Edmund deiced not to say much more about Selene as it seems that he was upsetting Judge more and he knew that Judge could take out his whole team right now and himself for that matter. 'Not that I can blame him though. Oh, are you sure that her claws aren't already in you Dreadnought? I already know more than you might think. I'll know more after I watch that video of the two of you later...' He thought to himself before a yawn escaped his lips.
Edmund listened to what Sly said about Tapu Fini." I have been here multiple times and know that. I've seen the Totem Kommo-o fight during one trail. I was impressed with it. Stronger that the ones back home in Galar, that's for sure." He said as he thought about the fact that Tapu Fini came to help the Totem Pokemon." That is one way we can try to bring her out later in order to catch her. I wished I could have been here to see Judge take out the Totem Kommo-o."Edmund said as he did mean that.
"I wonder, where did Tapu Fini take the Totem Kommo-o? Is she known to taken wounded Pokemon back to whoever is the current Kahuna when the Totem Pokemon is taken out? " Edmund questioned Sly since the male would or should have a better idea than him, since Edmund only been on the island for three months while Sly was raised here.'Would Tapu Fini help her current kahuna if he was in trouble or one of his family members? ' He thought to himself and wasn't going to voice that question aloud with Judge is still out.

"I haven't heard of it happening." Merrimack answered Harrison's question. "That'd be another question for your 'partner' - the Kahuna's little sister. Unless you've blown your cover, she'll probably tell you without having to 'romance' her." Sly added, teasing the other man for his earlier comment before adding "But if want to anyway, go ahead. I'll send flowers to your funeral."

Edmund smirked slightly at his comments about 'romancing' Selene. " I'll ask her about that later. Heh, I'm not going to blow my cover so easily. I'm more concern about your partner blowing her cover if she decided to enter the pokemon contests. I know that she has a history with Selene in Kalos. Selene is one of the judges for this season and I have a feeling that Monitor might try something to get back at the woman. The fact that Monitor let Meloetta slip through her fingers like that.... Then again Selene is formidable opponent though. After seeing how she did in her battle against some poachers last week, I can see why Monitor had trouble with her back then." He said as he had been impressed with that battle.

"Keeping Monitor away from Pokémon Contests is like keeping a Diglett away from dirt." Merrimack said, though he smirked as he added, "But she knows where she stands regarding Selene." Sly had used her failure to capture Meloetta to get Monitor pulled from Kalos, so she couldn't harass Selene any longer. She'd better not try anything now. "But since you bring it up, I think if you don't want to let Tapu Fini 'slip through your fingers' like Meloetta we'd all better just steer clear of that little girl. Running into her today reminded me exactly why I never wanted to come back here."

Edmund had a feeling that Monitor would be getting into the contests. A frustrated sigh escaped his lips about that. "Did you outed your own partner? I bet that was fun to cull her in to a certain degree if you had done that. I'll be counting on you to keep her in check at any of the contests she goes to to make sure that she doesn't try to do anything to my ranger 'partner'." He said to him, as they didn't need Monitor to cause any issues that might reveal to everyone that Team Rock was present in Alola now.
Edmund did take what he said about Selene seriously as he knew what her views on Team Rocket were and would turn him in a heart beat if she knew he was a part of it. 'She isn't just a little Litten anymore Sly. She's a freakin Incineroar when she wants to be! Glad I hadn't faced her wrath directly as of yet... Or her round about kick to the face...' He thought with a calm look on his face. 'Not planning to let her do so but thanks to him confirming that Judge was the same Judge that used to belong to Selene, I have a weakness of hers in a way. Our own Dreadnought Sly Merrimack, how fun are the sisters of fates are to give this drama to play out in front of me. Depending what I see on that video later, Selene may be his weakness..... Only time will tell. ' Edmund thought before looking back at Sly as he was ready to watch that video footage.
"As for keeping my cover, I'll need to head out soon to check on other parts of the island before it gets any later. Is there anything else that needs to be discussed or mentioned about before I go? " Edmund said and asked Sly before taking a drink of water from his bottle..

"Nah, I got nothing else." Merrimack said. "Guess I'll just return to base and see if we can come up with a plan of attack." He was more eager than ever to finish their job quickly. "Ideally we bag Tapu Fini while your 'partner' is sidelined. We've got a lot more freedom to move while she is, so it'd be a shame to waste the chance." He went on, hoping Selene would be safely out of the way until Team Rocket's forces had moved on.

