To Bea, she said, "What? No, that's Roch! Alex is the zomboil." She pointed over to the zombie as she spoke. "Duhhh Bea."
Then she backed away from the trapdoor because that thing was clearly stuck in there. Instead she went back to the door and looked for a way to get it open.
"SHUT UP PUPPY," Danny screamed back at Demi.

"Please, allow me."
The voice spoke before the door, a burning crimson gate was opened, a single figure stepping through before the frame curled back into emptiness. Some recognized her immediately: the head priestess of the Lost Clans. Other students were confused still: who was this lady who had appeared and why was she here. Perhaps one student knew the true answer, however, or perhaps a few.
She moved from behind the students, steadily making her way to the trap door as if she had been there all along, simply watching. Though she did not physically push anyone back, there was something about her Fear alone, a strange sort of exotic, almost foreign presence that drew from itself a quiet sort of reverence, as if obeying a very distinct, established professor or figure of authority. Her robes swept through the ground as if taking a life of their own, burning a deep crimson, making her appearance almost ominous.
A gentle touch on Roch's shoulder, and then another cursory movement over the trapped key. There was another soft click, and then compliantly, the door swung open, the key sliding out to clang on the ground in one fluid motion.
The Head Priestess stood in front of the open door, barring all students from entering. "I am Medea, the Head Priestess of the Lost Clans. I have been summoned to assist in your cause and yet, I believe you know the answer as well as I do. Not all are suited for this path forwards, a path that is not suited for everyone. I do not want to see such young fledglings like yourself get hurt, neither do I want to see you in pain. And yet, no path is without pain. If you choose to follow me, continue forward, then you will follow my path, and join with us, the Lost Clans, in this cause. We will save what is yours, we will fight with you and you with us, in unison, but you must also prepare to sacrifice. Sacrifice the shelter that Halloween provides under ignorance, discard your shell of security, leave to fight and protect your friends and allies. As students you are not fighters, you are not warriors, but some of you, many of you, have had to fight. You have had to fight against opponents you do not understand, in conditions that you cannot hope to match. You were outnumbered or trapped, you were rendered helpless and feeble. You have forgotten what it is like to be what you really are, if not warriors then those born of Fear, born with the power to make others fear."
Her voice rose strong, sharp, proudly, until the last sentence, simply a note of silence. She held out her hand and in that instance a ring of fire appeared, surrounding the open trap door and herself. Flames that flickered and glowed a deep maroon, as warning as her tone. "I extend this invitation to all, a union together. If you cross here, you cannot look back. Some paths cannot be returned to."
It was their choice after all, as students. OOC IN THE OFFICE - you hear a shrill ringing, that seems to be coming from the hallway behind the cabinet that many students are retreating too. It continues to screech, loudly, painfully, until address the source, following it until you reach the Locker Room below, where Medea stands. You manage to head in just as she begins her speech. It looks like your student will have to make a choice: fight, or run away? IN THE LOCKER ROOM - you hear Medea's speech. It is time for your choice: fight, or run away? - IF YOU HAVE NOT POSTED YET: You still can! Just have your character entering the LOCKER ROOMS just in time to hear the speech (or perhaps they were here all along!)

Roch had gone still at the touch, watching in silence as she unlocked the door, looking at the ring of fire that she raised with absolutely no fear. Her speech was nothing he hadn't figured out, or vaguely realized a long time ago. Joining the lost clan, though... he scowled slightly, his mind going to the slaughter pictures that he had seen in their homes. He didn't have any urge to slaughter humans, just to collect their FEAR.
But if it meant getting Amphi back, he thought, "I'm in," he said as he stepped forward, through the ring of fire.

Did you really have to ask Danny if she wanted to jump into a ring of fire? Really?
She already knew Roch's answer, and knew hers as well. Roch ran ahead of her though, and Danny pouted. Well of course he had to steal the show. Danny waved at the head priestess and said, "Thanks!"
After that, she ran into the flames, full speed ahead. She was going to get back Amphi, Yin AND Mei.

