@Dart: no worries about the Tournament. Turns out our failed battle may have been partly screwed due to my router's firewall settings; I had to actually call the Nintendo of America customer service to finally fix it to trade with Lorika
@anyone who cares: I left my Haxorus sleeping in the dream world since last night... I haven't had the time/energy to run the hour in the actual site games, so if you can find my island, feel free to stop by and drop a Dream Pal request. I probably won't be waking him up until tomorrow night at earliest

I had this crazy idea today. I was thinking about what Pokemon I'd want to breed later on, and then for some reason a discussion I had with my friends at school popped into my head. One of my closest friends since high school (hah, I sound so old when I say that xd ) was talking about how her Ditto was going to be getting a workout, and another girl piped up and said "You're going to be pimping Ditto, huh?", to which she answered "Yep!" And then that lead to this thought: there should be an online Pokemon breeding show called "Pimp My Ditto". Thoughts? XD

Speaking of Dittos...
You know how if you talk to the perverted old man, he says something that you can use to tell if you will get an egg? ('they hate each other', for example)
Apparently none of my pokemon like ditto, and it seems that an eevee egg will not be coming
Or did I just not wait long enough?

If the pokemon "don't like each other much", then they will produce an egg, but it will take longer than if the message was "they seem to get along" or something like that. If the guy says that they "prefer to play with other pokemon more than each other", then you won't get any eggs.
I'm guessing you got the "don't like each other much" message, because Eevee and Ditto will most definitely breed.
The breakdown of the odds are like this:
-Different Original Trainers, same species ---> quickest egg production
-Same OT, same species / Different OTs, different species --> medium-speed egg production
-Same OT, different species ---> slow egg production
-Unbreedable ---> no eggs (obviously)

For those of you who have earned an Eevee evolution from the online minigame, they will be available on the Dream World starting on Thursday, May 19th. No word yet as to how long the pickup time frame will be.

I'm hoping to get a Reshiram plushie at this anime convention I'm going to this weekend. That way when I'm at the Pokemon photoshoot and get teased when I'm cosplaying Team Rocket, I can say that I have the "Blue Eyes White Dragon" as my trump card XD
Can you say "screw the rules, I'm in Team Rocket"? XD
And then of course, there's the idea of messing with a Ghetsis cosplayer.... "DEEEENNIS....DEEEEENNIS....8D"

The day before Black and White came out, there was an event in NYC at the Nintendo World Store that had a couple people cosplaying as Team Rocket members, complete with bags with "stolen pokemon" (plushies). To top it off, they were each wearing TrollFace masks. It was amazing.
@Rocket: You should totally say those lines (especially the "Screw the rules, I'm in Team Rocket" one). Also, if you get pictures at the convention, you should start a thread to share with us, 'cause it sounds really cool

@Red: Hah I should shouldn't I? And I'm planning to take lots more pictures than last year! I only took two, and they were of the same thing (Team Rocket members beating the heck out of Team Magma and Aqua members lol). I got caught up in too many other things and forgot XD
I will try my best to get all the pictures online and make a thread about it...maybe I'll make a deviantART account a little earlier than I'd planned... mrgreen

I tried taking a picture... but I moved the camera too early and missed it. confused There might be a YouTube clip somewhere though... maybe search for "Pokemon Black NY Pre Release" or something like that (the reason I was there was because attendees had the opportunity to buy the game 24 hours before the official release date)

Haha nice! That reminds me...a friend of mine did a Ninetails cosplay last year, and she made all of the nine tails herself. They were really soft and she had people "feeling her up all day" (her quote, not mine lol)
