Shadow glanced over, then smirked slightly and quite calmly took a bunch of her Repels and shoved them into her hands; Oak had mentioned in passing that Mt. Moon was full of Zubats (and the occasional Clefairy... mostly Zubats, though). "There, you're ready," was the matter-of-fact reply, Shadow firmly clamping down on the blush that threatened to rise at the very sight of Trinity's face. He'd had some, ah, mature dreams about her last night.
Big Brother - Shadow has become protective of a Pokémon or person, viewing them as a younger sibling. Trauma and Restraint checks may get bonuses or penalties if said Pokémon or person is involved. Certain checks may even be passed or failed automatically. Current Siblings - Torch the Torchic, Saph the Squirtle
Telepathic Communication: Shadow is capable of communicating with others via telepathy. Should Trust drop below 25, Affection drop below 0, or Trauma rise above 100, he will stop using this ability until the offending stat is corrected.
Stable Aura: Shadow's Aura no longer induces fear in Pokémon, and fellow Dark-types will now automatically view him as a friend, if not borderline worship him. Should Trauma rise above 80, this perk will be lost until it lowers back to 80.
Aura Arsenal (Sub-Perk of Stable Aura): Due to his Aura's new stability, Shadow is now capable of manipulating his Aura, creating Aura-based attacks that do not take up moveslots. Should Stable Aura be lost or otherwise made void, this perk will be disabled as well. Techniques: - Aura Flare: Shadow flares his aura, dispelling binding/anti-escape moves (Bind, Whirlpool, Mean Look, etc.) and knocking away nearby opponents. Direct damage is negligible, however.

"You are amazing, Shadow." Trinity said taking the repels. "I think it's time to go." She said to the group. Torch and Saph cheered as they were returned in to their pokeballs. Trinity looked at Shadow, "Ready to go?" She asked smiling at the fighting type. The trainer walked easily to the cave. She didn't bat an eye at the trainers that challenged her. Jet and Torch took them on and won. In the cave, Trinity eyed her surroundings. She could feel the Zubats eyeing her.

Shadow allowed himself a small smirk as he nodded in reply to Trinity's question and followed her, his expression indicating that, yes, he knew he was awesome. Once in the cave, he glanced around warily, similarly feeling the Zubat around them. It was at that point that faint voices echoed through the cave, Shadow's acute hearing picking up on it... and he did not like what he heard. "...get these Fossils back to base..." "...can't afford any more failures, especially after Experiment DH-448 was busted out..." Shadow's head snapped in the direction of the voices, and he snarled, eyes narrowing. (Restraint Check! Fortunately, Shadow managed to keep a lid on his temper this time (albeit barely), though his eyes were filled with barely suppressed rage and hatred as he spoke, his eyes not leaving the direction he heard the voices coming from. "Team Rocket is here," he told his trainer; even his "voice" had a growl to it.

Trinity noticed Shadow react like he did a couple days ago. She bit her lower lip before doing what she promised. She said, "Ok lead the way." She trusted him to lead her there and they could deal with this together. The trainer looked at the Team Rocket Grunts with distain, "You better stop what you are doing right now." She said blankly, "Shadow, here would just love to beat you down." She said
Shadow led Trinity to a rather large cavern where, sure enough, several Team Rocket grunts were busy gathering fossils; they froze, seeing Trinity and Shadow, before the leader of the group barked out, "Quit gawking and attack - try to get the experiment back if you can. I'll get the fossils back to base!" he snapped before grabbing the bag of fossils and running off. Shadow made to run after the man, but before he could, the other Grunts swarmed the place with lots and lots of Zubat and Rattata. "This here is an excellent example of why I prefer to skip the talk and go straight to the a**-kicking," the black Lucario noted dryly, smacking away several Rattata that tried to attack himself and Trinity before Metal Claw'ing several Zubat that got too close. Still, he had a lock on the leader's Aura now - he could track down the man after they'd gotten rid of the rabble.

