re allowed to post multiple in a day to catch up. Make separate posts for each. Just to catch up to the current day. Just no posting ahead. c: And if you want to skip some of the days to catch up, but still get credit for having 100 submissions at the end, it never hurts to use a few spirit passes.
If what I wrote doesn’t make sense, I can try explaining it with examples later. (:

I replied from my phone earlier. Now I'm on my laptop and it's easier to link to stuff. The "Themes" Post (4th post) on the first page of this thread links to this event's google sheet. You can use it to help track which art has been checked off towards the event
You were excused for those days since you let the mods know that you were sorting out the computer issues. So you don't have to make up the art if you don't want to.
You can still draw for those days if you want, though. Since you've been checked off for all the posts you've made, don't edit any existing posts. So, because it's more important not to change the days on the existing posts... your thread would just have some days out of order. c:
... This method of renumbering your days to keep your thread in chronological order just makes it easier for the mods to check off the spreadsheet. XD So if you want to make up those days, it would be helpful if you numbered your next several submissions days 14-19, but it's not really necessary. You'll still get credit whenever you post them. edit; I wasn't thinking when I wrote the above statement. You're in normal mode. (I was thinking of easy mode) You must post the current day's art each day. So make sure you still do that. Just post those days and submit them as you make them, alongside each day's current post.
