sighing, tommy shook his head. "you're really pathetic, you know." he mumbled, glaring at him. his eyes searched the premisis as he spoke. they were next to an old staircase, worn and ready to break. and also some crates. mind wizzing, he went and retrieved his hammer, and placed it back in his belt. "well... i guess we've just gotta do as the man says, guys." said tommy, sighing, shrugging, letting his arms fall limply to his sides. after we die first, he thought to himself silently. i've got a plan....

Now Lia is not one to get angry easily. But the way Taez was acting and despite everything she'd said about the being Tommy's fight she marched forward out of saftey's grasp, and in front of Taez.
"Let her go, you jerk." She yelled. "Or else." She clenched her fists. Really, she had no idea what she was doing. She was just sort of making it up as she went.

Looking over to Lia, he rolled his eyes. Sticking out his tongue, he went up Kouri's cheek.
"WHAT. THE F***!" Kouri yelled, and suddenly starting kicked and struggling. Staring, he put one around around her arms and pinned her still. "I mean it!" He yelled. "Now go quietly! And MAYBE I'll let her off....With a little extra."

"You...!" Lia frowned and his face twisted into a distraught expression. "Let her go!" She kicked him hard in the shin hurting her own foot.

Yelling in pain, he doubled over, bending Kouri as well. The knife slid across her neck, and she hissed, biting her lip to stop making any noise. Glaring, Taez grabbed Lia's hand, yanking her close. "You went way to far, stupid!" He growled dangerously. "No, YOU did!" Looking around, Ren was behind him. Swinging, he smashed the metal pole into his temple, making him fall, dragging Kouri with him. "GAAK!" Yelping, Kouri smacked the ground..."THANKS." She squeaked.

"lia!" yelled tommy. he walked up to her, threw her over his shoulder, and stomped back over to ren. "i have a plan..." he whispered, so softly lia could barely even hear him. "we have to do what he says, lia... even if it's hard." this he said loudly, so that taez could hear. "we don't have a choice. we need kouri to stay alive." his eyes told teh story to ren. then he turned and faced taez. "i'm going to approach you." he warned, so that he didn't freak. walking slowly up to him, he was soon close enough to maybe shake hands with him. "what do you want us to do?" he asked calmly, glancing at kouri. he hoped that glance was enough for her. she was smart.

"Put me down first..." Lia whispered quietly, her rage almost disapaited after the outburst.

After Tommy put her down, Lia went next to Ren.

Pulling her over more, Ren held her by her shoulders, looking at her. "Are you okay?!" He asked, breathless. He looked INCREDIBLY worried.
Meanwhile, Taez, struggling to sit up, winced. Blood was flowing from his head. Trying to scramble to her feet, Kouri lunged, but Taez grabbed her ankle, and jerked violently, causing her to slam her head to the ground. Her mind slowly went into a buzz, and it sort of felt like she was floating. "Uhhhnn...." Wincing, she let her head hit the ground. Her sight actually went blurry, and blacked out. Staring, she started to feel heavy. Her eyes started closing on her own.
"You ain't getting away!"
That voice wormed its way into her brain, swimming around in her mind, echoing.
"You ain't never gettin' away!"
It all went dark, her eyes rolling into the back of her head.

"I'm fine, really." Lia answered. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the chain of events happening. "Kouri." She left Ren (yet again...) to help her. "Ren help." She pleaded. Taez wasn't going to let Lia just help her like that, obviously.

Grabbing Taez from behind in a head lock, he pulled back, choking him. "If you want air, you're gonna have to let go!" He snapped irritably.

Choking, Taez let go. He wasn't THAT stupid. Still holding him, Ren said "We gotta get out of here....She's bleeding like crazy. You don't think....He got her blood vein, do you?" He was now worried once again. If Taez had, she would definitely be bleeding to death....

"Oh god, I don't know." Lia wiped her forehead. She, barely successful, picked Kouri up as delicatly as she could, getting blood all over her clothing. She couldn't carry her friend like this, not with nothing preventing her from dying in her arms. She needed something to cover Kouri's paling neck and keep some blood still in her body.

well, there goes my plan... "give her here!" said tommy urgently, pulling his shirt off to expose the muscular body beneath. wrapping it against her neck, he said, "applying pressure lessens the loss of blood..." he took her in his arms, then put lia on his back. "keep pushing on that spot of her neck," he instructed. "ren, let's go... good work, by the way. we owe you one." he glared at taez, then grabbed his hammer, swung, hit him, and watched with a secret pleasure as he hit the ground, unconcious.

Lia did as Tommy said as they left. She reached her arms around his neck to try her best to stop Kouri's bleeding.
