"That doesn't sound good. Maybe you need a nap too when we get back!" she laughed, turning back around to walk as Crystal got closer to her. It wasn't until she got beside her, though, that she resumed her full pace up the mountain. Glancing to her, she nodded. "Yeah, I figured that there'd be less people coming back, so I could sleep. Drinking those... spirits... or whatever didn't leave a good feeling this morning. What about you?"
If it was just small-talk, she could easily handle it as they walked up. There were some points, though, when they might have to climb up a particularly steep point when she would instead just flap her wings and fly until it leveled back to a reasonable incline.
"How do you know what would displease these Guardians anyways?" There was no sarcasm in Sparrow's tone, instead replaced with a genuine curiosity. From what she understood, these guys didn't -actually-, physically, exist, so how could they have preferences? Rocks don't have preferences, clouds don't have preferences, why would they? Laughing, she commented on her second point, "It's not that bad! You don't have to drink to have a good time." Her laugh grew heartier as she saw them come into view again. "But hey, that means I don't have to go out and hunt for meat."
Before this, the bird had never heard of "spirits" or "drinking" in a sense that did not refer to having fun or just drinking water. Neither of her parents had ever indulged in such a thing, at least not in her knowledge, so she still was not sure about just -what- could be in such a liquid to burn her from the inside and make her sick.
More so, why any pae would opt into doing that with full knowledge of what it did.
Eyes glancing up, she hummed lightly to herself, "Hmmm... Is that so...?" as she mused the other's words. It would be nice to think that there was some magical thing looking over her, even if it didn't actually exist. Even just a notion could be a bit comforting, and surely something like this, something fictional, wouldn't betray her trust like her mother or abandon her like her father. The more she heard of them, of these Guardians, especially after the mess her "family" had become, the more appealing it all sounded. Grinning and laughing as the growl brought her from her thoughts, she nodded. "How about we go hunt down some of that meat they've got cookin for us?"
Noteworthy agreed they were pretty, he took one from the pile that Summer had found "Wonder what they are" he mused to her pocketing just one thinking he could later find out for himself. Later at camp he decided to sit near her and chat about their adventure in the caves, he'd shed the sweater but had put it in his tent for later in case he'd gotten cold again.

Eagerly joining her friend as they went to enjoy their meals, Sparrow couldn't help but notice that there seemed to be less food this evening around. That sucked. Oh well, it was still easier than having to hunt for herself, no matter the total quantity, so she could live with it. Picking up her bowl, she filled it with various meats (at least one of each kind; more when she could) until there was a respectable mound sitting atop it.
Growing teenagers, right?
Glancing around, she motioned to a place where some others seemed to be sitting. "How about we join them?" She mused to Crystal, her head turning to look back at her.

It was a quieter night, that night.
Perhaps that was why it was easier to get to sleep.
It was not soon before long, and most of the Pae'il were asleep within a few hours of making the camp. It was a tiring day, many people hiking up and down mountains or deep into mines several times, so it was not necessarily hard to believe that sleep would become inevitable.
The sleep seemed oddly refreshing, though perhaps that was because of all the physical activity of the night before. Even those who would normally be roused by loud noises, or even soft noises, or even the slightest changes in temperature or environment...? They found themselves sleeping like babies, nestled happily in their dreams and their camping sites (well, if they managed to set up a proper camping site, anyway). This Mountain Expedition had been a good idea, hadn't it? It was much more tiring than the other two expeditions--or vacations as it were--for certain, but it was also much more ... fulfilling?
It was that kind of fulfilled sensation the Pae'il might have started stirring with ... that was, until they started to realize something was wrong.
Nothing was right.
Everything had changed.
Where were the Solamir?
Where was everyone else?
It seemed that the snowy mountain lands stretched on for an entirety, whie all around with no real forseeable exit. Some were lucky enough to find themselves near trees or near less snow, but the truth of the matter was starkly obvious when any Pae'il chose to use their slowly awakening--and perhaps quickly panicking--brain.
The Solamir were gone, the snow had gotten higher, and everyone had drifted apart.
The oddest part was, perhaps, that no one managed to wake up for what looked to be quite the storm. There were some walls of snow debris and other cold things stacked up higher than one would have expected after a mild storm, and there were drifts that almost seemed as high as a hill themselves. If the Solamir were right about one thing, it was that this land was certainly a bit treacherous. How had this happened?
As the Pae'il took the time to acquaint themselves, they might eventually find that there was one person in their area. Perhaps it was someone that they had been keeping close to, brought with them to ... wherever they had drifted off to? Perhaps it was someone they had just seen on the trip and did not even recognize all that readily? Perhaps it was someone they didn't interact with at all! No matter what, there was one thing for certain...
They were all each other had for the moment.
===================================
In your first roleplay, your Pae'il will wake up, and find they are lost, after what appears to have been a rather .. chaotic storm. How did they sleep through that?! Each couple will be somewhere different, and for the duration, they will not encounter any other Pae'il.
There are three elements necessary for survival: 1 - Food, 2 - Water, and 3 - Shelter. Each pair will be given only two of these three. The player to start the roleplay should randomize 1 - 3 in their first post. The next player should randomize 1 - 2 in their first post. (1 and 2 correspond with the two elements remaining.) These will be the two necessities that the Pae'il have provided for them, either though natural resources in the mountain or something left behind from long past. Be creative!
The pair's first challenge will be working together to find some way to provide the final necessary resource in order to survive until they can be rescued.
Each pair will face other challenges, in the form of random events (should they trigger them with certain RP actions), but unless they are posted, you are on your own with this roleplay. Your Pae'il must work together to try and survive until they are rescued.
Additional Rules:
Use the tag [SUMMER] in all RP that is started, and include the Pae names. Only use the Event subforum. Each started RP has to conclude. When an RP is done, post (fin) at the end of the title. Please post this code at the bottom all your posts. List all the items you have obtained where noted, and strike out all used items. Items you have at current include the basic backpack items, minus potential lost items, plus item grants from the games and explorations in prior prompts.
Powers work, but Pae can't fly if they have wings. Naiad will not have to worry about driving out. The snow is plentiful enough that they can treat it as a water source. Don't wait for prompts, we aren't giving any. We are only posting random events if the Pae'il do an action we are looking for. You may start as many new RPs as you want, as long as the previous ones are completed. (Please only have one open RP per couple at a time!) We're looking for quality over quantity and realistic relationships to form. All our colorists have been given permission to pick any couple's RP they enjoy to give a breeding. So create an interesting story if you want your pair to be blessed with babies. Other prizes will be awarded upon successfully completing a random event.

COUPLES
All couples find themselves in a relatively snow-drifted area. Some looking around may yield the following items...