Trinity rolled her eyes muttering to herself, "Everyone is a critic." She said right before letting out the rest of the team. "Jet, Fury attack; Aster, Horn Attack; Saph, Bubble and Torch, Ember!" She commanded before running in between the fighting. She fought the Team Rocket Grunts. She punched out a lot of them seeing as they were weak underlings. Once, they took them out, Trinity returned her team and looked to Shadow to lead her to the leader. "You have my promise to knock him out." She said as she tied up the grunts. She called in the Poke Police and told the coordinates for the tied up Grunts then continued to follow Shadow.
(stare ...I kind of had something drastically different in mind for the leader, hence why I tried to have him escape instead of joining the rest in a fight... Whatever, I guess I can work with this... crying)
Shadow led his Trainer through the rest of the cave, soon reaching the exit... only for him to tense as he heard a strangely girlish scream. Shadow blinked, then hurried outside to see an interesting sight: an Aerodactyl of all things several dozen feet in the air, its talons wrapped around the (upside-down leg of a Rocket member they'd apparently missed, shaking the man roughly like a rag doll the whole time, screeching at its captive in obvious rage every so often. The grunt just kept screaming and yelping, soon spotting the trainer and the Lucario on the ground. "Please, HELP! This thing's gonna kill me at this rate!" he called to them desperately.

((Sorry crying))
Trinity looked unsure, "Shadow, should we help he?" She asked her Pokémon. She didn't want him to die but he was an evil person.
Shadow tilted his head slightly as the Aerodactyl screeched again, the Lucario hearing hints of Pokéspeech in its cries. After a moment more of listening, he answered the two (well, it was more that he didn't care enough about the grunt's presence to exclude him from the talk). "Actually, I don't think we're witnessing a murder... I think we just stumbled across an interrogation with a very agitated interrogator. Something about... the location of He-Who-Awakens-The-Ancient-Remains? It's kind of hard to understand him, since half of that screeching is actual angry screeching and he doesn't have very good grammar... still, I think this fellow's on a rescue mission," he noted, listening as the Aerodactyl kept screeching. The grunt's eyes widened, recognition dawning, and he quickly fumbled for his pockets, pulling out a map and a strange keycard; the Aerodactyl attempted to grab at them with its free claw, but due to the lack of thumbs, they ended up floating down to Trinity instead.

"Hey, big guy, put down the grunt. I think we can work together to get your um Ancient thing?" Trinity asked as she looked down to the map. She then looked at Shadow, "Can you knock out that guy? I'll tie him up before we continue this rescue." She said. Trinity was thinking to herself, 'Why didn't I become a Poke Ranger?' She thought studying the map.
The Aerodactyl complied, bringing the grunt back down to ground level and dropping him. Before the grunt could get to his feet, Shadow knocked him out with a Power-Up Punch, then turned to his trainer to examine the map with her. Fortunately, the map was a rather simple map of the area, with an X marked nearby their location that was no doubt meant to represent the base they were looking for.

Trinity was then leading the way following the directions on the map. "Keep an eye out you two." She commanded. She was worried they will be too late.
The two complied, the Aerodactyl flying a few feet above the ground as it followed them. Soon they reached the spot on the map... which seemed to be a rock wall, causing the Aerodactyl to screech in anger and frustration. Shadow, however, frowned slightly and peered at a nearby rock, seeming to study it intently. After a moment, he plucked the keycard from his crush's hands and slipped it into a slot at the top of the "rock"; there was a beep, and Shadow slid it back out, even as the so-called "rock wall" slid open with a rumble, revealing a set of steps heading underground.

"Way to go, Shadow." Trinity said walking down the stairs of the cave. She looked around the underground. She was a little unsure doing this. She grabbed on to Shadow's paw for security.
Naturally, Shadow turned a little pink at the feel of her hand in his paw. but nevertheless gave the appendage in question a comforting little squeeze as they headed down. The Aerodactyl cocked his head slightly to one side as it followed, smelling the pheromones wafting off He-Who-Radiated-Shadows and She-With-The-Head-Cloth-Thing; were they mates? Meh, whatever, it wasn't his business - he had to save He-Who-Awakens-The-Ancient-Remains. Soon the stairs opened out into a rather expansive room, with a total of 20 different hallways. Shadow got lost just looking at them, the Lucario staring blankly and not having the slightest clue which way to go. Judging from how frustrated the Aerodactyl was starting to get (again), it didn't know where to go either, and it gave another angry, incoherent screech - Shadow was starting to get the impression that it could be a little short-tempered.