Shun put the vial away as Medea made her presence. Stepping away, he looked to her, patiently waiting to hear what she had to say. Yes, there was truth in her words, but a part of him felt that he may have already crossed that line with that last seeds mission in a way. And certainly, he was not going to be looking back. A point of no return?
That mattered little to him. He wanted Mitsu back. He wanted to go against the Hunters. He wanted to make Candace suffer.
"There is nothing to look back to in the first place," he murmured while making his way into the flames. This was the path he was planning on traversing for some time. And it was the path that became solid for him once she had been stolen away. Any other choice was the wrong one for him.

"We have," Jericho said to Levi before looking as the head priestess appeared. He watched her carefully, clutching onto his magic talking inkjar kind of possessively. The spellweaver she may be, he didn't want to give up the magic talking inkjar. It was his now. "We must do what we can to protect our homes," he grumbled, moving into the flames with little hesitation. They didn't start this fire. It was always burning, since the world's been turning.

Office > Locker RoomsOops. She took her eye off of Mot and Shun for a moment and— Hel winced as a shrill ringing got her ear, and gritting her teeth, the reaper was immediately drawn to the sound with the urge and desire to silence it until she caught sight of the Head Priestess. The ghoul paused in the locker room, immediately falling into a hushed awe at her presence as she spoke. Yes. She agreed with the words…though she was very much a warrior…the fact that they had been running and under minded for far too long rung true. Shun spoke of waiting…was this what they had been waiting for…could they get back Mitsu and the others? The ghoul shot a grin over at Mot and Shun before stepping forward as well. “ I never turn my back from a battle, especially one for allies.”

Mot turned sharply as Medea entered. His feelings on the Horsemen were mixed. He knew none of them personally, and he'd heard terrible things from those that had seen some sort of vision in their homeland. They were unknown and about as mysterious as the hunters. However, they were often there when the students needed them. But to what end and purpose?
Where was she leading them? Why? Would it really be okay to simply follow her because of a pretty speech on empowerment?
Mot was no warrior. He was barely even a capable fighter. He couldn't defend others, nor himself. He tried, Oh Jack did he always try. But time and time again it was made so crystal clear how useless he was in a pinch. This made his headache even worse. His head ached, throbbed and stung. His ears were ringing. Was it really the head wound talking, or was it his mind that was suffering a greater trauma?
The reaper held his head, watching as others more formidable than himself step forward. Shun included. Damnit. If he didn't go, he'd hear it from Hel, right? Mot ran away, gave up because it all seemed too hard. His head hurt, his heart hurt. But he was so sick and tired of running into traps just to prove himself or save his friends. How would following the mysterious priestess do any good?
Hel flashed a grin at him, and she in turn received a deep frown. His friends were so much stronger. Not just in body. They knew what they wanted, and were so sure of themselves. How could he ever do that? How could he believe in a vague promise from a Horsemen if he barely believed in himself?
The reaper hesitated.

Hel stepped though, and came to stand near Shun, but that frown Mot had given her had her turning her head to look back at him through the flames. She wanted to tell him to come along, that everything would be okay, but that was what she wanted to believe. The ghoul furrowed her brows in thought. She knew Mot wasn’t a fighter. He was a negotiator. His strength came more with words, and where they were going…there was no place for words. It wasn’t his kind of battle but…
“…Ya know what, Mot?” Hel called out to him. “Whatever happens, it needs to be your choice. I do not care what anyone says, or why they are doing this…whatever you chose, go that route because it was what you wanted. I am going for Mitsu, for Shun…for the others…but I understand this is not everyone’s battle. If you are not willing to come, then you need to stay, as you will only be a liability…but I hope I do not need to remind you, that I am sure all your friends would leap through those flames if it meant saving you.” Hel paused.
“…If you stay, are you going to regret it?”

Mot looked up as Hel spoke to him through the flames, the cogs in his head turning as she continued. She knew him very well. So well it was comforting. He at least had the assurance that if he turned his back on this, she would understand.
At least he had that. But was it enough? Would he regret it?
"Yes... I probably would.." Mot said in a small voice. But he hated fighting, and he was piss poor at it. Back to square one. Stay, and forever be useless? No one needed a negotiator here. No one needed him.
He simply needed his friends.
A low groan echoed in his throat. Did he really have the guts to be a Boogeyman? It was becoming painfully obvious now more than ever. His dream.. it was a sham. Pointless. He'd never be a Boogeyman.
"...I'll.. stay."
Hate him if you would, he knew he was disappointing Hel. Shun. Everyone.
"I'd be in the way, so go. Save Mitsu."

