ounce I like the quote in your siggy, From Darkness... 3nodding Thank you, it's from a Terry Pratchett book - Lost Continent or Clay Feet I think. The titles may not be accurate as it's been years since I've read them & I'm feeling a little lazy to google. xd

alteyra I've got a Cow Bell and a Tin Foil Hat, but I can't be bothered changing into an alien to get the probe and the goggles... xp stare ...The women have made me turn into an alien to go and get a probe and some goggles... If the Red Bino doesn't work, there'll be trouble... *brandishes Katana* mad Later that same evening... Fine, mission accomplished and back to humanity, so they're off the hook... for now... ninja I must say, I rather like these goggles, though! cool

"Scuse me, but I'd like to know....Is the UK as insane about Christmas as the US is? I've seen the craft stores putting Christmas stuff out as early as AUGUST. Now that Halloween is done, they're all skipping right over Thanksgiving--a very nice American holiday if you ask me, full of good food, parades, football, and a really wild shopping day leading into the Christmas shopping season, so they shouldn't ignore it! But they do. xp One of the Raleigh radio stations started playing Christmas music. Gonna have to stay away from that station because I can't stand to listen to Christmas music til after Thanksgiving. Two months of "Jingle Bells" & "Rudolph" over & over, & I get to HATING them! gonk
Are they trying to shove Christmas down your throats already over there?

I ain't heard a Christmas song in any of the shops yet, but as soon as i do i will ask to speak to the manager and demand to know what the hell he is playing at...im sure he will tell me, as he is pinned up against the wall, that its to remind people Christmas is coming and to get them in the mood to spend but honestly...this is a particular annoyance of mine, i have to say. evil

the shops have their decorations up now, the Christmas lights went up in town over last sunday, though they wont be lit until the Christmas market at the end of this month. i can understand craft shops getting Christmas stuff in early, a shop in town that has a craft section has it in all year round, but starting on the festive songs now is a bit rediculous! the radio stations here wait until December for that. i suppose it's ok to have festive things in the shops now, it is only 6 weeks away gonk at least i've started my shopping this year ninja

Upset & tired. I have no idea why David dumped me, it could be for (one of) several reasons (the main one I'm thinking is I wasn't financially helpful enough which I put my hands up to) but he won't tell me which is really painful. Tired because me & dad did two runs to the storage unit to get my stuff. My bedroom is full & there's still so much to come back - I'm not even touching furniture or household items.
I've been left with the eMac for which I honestly can't thank him enough for.
I just wish so so badly David could've told me whatever was on his mind so that we could've worked through it, rather than him running away. Relationships aren't always a smooth ride. Dumping via text message is horrible especially when you've been together for years.
I need to find a proper job now which means I'll most likely have to go back into retail which I loathe.
I feel like a fool because I've been lied to for a year, despite having previous relationships David was my first love. I hope one day he'll have the guts to finally talk to me again.

sad i'm sorry Reap, that's a cruddy thing to have happen to you. maybe one day he will explain to you why, it's not fair to leave you hanging like that. when i split from my ex he told me he'd been having doubts for at least a year but he never spoke to me about them, if we'd spoken about things sooner we'd have been able to make some changes and sort things out, but because he kept things inside for so long there was no chance to make things better. all i can say is this, you live and learn though experiences like this, they hurt, sometimes for a long time, but they're part of life and are character building and all that bollocks neutral i hope you find a new job that you enjoy, this is a chance for you to persue your own dreams and turn things around and make your life good, make the best of it 3nodding

Thanks. =3
Sure dad wants to kill him but I don't. I'm not bitter, just deeply saddened. I've been kinda conditioned towards this because his visits were getting further & further apart.
He never could talk to me about serious problems & we didn't really argue often. We're making the last big run today - I'll have to dump the remainder of my stuff in mums room then I'll have to tidy her room up to make room for everything. Our house is very cluttered, my parents aren't very good at throwing things away. Speaking of which it's time I finally sorted through my old toys & took a good amount of them to a charity shop.
I feel stupid because my rage towards housing & so many other things was probably based on the lies I was told so I've been ranting out of my arse basically. sweatdrop
Dad says I had him on too high a pedestal which I did but I guess it's easy to do with your first love/long term relationship. I don't regret our time together, David has shown me a lot of things.
