Lt. Surge "Use shock wave now." He said waiting for an opportunity to strike. "Ha, you took the bait." he now said laughing as the shock wave was moving repidly due to the charge that ampharos used.Felix stood up in excitement. "Watch it, it`s a direct hit."

"I'm not letting that happen. Ivysaur, use Protect." Ivysaur created a shield that stopped the Shock Wave. "Awesome, while you're behind it, use Growth once more." Ivysaur nodded and its body grew a bit more.

Lt. Surge "Use shock wave again." The same thing happen, except it was going a bit slow, but still faster than normal.

"Ivysaur, dodge it." Ivysaur rushed to dodge and it just grazed it. "Now, use Energy Ball." Ivysaur then shot a powerful attack at Ampharos, stronger because of the Growths it used earlier.

Lt. Surge "Use charge." With that said the ampharos took the damage only taking about a quarter less of the damage due to the charges it use earlier. This lead to an explosion of the charge and the energy ball. "This is getting exciting, but I won´t let you have this badge that easily. Use charge beam now." As the smoke got a bit clearer a beam of electricity was shoot at ivysaur.

"Use Protect again." Ivysaur used Protect and stopped the attack again. "Hurry and use Sunny Day." Suddenly the room grew much brighter and after the attack faded. "Now, use Solarbeam." Ivysaur used a powerful Solarbeam increased from the Growths and Sunny Day.

Lt. Surge "use charge beam at the solarbeam." He said getting serious now. The two beam collided leaving an orb of energy in the middle. "Now use charge." The ampharos electrical power was growing.

She watched the two attacks collide and she looked serious. "I'm not waiting for that again. Ivysaur, use another Energy Ball." Ivysaur shot another blast at Ampharos while it charged up.

Lt. Surge Ampharos took the hit, barely standing. "My pokemon are though. Use signal beam." the move hit ivysaur and it was a bit powerful due to the charge beam.

Ivysaur was knocked back a ways from the signal beam and it was trying to stand. "Ivysaur. Try healing yourself with Synthesis." Ivysaur nodded and healed itself a bit quicker because of the Sunny Day, still brightening the room.

"Yo Mina! Think fast!" Celic said as he tossed over a Super Potion to Mina and continued to say with determination, "Don't falter Mina! Keep him pressured and on the ropes! He may have military training on his side but you can still beat him... I know you can." as his voiced softened toward the end of the sentence.

She turned when she heard her name and caught a Super Potion that Celic tossed her. When he supported her, she smiled and nodded. "Thanks." She turned back to the battle. "Um.....am I allowed to use this just once?"

Lt. Surge "Usecharge beam while it is charging, now." Ampharos shoot another powerful charge beam towards ivysaur. He then saw what a kid did. "Helping her out huh." He said this while crossing his arms. He then though of something. "You may, as long as you skip your next turn and have ivysaur take the hit. If not then no." Felix saw this as unfair, and stod up, again. "Hey, you can´t do that to her, just because she wants to heal her poke..." He got interupted. "I dont know who you are kid, but I don´t recall the rules saying that another trainer may heal a challenger during a gym battle."Felix then sat down. "True enough." He then faced mina, and said. "Sorry Mina, I tried."

She didn't like his response and thought it was unfair so she told Ivysaur to stand strong and it took the hit, standing but barely and she rushed out and healed it with the super potion. "It's ok Felix. I won't let him rattle my cage." She finishes and gets back to her place. "Ok, Ivysaur. Add onto that healing by using Synthesis." Ivysaur healed the rest of itself and when it finished, the Sunny Day faded away.

'Grrrr, damn you Surge.' Celic thought as he glared at Lt. Surge before looking at Ivysaur as it used Synthesis, the Ivysaur gave him a bit of a glance at it made eye contact with Celic, Celic merely nodded at the Ivysaur before it focused back into the battle.
'It'll hold... I know it can... and she can do this... I know she can' Celic thought as he gave a bit of a smile before covering his eyes with his hat and then saying, "You got him Mina... Don't let the Lieutenant make you think otherwise... he only thinks he has you" he said with a chuckle and a smirk.