Calder knew how Medea was. He had seen her enough during times that they were rescued, and had been on her island. Trances were becoming oddly familiar to him now, and despite how many questions he had for her, she was the only member of the school aside from Arel who showed up to try and help them.
He didn't know what to think, but here she was again, and she had an offer.
Amityville or saving Amrita.
Calder's ears dropped. He had come to save Amrita, but what Medea was proposing seemed to suggest they could never come back.
What about Barth?!
"Wait? You mean we can't come back ever? We have family! I have a boilfriend! I want to save Amrita, but...how can we bring her back if we can't come back?"

Once he was through the flames, Shun turned around to see Hel coming. Mot was lingering further behind. He nodded quietly to the former, then watched the cowboy, waiting to see what decision he would make. The answer came quick to himself, but he could see how such a choice would be more difficult for others.
The reaper wasn't going to try and sway him in either direction. If Mot's heart was not in this, then yes, he would only end up slowing them down. But if his resolve was firm, he would be good to have around. Besides, Hel was already doing the talking.
When the boy made his decision, he continued to be silent. With nothing to say, he simply turned back around.

And just like that, the rune was gone. Vanished from sight and mind, she turned to look at the two boils shrugging.
"What ever it was, or could have been it's gone now. We can only move forward from this point onward." Standing up she brushed dust from her knees turning towards the path to the locker room. A ringing could be heard in the distance, it sent a slight shiver down her spine but she continued onward with other students.
When she arrived she caught the speech from the Head Priestess. Her own FEAR flickered purple in her eyes but it was hard in this moment, to look on her. She was something beyond all of them in the room. She made Invictus look... dull. Powerful, but she was more then that.
"We've fought plenty of times, hunters, insanity, we've visited your lands. But when we cross that fire? When we turn our backs on this way of life, are we fighting for you? For your apocalypse? Or for ourselves and our home, for Amity?"
She wanted it, she wanted to fight to have power, but the way she spoke. It felt like she would lose the very things she was fighting for now in exchange for the offer.
Siddie, Shehk, her home. She still had so much to do.

Tybalt's attention was quickly grabbed by the appearance of the head priestess of the lost clans. Of all the horsemen, Medea had been the one to help them on more than one occasion. Though whether it was for them, or for other reasons, he couldn't say. What he could say was that he wouldn't turn his back on her now. Not when they, or most of them, owed her a debt and certainly not when their friends lives were at stake. No. He would go. He would fight. But that didn't mean he fully trusted her or any of the other horsemen.
"I think we, or most of us, have given up on the idea of an easy school life. The hunters saw to that." His words were a low growl, clearly showing he remembered each and every attack the hunters had brought to their doorstep. He wanted revenge for their actions, for the pain and suffering they caused him--all of them. Though whether this was his true feelings, or the voices from the chalice, was hard to tell. Tybalt normally didn't look for fights, however-- "I'm not going to abandon my friends when they need me."
Mei and him were only just starting to become friends. He didn't want to lose a friendship that had barely even begun. Not to the hunters. He had seen what they did to their kind. How they treated them. If there was any chance they could bring them back, he would fight tooth and nail to do so.

Hel wanted to say something more, trying to convince him otherwise with words, but the truth was painfully simple. One just couldn’t sway others with their own selfish wants. Mot made his choice, as shaky as it sounded, and she needed to respect and validate that. Before she answered the grim, Hel looked around at some of the other students as well, like Calder and Sammy. They seemed to be questioning the reasons for going…and it reminded Hel that she had a one track mind and that she leapt before she thought.
But the matter at hand had been easy for her. Mitsu. The others. She couldn’t spend the rest of her time comfortably at Amity if she had a shot to get the Lycan back and she didn’t take it.
Hel sighed, and her shoulders slumped as she looked back at Mot. Her smile was sad, before she perked herself back up. “Neh…Mot? Do me a favor while I am gone, ya? Sit down and write a list.” She paused. “I want you to write a list of all the things you are good at…the things that you can do well. I know you like to focus on what you are lacking, so sit down and Jack damn focus on what you can do.” She grinned a bit. “Oh, also…go get my poof and watch him for me, ya? He was sleeping on my pillow when I left…you know where my spare key is ~ !”
