Smirking Minist gave the beast another good smack. This may not be the best night she had ever had, but it could easily be worse and for at least this moment she was enjoying herself.
Minist did 6 damage.

Weak point: Mouth
HP: 741/1400 The dragon shuddered at the assault the trolls were managing to dish out on it while still annihilating its young. It swung its head from side to side, and yet again lit up, glowing brighter than it had so far, electricity crackling around it. It lifted its head, let out what was probably a battle-cry in whatever you were supposed to call the noises a giant leechbatdragon abomination makes, and charged into the densest crowd of trolls, throwing its weight around, lashing out at whatever it could. The dodge rolls go like this:
If you rolled a 1, the enormous creature slams into you, knocking the wind straight out of you. Take three damage from the hit, and subtract one from your damage roll for the rest of this round, due to your troll trying not to dry-heave up their airsacs.
If you rolled a 2, he swings out at you with his clawed wing. The electricity coursing through him is revitalizing, causing you to add one to your damage rolls this round, but you're still sorta cut open. Lose three HP.
If you rolled a 3, you're bowled over by the creature as it charges. You avoid any real damage, only getting scraped up, but as he rushes past you, he doesn't even take notice of you, leaving himself wide open to surprise attacks. Take two damage, but gain three on your damage roll, just for this post.
If you rolled a 4, you're smacked by one of his wings as he rushes. You take one damage, and wonder how you were negligent enough to get hit like that, your embarrassment causing you to try to compensate. Add one to your damage rolls for the rest of the turn.
If you rolled a 5, you try to pull off a roll you saw in some action movie or another, and perfectly dodge the rampaging wyvern. The confidence gained from such a badass maneuver causes you to gain an extra three on your damage roll this round.
If you rolled a 6, when the beast charges, you stare it dead in the general area where its eyes would be if it had anything resembling a normal face, and plant yourself firmly. You punch it in the general-snout-area to establish dominance as it approaches, and are immediately smashed into by the beast. But no matter! You may take four damage from the collision, but you both know that you're the alpha now. For the rest of the round, deal double damage. Next round at: 2.5am EST

Oh she was not going to let that thing b***h-slap her and not pay it back. Yelling with her own battle cry she struck and hoped the beast knew a good dentist.
Minist did 7 or 8 damage. Too tired to do math.

Pyre'd been fighting relentlessly thus far, stopping only to reload and be tended to but that was just once okay so back off. Teammates, comrades, disliked ones, all were ignored for the sake of victory in combat. Shoot, shoot, punch, shoot, punch, stomp, repeat with a reload mixed in. No time for deviation amidst the annihilation, obliterating for the sake of continuing her nation--okay that's enough of that, but the point is, she had her hands full.
The babyleeches dead, the adult not "facing" her, she figured she had enough time to glance around, see how her teammates were doing. More specifically, to compare how she was doing to how he was doing; had he needed any patching up yet? Her eyes quickly found that oversized horn, so distinct in its solitude, and shifted down to his face.
Their eyes met, and she held the gaze for too long for it to be an accidental glance.
"--Hrng."
In her panic, she hadn't been paying the beast any mind, and she'd paid for it as it slammed into her, lifting her off her feet. Momentum carried her through the air, and she landed on her back, suddenly unable to breathe. She'd let go of the revolver she was holding, and couldn't really focus enough to decide she should grab one of her others, she was mostly preoccupied with getting her lungs working ******** Sempur Livora.

