The ninja closed his eyes, his senses extending beyond the distraction. He tried to pinpoint her, but it was difficult with the sounds. Then, with a jumping movement, he dove into the shadows of a tree nearby. He was certain he had been seen going behind it, but being in the shadow had more benefits then being out.

Back at the campsite, the sound of gunshots reached Bolt's ears.
"What was that?"

Keioko sighed softly and walked out into the clearing by the spring.
"Coward..." She murmured just barely loud enough for him to hear her. She folded her arms within her sleeves and close dher eyes, waiting for him to attack her.

The ninja was in the same place he was before. He threw the three shuriken out of his hand and at Kei. They curves and seperated in a long arc that ended up with all three of them coming together from three different directions at her head.

She teleported, just as the ninja would think that the knives would hit her, though they went through a blackish mist instead. Keioko had enough of these games. She wanted to finish her bath and go back to the camp to sleep. She reappeared in the same spot as before, glaring at the ninja.
"Have you had about enough of this as I have?"

The ninja didn't speak, instead he readied his ninjato and pulled a kama off of his back with his other hand. He spun it and stood with the ninjato held ove rhis head, pointing at Keioko. He wanted to fight.

She sighed impatiently and tilted her head to the side with a look of boredom in her eyes.
"Let's finish this quick so I can finish my bath and go to bed."

With a serpentine voice, the Ninja finally spoke. He hissed, "You'll die for your sins yet, Assassin."
He then rushed her with incredible speed for a human, his ninjato coming down at her neck, and his kama attacking from the side to her left shoulder.

She smirked genially and nodded. He was still slow for being inhuman. She quickly drew both her blades simultaneously, one brought up to block his ninjato, the other to have the chain of the kama wrap around. She knocked awa the other black and yanked on the chain to try and force him towards her so she could stab him for a quick and easy kill.

He allowed himself to be pulled towards her, but it soon proved to have some problems. He released the kama and pulled his mask down, revealing an odd tatoo on his mouth. His lips parted and he released a shrill scream directly in Keioko's face. It was loud enough to break glass, and high enough to cause a human's ears to bleed. It lasted less then a second, but the echo reverberated throughout the area.

The scream hurt Keioko's ears, which in turn were far more sensitive to those of a human's. She fell to her knees and clutched her ears with one hand, relasing a blade which fell to the ground. She then swung her other at the ninja's knees in hopes of incapacitating him while she recovered.

The ninja flipped back, now weilding only his ninjato. In his hurry to get away, he laughed and said, "We are each specifically picked for our targets."
He pulled out a kunai, "I am the quickest, and the one that uses sound as an attack. I was chosen to kill you."
He was now far enough away from her for her ninjato to be of no threat to him, until she could clear the distance. However, he would be ready to release a sonic wave should she get closer.

As he spoke, the kunai he'd thrown a few moments back unhinged themselves from the tree and turned themselves around to face the ninja's back. They soon came flying towards him in a blur of motion, one aimed at the back of his head, one towards his spine, then other at his tailbone. Keioko had recovered quickly enough, standing and picking up hersecond blade.

He jumped into the air, throwing his kunai at the shuriken coming towards his head. Luskily, h was high enough so as to be out of the way of the other two. He then turned back around and shreiked a sound attack that ripped the bark from the trees in front of him. It was aimed at where Keioko was before he jumped.

Kane was looking out into the forest, having heard the gunshots as well, "I would...go out therre to check, but I would get lossst again..."

Kagi had sensed the disturbance in the Force as soon as the battle had started, but had chosen to remain in his meditative state. He was more alert than he had been, more conscious than not, but he was taking this opportunity to see how well his new comrades could handle themselves.
After all, there was still the outside possibility that the Sith would attempt to move on this system. And if they did, he could not very well fight a war and keep the native population safe from the Sith.
So for the time being, he was content to monitor the fight through the Force, all the while reinforcing his 'tripwire' senses in the area surrounding them, remaining on alert for any attacks directly against them.
