Wolffang thought back to all the battles and blood ShadowClan has seen and all the cats that have been lost in battle. "Peace is best so long as the other Clans stick to their territory" he said, a hint of resentment in his voice. I would still fight with the all the ferocity of LionClan if anyone tried to invade our territory! He looked at Greystar for a moment then answered Shadowstep. "I'm sure even Greystar wouldn't be mouse-brained enough to try attacking another Clan after she has only just recovered."

Shadowstep snarled. "Cats invading our territory! That's a different matter. Anyone who tries that will be attacked, sick leader or no."
After pondering for a moment, Shadowstwp replied, "I would hope so." Stretching, she added, "Though I don't know. When leaders lose lives, they heal fully, correct?" Shadowstep eyed Greystar. "She looks pretty strong to me."

Darkfoot shrugged thoughfully. "In Greystar's case, yes, since he 'died' of a sickness, he is now fully healed. Being a medicine cat, you can't help but worry." She smiled. "But, say, he got serious wounds in a battle and 'died', StarClan only heals the deadly wound."

(Yeah, in my old guild they sort of just skipped that and pretended that the kits were born. But we do need some action, not much os going on...)

Greystar surveyed her Clan with blazing grey eyes, her chest blown out to its full extent, fur glossy and well-groomed, ears pricked, tail held high. The overall effect what quite impressive, especially in comparison to the diminished shell of a leader Greystar had been mere minutes ago. Perched on High Rock, her slim figure caught a brilliant shard of sunlight. Her bengal pelt gleamed, and her teeth shone brilliantly white as she parted her muzzle to speak.
"ShadowClan!" she purred, her voice spilling over her lips with renewed force. She gazed down at the cats of ShadowClan; the cats of her Clan; the cats she would willingly give the remainder of her lives for; her family. She drew in a deep breath, gathering herself for one last announcement. She knew it would be all she needed to say, all she would need to reassure her Clan. She knew they put their full faith in her; she had an extremely large prescence, an unmatched will that earned her respect in all Clans. A blazing fury dwelled somewhere within Greystar, shaped by the paws of her loyalty and determination. It was almost visible through her eyes. They say the eyes are the window to the soul; perhaps it is true. Greystar raised her maw for one last remark before turning and dissappearing back into her den.
"The Pheonix has returned."

Darkfoot smiled. Greystar had always had this way with words, in the smallest sentences, ment much. She flicked her tail, mewed goodbye to the cats she was standing next to, and headed in to her den, trying to get rid of the sickness smell.

Rocktalon cheerfully went over to Cottonpaw. Once she reached Cottonpaw she realized how tired she was. "Cottonpaw, I'm going to rest for a while then we can continue your training. I'd advise you to nap too, we have had quite a big day today."
Spottedpath's eyes gleamed. With Greystar well again we are easily the strongest clan in the forest! He turned to Wildpelt and said "Greystar is an amazing cat, isn't she?" The way he said those words showed his respect and admiration for the clan leader.

A soft purr rumbled in the tiny chest of the white apprentice. Her green eyes down cast as a pink tongue brushed her snow white paws. She was stretched in a patch of sun as she happily groomed her pelt.
The white she cat was cleaning the last of her soft pelt, working her paws to prepare for her casual adventure she liked to attempt every so often.
This was Whitepaw, she was some what of a trouble maker. Always getting ready to bounce off to see what she could discover by herself.

Wolffang got up from where he had been seated for the announcement. "You never cease to amaze me, Greystar" he mumbled to himself as he headed towards the elder's den. After walking a few tail-lengths away he noticed the familiar white pelt of Whitepaw. He padded over behind her. "Now, I hope you don't plan on getting yourself into trouble, Whitepaw." He mewed to her teasingly then gave her a soft flick on the ear with his tail.

Whitepaw had stood, her green eyes scoping the clearing. She pretty much jumped as she heard the voice of Wolffang's advance. Stiffening slightly, her 'innocent' green eyes flickered up to him.
"I don't really plan to get in trouble. But I'm sure no one does. I merely plan to go... on a short walk." She meowed, a smile painting her face. "I'm sure no one could object to getting some safe fresh air." She meowed, putting on a purr.

Wolffang let out a sigh. There wasn't much he could do to stop her from venturing off. "Just make sure you have a warrior with you, otherwise you'll be changing out my bedding and cleaning ticks off my pelt." He gave a small grin then padded off to the elder's den.
