"Of course he is." Kai said scooping Jessica up and floating up into the air. "It's faster this way." he said smiling. "I promise I won't drop you." Kai said crosing his heart as he took them higher into the air.

Jessica blinked, blushing a little when she was suddenly getting scooped up by him. Chuckling, she nodded, "I know you won't." She murmured, calling her assistant then to let him know what was going on. Once the conversation was done, she clicked the phone shut, putting it back in her bag.

Kai laughed as Jessica put her phone away. "Do you always do that?" he asked as they leveled out and headed over a moutain range. Kai cleared his throat and took on the air of a tour guide. "And if you would please look below you, you will notice Galtica. Galtica is the only land-based out post of my people. Seeing as we live mostly in cloud cities compromised of a fluid building material we call jhit, promnounced 'hit'. Galtica is the most prosperious of the trade towns since it is the only gateway to the sky cities and is the only makertplace where all of my people send the over 90% of the produce needed to feed all of the planets population." Kai turned to Jessica and smilied, slowly going into a decent. "Any questions?" ((Here's the city))

"Eh? Yes." Jessica murmured in answer, glancing down when he started to act like a tour guide, which made her giggle. Promptly, her eyes widened and she had to twist around a bit while pulling out the HD video camera she had put in her bag, recording what she was seeing and what Kai was saying. Blinking, she had never seen anything like it, glancing up to him with a wide grin. "Would it be possibly to take a couple of samples of, "jhit?" I mean, I understand if you and your people would rather not." She was with-holding the 'giddy-as-a-school-girl' reaction, but it was quite apparent in her eyes.

"You can have a sample to study while you are here. Unfortunatly jhit can only survive in the special conditions created by this planet, and jhit holds its structure through the collective subconcious of my people." Kai said smiling. "So befoere your brain jumps into ovedrive on how to use it back on earth...Sorry." Kais said shrugging his shoulders. "Any other questions?" he asked as he leveled the off at 20 feet off the ground and created a solid circle of cloud under them for them to stand on, although he kept an arm around Jessica.

Jessica brightened, not seeming detered at all by the fact it couldn't be used on Earth. "Oh no, it's completely alright! I don't mind that at all." She nodded once as if to confirm it, glancing down to the city as they leveled off, letting out a giggle. She did have to steady herself against him when they stood on the cloud, exhaling slowly as she brushed her hair back. "So how do you go from here to the sky cities? I mean, do all of you control the elements? Or do you have transportation between them? If so, what kind and what is it run on?" Blushing a little as she realized it was a lot of questions at once, she gave a nervous chuckle. "Sorry."

Kai laughed, "In order that you asked.... We fly. Well the different people amoung us who can visit us, for the others." Kai shrugged. "They either have to be carried up or come to visit Galtica. All of my people control at least one element. Only the high leader is born with the ability to control all of the elements. The only transportation is a kind of personal taxi service, like the one I am providing now. And that's all Neko power." Kai said smiling, he turned and winked at Jessica. "Next boombardment of questions please." he joked.

Jessica chuckled a little as he indulged her, listening as she wrote it all down, making sure a thin, memory card like device caught everything he said. The video camera had returned to her purse, looking up to him as he spoke. This was all so fascinating, she couldn't wait to hear about the other races! She laughed at that, clicking the recorder to stop it from recording anymore. "I'd ask how this was all possible, but that would be like asking why do we breathe. So, I shall refrain from that. High leader.... so do you have a monarchy sort of system? Or one with a council?" She murmured, trying to be careful with how she phrased things since she didn't want to offend.

Kai smiled at Jessica's question. "The High leader is of blood decent and is raised amoung his people. Not in a castle as your leaders did... We hold a concil of experts and elders for each people. Usually the concils gather in a Grand Hearing twice a year to descuss problems and issues between the people. Our concil is called Yurti, pronounced U-r-tea. The concil can make decisions, but those decision can be over-ruled by the High Leader if he deems it nessecary. That is hardly even done since the High Leader does participate in the concil... The concil can like wise over-rule the High Leader, but to a lesser extent. But on certain topics the High Leader's word is law." Kai looked at Jessica, "You don't have to be afraid to offend... That's nearly impossible." he said smiling.

Jessica recorded his answer, her expression almost child-like with it's curiosity. "It sounds similar to the parliament system that England has. Well, the eletoral system of it." She murmured when he finished, nodding once to show she understood. Blushing a little as he caught her, she chuckled a little, the device already off and back in her purse since she wasn't going to have him answer anymore. Not for the moment. She had to let him get some kind of break. "It's a habit since on Earth it can be so easy to offend and not realize it." She said with a light chuckle, running a hand through her hair to brush it back.
Arya's brows were furrowed in both deep concentration and worry. She did not like the results and implications of this data at all. There was a half-empty cup of tea next to her, something mixed along with it to help her stay awake. Finishing it off in one gulp, she leaned forward and began typing, moving some of the images to the side with her hand so she could look at them all on the large screen in front of her. No one is going to like this..... Recording all of her findings, she placed them on the datapad that her superiors had given her, making sure that all of it was there. She had a copy herself and could easily extrapolate further, especially if they had more for her.
Groaning, given the nature of the later meeting, she would have to present what she had found to the Council. Looking as she was, that would not really fly. She had gotten out of her armor and normal outfit for something more comfortable. Twirling a ball of light around her body, her clothes changed to what the council normally saw her in, rubbing her eyes. Heading upstairs into her house after shutting off mostly everything even though she was still running part of an analysis on something, she locked the door to the basement and cast the usual guard spells, increasing the security and the encryption so that it would be just about impossible to break in.
Checking her appearance in a mirror, she used the light and water to make the deep, dark circles beneath her eyes vanish so it didn't look like she was severely sleep deprived. Holding the datapad under her arm, she waited for the familiar tug, promptly getting taken away to her people to report.

"Well we are a little bit more lax about that kind of stuff considering there are so many different people sharing the same planet." Kai said taking them to the heart of the city, passing over stores and bustling streets with vendors selling food and nik-naks.

Jessica felt a soft smile flitter across her lips before vanishing, if only Earth could be that way. She watched the neko's running around in the markets, her camera in hand and recording. She had grown quiet, wondering if humans could learn from these people, all the people of this planet for that matter, those lessons that still plagued them and that they ignored.

"You seem absorbed in some sobering thought." Kai said in a lowered voice, gently elbowing Jessica. "I will have none of that. Seriousness is required to be left behind on the ground on this planet." he said mock serious and lecturing as he tried to keep a straight face.

Jessica looked up at the elbow in her side, smiling faintly as she thought of her home as it was now. "My home..... it's in turmoil. I don't know the extent of your observations of it, but things.... aren't good." She murmured, the corners of her mouth barely tilting up into a small smile. "Here, we could learn so much, but they are as closed minded as Brother Mathias and the rest. They had to hide me and my team in a facility for our protection." She told him, straightening as her camera vanished, leaving her hands bare. "It's hard for me not to be serious. I apologize for that." She looked at him then, brushing the hair from her face.

Kai laughed, "You need not worry so about your planet. It is still a young one." he stated simply as he brought them close to a sparkling lakes water. "Our planet was much the same as yours long ago. Our people fought for supremecy, for religion, for dominance, and out of hatered and ignorance... But I think we've turned out alright so far." he said smiling at Jessica, he winked. "It's not the past you need to worry about, nor the future. But the path your feet touch now." Kai stuck a mock thinking pose. "Wow. That was really deep... I should have probally written that down."
