Veil nods wearily. "I apologize. However, I was not joking when I said I can't stand." He smiles tiredly, trying for humor.
Sera looks up at the sky, noting the predawn colors. 'I need to eat... and soon.' She uncurls herself from the spot she chose for a nap then stretches and heads for the open plains. Keeping her eyes open for anything that might set her off, she carefully pokes her head out of the trees. 'So far, so good. Now, to find food.'

Stormy let out a sigh and got her temper in check and calmly replied " So do you want to go with my plan and wait till nightfall or do you want to go on your own?"

Veil looks at her sadly. "I want my friend back. I need her, more than you will ever know."
Sera pads out carefully into the dawn. Putting her nose to the ground, she searches for food, but can't find a trail. 'Dang it, I let others spoil me so much, I can't find anything! Well, if the food would just come to me, like it normally does, that would be nice too... Nothing has come near me though, not since I left the pack.' She shakes out her fur then puts her nose to the ground again. 'I wonder if Stormy and Kurogane ever made nice. Those two seem like they could be great friends, if they could see what's right in front of their noses.' Sera chuckles to herself, stirring up a little dust and making herself sneeze.

Stormy's face softened and said " I am glad that Sera has someone like you looking out for her, she is very lucky gal, I can only hope that someone someday will do the same for me, I suppose we can start the search for your friend now but we have to take slow and steady to avoid heat exhaustion it can be deadly ."

Veil nods weakly. "I don't have the strength to get up, much less walk to shade anyway. My coat is light enough that the sun won't bother me, but the light will. My eyes are too light for bright sunlight."
Sera sees a few wolves standing around but decides against going to them. 'I wonder. They might know somewhere I can be where I won't be any trouble.' Making that decision, Sera turns and trots in their direction.

Stormy replied " Very well we will begin searching for your friend immediately after I heal you some more so you wont collapse in the heat." Stormy once again healed Veil after she was done she continued talking " I was only able to heal you enough to help you survive the heat, there is a small crevice in those boulders over there, you can rest there and rebuild your strength while I go in search for your friend and hopefully Kurogane will help me." Stormy looked over at Kurogane waiting for his answer

Kurogane stopped abruptly and signed lowering his head. "Fine. I will help. But only for this moment. Once we finish hunting I may consider helping to look for Sera... but," He turned his head to look back that them. "Do not expect me to be in a good mood now that the sun is out."

Veil trots wearily to the crevice and lays down, closing his eyes so he can sleep.
Sera stops when she gets a little closer to the wolves. She recognizes both Kurogane and Stormy, but not the wolf that walks to the crevice. Shrugging, she continues to approach them. "Hello. I didn't realize that you would be out this way." She inclines her head to both of them, and wags her tails lightly.

Stormy gave Kurogane a impish grin , gave him a playful nudge and replied " You're never in a good mood, I should start calling you Mr. Sunshine." Before she could hear his response to her teasing she heard another voice and turned to see Sera coming towards her. " Hey Sera we have been looking for you, another wolfs wants to talk to you, he says he knows you."

Kurogane growled at her but before he could explain his discomfort with heat Sera appeared. Stormy's attention went straight to her and he huffed sitting were he stood. He was hoping to go hunting with her. As much as the tease and talk, he figured it would be fun. Crossing pack boundaries would also be a bit daring too.

Sera cocks her head. A wolf that knew her? The only wolves that knew her were her old pack and she wanted nothing to do with any of them. Well, maybe that wasn't completely true. There was only one that she really liked but he wasn't allowed to leave the pack lands without an escort. Sera sneezed once and looked at the sun. It was a little hot so she raised her tails to block some of the sun. Looking at Kurogane and his obvious discomfort, she shifted a little to block the sun from him as much as she could. "I'll talk to the wolf later. Right now, I'm looking for food. Unfortunately, that comes before any meetings."
Veil, upon hearing Sera's voice, struggles to stand. He leans heavily against the rocks he's taking cover between and uses them to keep him upright. The sun hits his eyes when he gets far enough out and he sucks in a breath. "Sera!"

Stormy nodded her head in agreement but asked again " Well it will only take a minute, he really wants to talk to you now, he says its important."

Sera hears her name, looks at the wolf and jumps away from the others immediately, flames licking up around her body. "You! You'll lead them to me! How could you betray me like this?!" Sera whines as the flames curl around her protectively. "They'll kill me!"
Veil sucks in a breath as he watches her jump back. Hearing her words, he whimpers. "Sera.... No one followed me. I would have sensed them. It's okay. Calm down." He struggles to stand straight. "It's okay... It's okay... Can either of you handle highly destructive flames?" He looks at Stormy and Kurogane.

Stormy nodded her head and said "Yes I can handle it, my barrier will protect us meanwhile you need to convince her that everything is ok it's going to take a lot out of me to keep this barrier up against those powerful flames." As she finished her sentence Stormy pulled up a powerful barrier around Veil, Kurogane, and herself.

Veil nods, watching Sera as she's engulfed by the purple flames. "It won't be easy. She isn't going to listen to me. Is there anyone you know that can talk to her? Someone she won't hurt? Maybe even someone she's scared to hurt?" He never takes his eyes off of Sera, but speaks to Stormy calmly.
Sera closes her eyes and tries to breathe. 'I have to calm down! Stormy is my friend. Kurogane might be cranky but he's never threatened me. But Veil... Him I could hurt for this! No! I have to stay calm. Calm works. If I don't get this turned down soon, I could hurt all of them.' She shakes her head a few times and gets an idea. 'I've got it! Howling releases stress! Maybe if I howl a few times?' Sera tilts her head back, pulls in a deep breath, and releases a howl that is ripped from the depths of her soul.