5/20 +1 guard prev.
Sempur had always been a one man show—and what a show it was—never quite actually grasping the concepts of teamwork and ~esprit de corps~ he raved so much about to his (one) recruit and (dwindling) army of toy soldiers. When it came right down to it, he was only too quick to ditch his own insistence that army was supposed to be a cohesive unit, instead ordering others around and acting superior because he was superior, of course, and everyone knew how Sempur was in fights. No teammwork, just a suicidal jump straight into the fray. Part of it, if not most of it, was what a huge glory hound he was. But another part, one that frankly should come as no surprise to anyone, was the fact that at the end of the night, Sempur Livora could trust no one. The night's earlier events had only solidified the fact in his paranoid, delusional mind.
Pathetic had been quickly forgotten after she had given him the knife (though make no mistake, the slap certainly wasn't forgotten, and Sempur would see to it that his recruit was properly punished for such disrespect), the rest of the trolls fighting the leechdragon simply fading into the background to him, and even the object of all of his rage that night, reflected in the very monster he was fighting, took a backseat in his mind as he focused solely on winning. Hell, even the other usual object of Sempur's neverending contempt was forgotten until he suddenly found himself locking eyes with her.
He instantly straightened, gaze defiant even as he was caught off-guard, suddenly, stupidly self-conscious even if he didn't realize it. Fortunately, the new feeling he probably wouldn't have been able to comprehend even if he weren't currently hyped up on combat high didn't last long as the wyvern tackled Pyruet. In a move that would have surprised him were he aware of it, Sempur quickly stepped forward, but was caught by the rampaging beast's tail and sent sprawling—fortunately catching himself before he could slam his face into the ground and further wreck his nose. See, he was learning!
Wait, ********, how dare Pyruet Tropos make him learn.
And worse yet, distract him! Right! Quickly picking himself back up, trying to shake that look she had given him off, Sempur almost didn't want to get the free hit on the leechdragon because it might look like he was doing it for her or something. Thankfully he realized that was a stupid thought and OK he had to stop thinking about her and show that abomination his stabs.

I should.... really try payin' mo' 'tention to.. t'the giant.. leech... worm... bat... thing...." Talymn wheezed, finding himself plastered onto the floor and not wanting to move at all. This whole fight has seen him going from one end to the other in terms of morale. At least this time his body controls weren't rewired like some crazy switchboard.
Then again, he would really like to be able to breath and not have that hurt.

13/20 Also +1 guard from leech spit GOOD JOB SARCE
There's a sudden change in demeanor.
She's standing there, arms wrapped in bandages, hands wrapped in bandages. There was a forehead wound-- bleeding out brilliant blue-- where she got that injury, she forgot. Her vision was swimming a bit, ragged breaths trying to supply her mind with vital oxygen, however the organ was consuming the life-air far too fast. She could not keep up with the pace of her thought structure, and everything around her felt slow while her mind pushed forward.
It happens quickly. Sarcel is clutching her gun, cocked and at the ready. This fight had been drumming on for what seemed like an eternity now, she had helped and been helped-- twice now... she didn't want those efforts to go to waste.
She wanted to prove something, do something. Suddenly the beast is charging towards her and everyone else, wings and electricity a hazardous spray. It's coming right towards her-- other trolls roll out of the way, or take the brunt of the attack, or dodge it by a hairs inch... but she stands. She stays. Her legs are rooted to the cavern floor; is it fear that keeps the soles of her shoes glued, or sudden determination that keeps her soul resolved? She see's the leechmonsters mouth growing ever closer.
And she sees that graybloods symbol. The exhaustion, shot nerves, destructive adrenaline, will to prove, desire to impress, anger and indignation-- it all combines and intertwines together.
It screeches as it pummels into her, but she screams a war cry herself. She's back on that cliff edge, trying to breath, pupils wide with an unseen sort of panic and fury again. She's pushed over the edge again, ramming the butt of her gun into the heathens face as hard as she can-- ramming it into it's face, and into that gray symbol. Electricity sprays again...
...and she's filled with an incredible pain, but that's a distant thought now. She's completely enraged and without reason, letting her troll instinct engulf her, the natural highblood violence and strength so known and expected of and tacked to her caste bleeding through like the blue on her bandages.
The beast backs off, taking on onslaught of attacks now, but she still has her gun cocked. Teeth bared like some sort of wild animal-- she charges at it again.

...because honestly there was just no reasoning with her anymore.
She wasn't even completely conscious of everything around her, of all the going-ons, the other trolls, even Sir slipped her mind-- Pyre too. All she could focus on was the beast and that leech mouth and her raw anger.
Digression, she could go on about the tumultuous lengths of her fury, but instead she just charged at it and fired a shot into it's gaping maw. Legs carried her away before it could attack again, zipping around with the astonishing speed she was evidently capable of, feet zipping around each other like a dance, memorizing to watch had well... it been a more appropriate time to be watching someone run.
Not that it mattered. The shot and the cry that echoed through the cavern was good enough. It was a bizarre sense of glee to watch the beat howl in pain.