Plans, hm? Yes, Hazel thought, plans are something a person like me should have. Yet work had been slow. You give the kids the Pokédex and they send you information. If they don't send you information, then, well, sure there were things to do, just not as much. Not as much indeed. It wasn't that the kids didn't send data, just, a lot of them were growing up, moving on, and the data was slower to come through. Frankly, a lot of the kids just weren't kids anymore. For the most part, they couldn't stay ten forever. If Hazel had been a more traditional Professor then perhaps she could have a larger base to research, but she didn't want to join an office. There were, issues, there.
The thought train carried on as she awkwardly stood for a moment too long, silently, like a cat staring at a spot on the wall. Her eyes moved back to Selene and her brother. Hazel smiled placidly, "No plans tonight. I'll join you at Kahiau's home when the sun starts going down then, hm?"

Dan and his Pokemon continued to listen in on the conversation between the two Team Rocket members. They talked about Kahiau's sister, Selene, and then about Tapu Fini. Dan realized that this must be that Pokemon who had come to rescue the head Kommo-o. That was a legendary? Dan felt excited to have seen it and wondered if he could find that Pokemon again. Maybe he would go looking for her sometime, but right now he had plenty else to occupy his mind. The two men were discussing capturing her, for one thing! Perhaps Dan should find Tapu Fini and warn her himself. Or he could go to the authorities. Nah, he was not going to go to the authorities. Perhaps he should at least tell Kahiau? He would have to think about that. Maybe it would be best to stay quiet for now and see if he could learn even more of Team Rocket's plans. Now they were talking about some woman named Monitor who was also a part of Team Rocket but liked to do contests. The conversation came back around to their plan to capture Tapu Fini. It seemed the two men were about to part ways for now.
Location: Vast Poni Canyon, spying on Sly and Edmund. Wearing/Possessions: Dark blue shirt, dark blue jeans, black sneakers with white trim, small black pouch of supplies.
As they waited for an answer from the professor, Selene's left hand went up to touch the moon spirit fish charm. The clasp to the necklace had come down to the front and next to the charm. 'Someone is talking about me then, if that old wives tale is true. Wouldn't be surprised if it was Sly talking to Judge about what happened this morning with us. I love him but hate him too.... I wished that I could get over that jerk.. He's not worth it and I can find someone better than him... Yet I'm afraid that my heart has chosen him...'Selene thought with a sigh escaping her lips, not knowing that Sly was talking about her to Edmund at the trail site.
There was a slight frown on her face as she looked in the direction of the Vast Poni Canyon. Something felt off in the canyon and didn't know what has caused it. She got off of Cœur D'or and began walking towards it."Something isn't right in the canyon. Close to or at the trail site." She managed to say before Professor Hazel gave her answer about tonight's get together.
Kahiau was starting to have a feeling that something was off about the island before Selene said it aloud. She was usually right about that, seems that his little sister was sensitive to what's going on with the island.'It seems since she been living in the canyon, Selene's more in tune with the island somehow. A part of me wonders if Tapu Fini should have picked her over me... Then again, she was only five years old when Tutu Wahine* died....' He thought to himself as he went over to the front door of his place to unlock the door. He opened the door wide open before walking back towards Selene.
"Yes, between seven and seven thirty tonight. If you want to, bring a snack to share with everyone."Kahiau said looking over at Professor Hazel.Then he looked at his sister,and she was leaning against a palm tree while looking towards the canyon. "I'll go and check it out once you are inside and resting little Pyroar. If your fever was already gone, maybe I would take you with me.Yet, you need to rest now whether you have a fever or not." He said to Selene, walking over to her and picking her up bridal style.
"Alright Chelours**... What the?! You didn't have to pick me up Kahiau! I wasn't planning to try to sneak off to the canyon..." Selene said even thought she had been thinking about it. 'It had crossed my mind to do so but hadn't acted on it yet though and knowing my brother, he might ask Professor Hazel to stay with me for a little while.... To make sure that I don't do that...' She thought with a sigh as he began walking towards the house.

