*Nick nodded.*
"Well that is surprising......I had no idea there was an Galactic series, then again until a few moments ago I didn't know that baseball has become an intergalactic pasttime."

"Well I suppose that is reasonable. The other galaxies probrably haven't had the same exposure to baseball as your's has."

Well, they only other galaxy we know of is the Milky Way Galaxy. And only Earth and Mars colony play baseball.
Anyways...we are now over the main farms for producing the food. They produce millions of pounds of food a standard week. Then again, we have about 100,000 people on this ship.

*Nick did his best to hold back the expression of amazement on his face, and he did so successfully. So before he spoke he cleared his throat to help him regain his calm expression.*
"Are they military specialist or are some of them civilians?"

Due to overcrowding on some of our worlds, we do have civilians on the ship. Mostly though, the ship's population is made up of ship crew, soldiers, mechanics, and inner repair crews. In essesence, one shift of shipwork needs about 30,000 or so men to run this ship. Figure if you have two shifts, that's 60,000 right there, give or take a few. Then you have about 10,000 civilians. And the rest is made up of vendors and repair crew as well as farmers and the like.

"That sounds reasonable. Especially since you are an empire and not just a military force and once you account for the size of the ship it is fairly logical to need a crew of that size. I'm also guessing that this ship is in space for an indefinite amount of time which would account for the farms and the civilians needed to work them."

A ship this large couldn't land on a planet, unless it was gigantic. So, this ship is indefinatly in space.

Well, we use many different types of energy cannons. We also use plasma weapons and missiles. I guess I'll start with the energy weapons.
It uses near to three hundred anti-capital weapons. Your basic ship-to-ship weapons. It has one hundred anti-starfighter weapons. It also has several beam cannons which fire a highly concentrated laser pulse. It has fourty to fifty ion cannons, which deliver an electromagnetic pulse. Want me to continue?
*She realizes she is probably boring her companion.*

*Nick was thinking about the weapon systems the ship possessed.*
"That is a very-impressive arsenal you have. No, you don't need to continue if don't want to. I was just trying to get a basic understanding of your civilization's weapon technology."
