Lirende Torm could tell that the pretty lady was surprised by his appearance and sudden questioning but she quickly regained her composure. "Oh child you startled me!" She exclaimed, her voice soothing and bell-like, "I am lonely, yes. You see all these beautiful Meardh's? None of them will come speak with me because they're all too enamored with the ball and each other." She looked sad as she ran her fingertip over the rim of her glass. A soft humming sound followed the action before it stopped when she dropped her hand to the table. "I only know one other person here as well, and she is far too busy for me to monopolize all her time." Torm looked confused, the lady was using words that he'd never heard before, but he was a smart child and could piece together what she was saying. "Well that's not fair!" Torm declared, "I mean didn't she invite you to the party? She should at least spend some time with you." He pouted, leaning on his elbows, which were on the table.Lady Evergreen laughed and folded her hands on top of the table, "She did child, but she is also the hostess of the party, and as such must greet everyone and spend some time with all of them. I knew this when I accepted her invitation and had hoped that I would have the chance to meet others and become friends with them all." Her eyes dimmed a bit, "I'm afraid that the few who would have approached me were...scared away." "What do you mean by that?" Torm asked, sitting up, "There's nothing scary about you!""While that's true, many see my beauty and then see my wings. It's very rare for a Pegasus to have more than one set of wings, and here I am with two sets. They aren't sure if their eyes are playing tricks on them, or if I have an illusion showing me with them. But they are as real as possible." She sighed, and cast her gaze out across the dance floor. Torm followed her gaze, baffled and confused by what the Lady was speaking of. All he'd managed to catch was that she was lonely and people thought she was scary because of her wings. Well he'd show them! "Hey pretty Lady! I can't dance well, but will you dance with me?" He asked, bouncing down out of the chair and holding his hand out to her like he'd seen some others do.Lady Evergreen looked startled at the sudden request and couldn't help but laugh at the serious expression on the colts face. "My name is Lady Evergreen child, and yes, I will dance with you." She smiled and stood, reaching down to take his small hand in hers. "I'm Torm! Lets go show them that you aren't scary just coz you're different." He said and led her to the dance floor.I have brought you ....50 gifts from Lirende!! Together the two of them managed to get the tree back home and after a few mishaps they got the tree setup outside, instead of inside. Izzabella danced in place, rubbing her arms which were covered in pine needles and tree sap. Duo faired no better with the length of his braid decorated with needles. He had smear of sap across one cheek that he scratched at absently. "Okay, we need tinsel, garland, lights and ornaments!" He declared, dashing into the house.
Izzabella groaned and darted forward to keep the tree from toppling over, only then noticing just what color the tree actually was. But she never got the chance to comment on it as her adopted father chose that moment to reappear, dragging a large trunk behind him. "And this is where the fun begins! I hope you practiced with your magic doll-face because there's no way we'll be able to get up top without a ladder...and I sorta misplaced that." He grinned cheekily at her and threw open the trunks lid. Inside nestled carefully were strands of silver garland, tinsel in packages and ropes of lights. Underneath it all were silvery glass ornaments.
Izzabella carefully pulled one out and her breath caught at the beauty of the scene captured within. A miniature galaxy caught with careful brush strokes and glazed with the utmost care stared back at her. "Duo where..?" She started to ask, her voice caught in her throat. The gentle smile Duo gave her left no room for doubt just where these had come from. "I had a guy blow the glass and I painted the rest. Took me a long time to do it all, but yeah, it's nothing big." He replied, blushing as he busied himself with pulling out the garland from its bags.
She had been amazed by him at the orphanage and again now, Duo Maxwell was chaos embodied but he did things like this that showed her his softer side. She giggled and let the topic drop, instead choosing to show him just how much she'd practiced her magic. Lights that lay in the snow danced through the air to twine around the top of the tree while Duo did the bottom. Garland and tinsel floated down, covering the oddly colored needles with care. The fragile ornaments settled on only the most sturdy branches. Together they stood back and took in their work.
"Looks good Doll-face, we make a good team." Duo murmured, throwing an arm across her shoulders, prompting her to lean against him to soak up his warmth. The Tree faintly glowed against the snow, the presents under it made Izzabella do a double take, but she knew better by now than to ask about it.
Tiri admired the tree at first glance then; through no fault of her own managed to walk to it not menaing to get so intrigued by the tinsela nd color... "You two made this tree?" she was grinnign and grabbed a few vore presents from under the tree. "Please--Take one!" she offered to the younger mearh considerign Duo would probably be too embarassed to take a gift...Silly mearh.

Delighted but such hospitality, Gigi picked up a beautifully wrapped gift of medium size and began introducing himself to the meara's around him.

Freaksrus M'iral was finished. They looked ok, but the secrets inside were going to be fun. She wrapped it up. She hoped not to drop this one. She made it barely. She laid down her special tarts and hid in the corner. Tiri looked over the treat table yet again and opened one of the adorable parcels made with apple and munched at it. She noted someone watchin from the shadows and... walking over gently held out ger hand to the new mearh. "Come on ot and ahve a tart with me." she spoke encouragingly and smiling. "We wont hurt you dearheart..." she pushed a few gift toward the new person. "Here have a gift on me". Little did tiri know...she was one who brought the tarts she just had!

DieKraft Fe-Amon Takara Kikuchi Milie looked to the pretty Mera and smiled. " You're really pretty!" she said happily to Tiri. She looked over at the gifts and took the small gift. " T-thank you miss. Merry Christmas." Tiri giggled at the younling who stood before her and she set the remaining presents back down. Your gift reveals to you...

Takara Kikuchi Milie dragged the huge tree home and stood it up, wiping away the little beads of sweat that were starting to emerge on her forehead. She saw a box of Christmas decorations and started making the tree pretty. After looking at the finished tree , she smiled and thought it looked very pretty. Hearing a fluttering sound, she looked over to see a foal sitting over in a corner all by herself. Milie walked over to the little foal, dodging all the people in the room and finally got to the corner. " Hello there little one." she said kneeling down next to the little winged Mera. " Where're your parents?"

Del dragged his tree into the building and set it up in the corner while he decorated. It wasn't anything like the stunning trees that you could see around town, but Del was a very simple man with simple tastes. When he was finished he stepped back to admire his work.

Izzabella's blush was hidden by the crimson hue that graced her cheeks when Tiri offered her the present. "T-thank you!" She stammered, taking it. Her first impression was to give the give back because they made the tree for everyone, not just themselves. But it was the gift giving season and it wouldn't reflect well on her if she tried. Not to mention that it would be refused anyway. At her side Duo was grinning like a loon, not in the least offended that he hadn't been offered a gift. If he had he would have only given it to his daughter anyway.
"Go on, open it." He encouraged, prodding at her side subtly and staring at her hands over her shoulder.
"Didn't anyone tell you it's rude to look over someones shoulder?" Izzabella griped, a smile on her face taking the grumpiness out of the words. Hesitantly she pulled the bow before taring into the wrapping paper.

magnadearel Mint squirmed and laughed as Milie cleaned off her face and hands, thinking it was a new game. Big gold eyes looked up at her. "Merrrrrrr?" Mint gave Milie a big hug. Milie smiled and held the little Mera in her arms. " Can you tell me your name?" she asked, playing with the foals curls. " My name's Milie."