All Edmund could hear from Sly from this whole conservation was to finish this job this week before Selene goes back on duty... .'Which to me, sounds like he has more than one reason to get this job done so soon. We're not on a major deadline yet to get this done and I'm not going to rush it due to Merrimack's impatience. Makes me want to make this take even longer so we have to deal with Selene being on duty... Well, Marguerite will be coming here next week with most of her lab stuff but some of it coming this week.'
" True, that would be ideal but we're not on a set dead line as of yet though. Speaking of the base, some of Margurite's lab equipment will be arriving this week. So make sure that there's an area ready for her equipment. Also that there's plenty of room for it as well. She'll be arriving next Monday at the latest and the earliest, this Friday." Edmund said and wondered how he was going to take the news of her coming. He knew that the two cousins didn't get along that well.
"We also want to add more Alolan pokemon to our collective pool of Pokemon so don't forget about doing that as well. " Edmund said as he got up from rock that he had been sitting on."Time for me to head on though... Good-bye Merrimack," he said before leaving the man there at the trail site and wondering why Selene might have cared for Sly...
"Seven," Hazel repeated with a nod as Kahiau walked ahead with Selene. "I can come back at seven, yes." And she could also avoid the canyon. She could, and she would. It just didn't seem wise. Now there surely were the rare professors here and there around the world who would jump into the opportunity to follow a rumor, but that wasn't Hazel. Danger wasn't interesting, it wasn't fun and Hazel wasn't going to seek it out. She turned about and headed up the trail pondering her life choices. Then she pondered her lunch choices. "Whimsicott?" The little ball of cotton on top of Hazel trilled and squeaked. "Sandwich maybe?" Another trill and a squeak. "With jam?" And another squeak. "Ha ha," said Hazel, "I don't know what you're saying." None the less, she went to town to get a sandwich with jam.

Dreadnought Sly Merrimack

"Nature's Madness. Why does Harrison have to make a whole production out of this operation!?" With Edmund gone, Merrimack was making his way back to his hot air balloon, not at all pleased with how their conversation had ended. "He's just dragging it out. And he's bringing Margurite into this too!? We don't need that little Lab Rattata or her equipment! If it was up to me, I'd just face off with Tapu Fini and--" Merrimack's thoughts trailed off as the Guardian Deity's chilling gaze shot through his mind and the feeling of fear rose in his chest.
"ARRRG! DEATH SENTENCE, GO!" The Team Rocket member called, throwing a Dusk Ball. The Shadow Aggron appeared in a burst of smoke and flame and gave a savage roar as it's dark aura raged. "Use Head Smash!" Merrimack commanded. "Right here." He added, hooking a thumb at himself. Death Sentence responded without hesitation. A piercing blue light burst from his horns as the Rock-type charged headlong at his trainer.
When Sly first met Death Sentence, the Shadow Pokémon was still just an Aron. Despite being in it's basic form, the Shadow Aron defeated Sly's Mega Evolved Judge, earning his nickname and leaving Merrimack with a deep-rooted fear of Shadow Pokémon he'd worked long and hard to overcome. To do so, Merrimack had trained Death Sentence to be one of the strongest Pokémon in Team Rocket, and the trainer knew exactly what this Pokémon was capable of. "Stop NOW!" Merrimack ordered as the Iron Armor Pokémon approached. Aggron dug his feet into the ground, sliding to a halt inches from Sly's face. Merrimack stared unflinching into Death Sentence's vicious red eyes. "We've beaten International Police Agents, Pokémon G Men, Champions, Mega Pokémon, and even an Ultra Beast." The Team Rocket Enforcer recalled some of the things he'd accomplished with his Shadow Pokémon. "We're not gonna let some Island Guardian that hides in mist beat us are we?" The Shadow Aggron roared again in reply. "I didn't think so." Merrimack smirked. "Now return." He said, putting Death Sentence back in his Dusk Ball.

