"I'm fine thank you miss." Lucius waited for the women to serve him so he could go and sit down. He didn't like being around so many unfamiliar people, at least in his cell he could be secluded from the rest of all these people. After she had served him Lucius walked over towards an empty table an sat down. Hoping he could eat his meal in peace.

 Amarissa Amarissa had been uncharacteristically silent the whole time. She blindly followed her people, lost too deep in thought to notice if anyone even talked to her. She suddenly jerked into awareness when she smelled food. She noticed other people eating it without problems and so ate some, relishing in its flavor. She sat in the corner, allowing the warm food to fill her up. She hadn't been eating as much lately, since supplies had gotten scarcer to find. In fact, she didn't remember the last time she didn't just give her food away after a couple bites to someone she felt needed it more. She looked at her empty plate, flushing with embarrassment and shame and curled in on herself within the seat. She silently wished she could just stare at the stars without anyone staring at her funny and ask for their forgiveness for her selfishness. Especially considering the people who decided to stay on Earth.

Celdor entered the Galley, his armor back on. He looked imposing again, as if unwilling to take gruff from anyone.

Amarissa Amarissa unfurled herself as the man came in, refusing to look weak. She stood and walked over to him, mentally wondering what she was going to say. It poured from her mouth without her even thinking. "What do we do on this ship, sir? I know you saved us and all, but what is all of our purposes here?"

Celdor looked over as one of the women from the planet approached him. He remembered her, the one that asked about keeping weapons.
"The Captain is supposed to assign you something to do. She's sleeping right now, so I recommend Sickbay. I do not believe the doctor screened you yet."

Amarissa Wasn't the most satisfying answer, but what was she expecting? Oh, they had lied and she was going to be experimented on? Laughable, that. They seemed to have no intentions of doing something like that. She flushed as she remembered she was supposed to go get checked up. "Right, thanks," she replied turning and leaving, hoping to god she wouldn't get lost and look like a fool. -exit-

Serena watched as the woman exited the Galley before she brought the meal over to Celdor, setting it down in front of him.
"Well hey there stranger, long time no talk. I hope you like lasagne, nothing fancy though just a beef one. But that side of mash potatoes there, are to die for. Trust me, I love mash potatoes and I sure did make a good batch for you just now."
Serena set down a second plate and sat beside him. Being the cook meant you had to prepare a lot of food for everyone else and sometimes that meant you forgot to feed yourself, so she was glad to take the time out to eat with him.

Celdor glanced at the plate and his mouth began to water. Somehow, he'd managed to overlook how hungry he was.
"Thank you, Miss Fa-...Serena."
He decided that he'd use her first name. After all, they'd touched minds, even for the briefest of moments.
"I love mashed potatoes. When I was a child, my mother would have to make two batches, as I'd go through them like water."
He took a bite of the lasagna, his eyes closing.
"Mmm. That's perfect."

Serena smiled against her fork as she pushed the food into her mouth, trying not to giggle in delight. On her own plate were some lettuce leaves. For some reason to her, lasagne just went perfect with lettuce. She congratulated herself for having picked something he enjoyed, as she shoveled in a spoonful of mash. When her mouth wasn't full she answered him.
"Does that mean I'll have to make you up another batch as well?"
She grinned at him quickly before taking another bite of lasagne. It sure was good, even if she did think so herself.

He grinned, close mouthed, at her. After he swallowed, he was able to respond.
"Nah, I'm not that pudgy little kid anymore. I have to keep myself fit in order to fit into my armor. Otherwise, I can't do my job as effectively."
He took another bite, chewing it slowly. He didn't care for anything on the same plate as a lasagna, though he'd never say it.

"You were pudgy?"
She eyed him up and down. He was big-boned perhaps and solid, even a little formidable but she really couldn't see him as being pudgy. Considering how hard he worked and how disciplined he seemed to be.
"It's hard to believe even with your weird oath paladin thing, so I know you must be telling the truth. I just can't see it."

"Serena, I was short, pudgy, and awkward, in a family full of graceful people. I was always quiet and shy."
he took another bite to think about how to add to that.
"It didn't help my entire family were killers."

Serena almost choked on her food when he said the last part. She coughed awkwardly before she was able to get herself under control and breathe properly again.
"What?"
She shook her head.
"Sorry, ahh, could you tell me more about them? Why were they graceful? Most importantly why are they killers? Why did you not follow the same way?"
Serena remembered the comment he'd made about his mother's cooking and wondered how something so normal seemed to be even related to a bunch of killers.

He relaxed, as he'd been about to Heal her, but it was no big deal, apparently.
"Well, as you know, Assassins are common on my world, though they have rules. My entire family were Assassins. According to our family tree, my Great great grandfather was de-classed for breaking the rules. We went by the name Jack the Ripper."
He ran his fingers through his grey hair.
"But I didn't feel like killing people for money. And then I discovered the Legion of Hunters. So I became a Paladin, just to join them. I could use whatever weapons I wanted to, and still be a Paladin."
He took another bite of mashed potatoes.
"They were graceful because they were Assassins. Grace helps with sneaking around. After all, to slit someone's throat, it pays, literally, to not be heard until the knife is moving."

A chill ran through her at his last statement.
"Ahhh, I didn't know that actually, about your home world I mean. I really don't know much about you, as much as I would like. What did you great great grandfather do to become de-classed?"
Serena furrowed her brow as she thought about what you would have to do to break a rule about killing people. It seemed pretty straight forward to her.