"See you then Professor Hazel. Have a great day until we meet again." Selene said back to the woman as she began to leave the presence of the siblings. A sigh escaped her lips as Selene wanted her brother to set her down. 'It would be one thing if it had been my ankle or leg was injured but it was my wrist that is injured.' Selene thought before speaking to Kahiau this time.
"Chelours*, you can set me down now. It wasn't my ankle or leg that was injured. I can walk on my own power you know." She said as they reached the front door of his house. Yet Kahiau didn't put her down until they were inside and in the living room area.
"Good bye Professor Hazel."Kahiau said before she was out of hearing range and then focus his attention on Selene. "I know but let me spoil you some alright?"He said more as a statement than question. He carried her into the house and set her down on her feet in the living room before speaking again. "So are you going to be fine here until I get back from checking out the trial site?" Kahiau asked his sister, knowing that she was able to take care of herself but he still worries about his little sister, considering what she has gone through already.
"Yes Kahiau, I'll be fine here. Take my ranger bag with you on the the off chance you run into trouble of some sort. If you use anything from the first aid kits, please write down what you use for record purposes." Selene said as she went into his kitchen and got some saltine crackers out of one of the cabinets. Then she got a sixteen ounce ginger ale out of the fridge."I'll text Estelle and Dea about tonight once I get comfortable in the guest room. I'm hoping to get a nap in before the group gets together but we'll see." Selene said to her her brother as she came out of the kitchen and back into the living room.
"Alright, and thanks in advance."Kahiau said about the use of her ranger bag. It has crossed his mind to make his own version of her ranger bag but hadn't yet. When she mention Dea, he didn't realize that the two knew each other well enough for this but he didn't say anything about it. "I'll set up the ramp for Dea once I get back from checking out the canyon. If you need anything, call me or the folks as they are nearby." He said before taking Selene's backpack from her and put it on one of his shoulders.
"Be careful Kahiau," Selene said as she remembered what Sly said about the rangers need to be ready for trouble.....'Please, please let it not be what I think Sly was saying, implying....' She thought as she paled as the words struck home. Selene could only hope that her nap, if she was able to take one, would be a dreamless and no nightmares...... "See you later big brother." She said before heading to his guest bedroom and closing the door behind her to end the conversation with her brother.
After setting the ginger ale and saltines on the bedside table, she pulled her phone out to text both Dea and Estelle. She laid on the bed, writing a text to Dea first and mentioned about wanting her to look over Hibiscus at the party due what happen during the battle with Sly today. Then she began writing a text to Estelle.'Oh how I wished that you and Elio were already back here in Alola...' Selene thought before send the text to Estelle.
Estelle, I need you have here tonight if possible. He's back, after all this time. Come to my brother's house by 7pm if possible. I'm going to need your support. Plan to stay the night and bring booze. Please come sooner if you can my dear friend. I know it will hard to pull Elio away from the Crown Tundra but tell him that Sly has arrived back in Alola and that I need you here asap. ~ Selene
She didn't know when Estelle would be able to respond back to her text but knew her friend would so as soon as it was possible for her to. Selene took a sip of her ginger ale before she began to nod off and fell asleep on the bed. Hopefully the young ranger would be able to get some rest before the others come later tonight. Hibiscus and Po came out of their balls and cuddled with the sleeping Selene.

"WOO! That was some battle. That big Charizard-head guy really put up a fight. Way to go, Charlemagne!" Elio said, reaching a hand toward his Charizard, Charlemagne. The Fire-type snorted proudly and met his trainer's gesture with a high five - or high three, in the Charizard's case. "I'm just glad we made it out of that safely." Estelle said sinking to her knees and squeezing Vega, her Clefairy. "What's the matter, Estelle, scared?" came the teasing, telepathic voice of Elio's Meowstic, Chatty. "Says the Pokémon who was cowering in his Pokéball the whole time!" the girl shot back. "Huh?" she said when her phone sounded a notification. "Oh my Tapu!" Estelle exclaimed after reading Selene's message. "Elio, we need to get back to Alola, today." "What? All of a sudden? It's so far, no way we'll get there that fast." The male trainer answered. "We can get there in no time, we just need Porter to take us with his Alakazam." Estelle said. "Nope, no way. You know what teleporting does to my stomach." Elio replied, feeling knots in his stomach at the very thought. "Yeah, he blows chunks everywhere! You must be really tired of freezing your big butt off, huh, Estelle?" Chatty teased again. Ignoring the Meowstic's remarks, Estelle took Elio's hands and pleaded, "It's Selene. I don't know the details, but Sly's back." For a moment no one said anything, then Elio gently answered. "Ok. Tell Selene we'll be there." Estelle smiled, and got ready to call Porter, but not before texting her friend, I'll be there. Love you, girl.
Kahiau watched as his sister went into the guest bedroom and closed the door behind her. A frustrated sigh escaped his lips but he didn't try to talk to her more once she closed the door. 'If only ... Yet I can't help her with everything but some things she has to figure things on her own.' He thought to himself as he made sure her had the ranger bag on his back. The kahuna went out the front door and locked it up behind him.
Then Kahiau made his way towards the canyon with some troubling thoughts of his own. He keep his eyes out for trouble though and so far, nothing out of the ordinary as he began his way into the canyon. It almost seemed if he and Selene had imagined it but the fact that she had pinpointed to the trial site area was concerning.... It would still take him awhile to get to the site, so if anyone that was still there would have some time to clear out before Kahiau could get there.
