((Night Ouji-kun^^))
"I wasn't talking about vampires..."
Icarus stared at Armand before he sat up, painfully but he did, he looked at his painting and frowned. The boy got up and went to the other side of the bed where he knelt down and searched for something under the bed. "Hmm, I really don't know how that would be a fight any way but fine." He shrugged as he searched.

"They call vampires devils, that was what I was pointing out. Although the difference in wording seems to stump most of you humans. . . You're my candy, and without it I'll go crazy. I couldn't care too much if you decided to silt your wrist and go jumping off the leaning tower of Piza just as long as you don't die in your coma afterwards."
Armand wasn't trying to be setimental or romantic. He could do that without trying after living through a couple of generations of humans. They all seemed to fall for the gentle words and cooing. That wasn't something he intended on doing, but just teasing Icarus alone was bringing out a side in him that he hadn't found in years. He stood, his shoes soundless on the floor as he walked to the window.
"Oh, you'll want to get away. . . I'd imgine it isn't very nice to feel a parasite sucking you blood while you just sit there. Excepcially with the thoughts running that are through my head right now. But that's fine. We shall see."
He turned and left the apartment, gracefully jumping through the window then walking down the street. Having no plans to return to that place before night, he walked down to the main street with his bland smile. Maybe if he looked hard enough, he would find a place without the arid scent of food or heat of sunlight where he could work. Not that he needed the money. Sure enough, a hospital came into view. He stopped. Surely he could be a doctor, but with all that blood he would definitely get into a fight with his human. No hospitals. Maybe another restaraunt if he was bored enough. Or he could run for president or prime minister then feign suicide. That was always fun.

Icarus paused in his search for a duffle bag that held all his extra paint. Jumping off the leaning tower of...now why would I do that? He shook his head at the thought, stumped by it, and continued his search by laying on the floor and going under his bed somewhat.
"Hmm." was all Icarus said as he slowly crawled under his bed. "Ah, there it is!" the boy crawled out from under the bed and climbed up onto the bed, he looked around. "Where did he go?"

(( I feel so cold. . . I'm wearing what I normally wear, but I guess I have to put on more for autumn. A vest and jeans. And I'm fricken' freezing!! crying ))

Armand looked around, walking aimlessly through the crowd, his eyes on the children mostly. The little creatures fascinated him and made him smile, but he would have no qualms about scaring one or breaking a little arm. They were like ants. You could always find more somewhere. He sneered at a girl as she smacked into him while running from her brother. She looked up, her tiny lips parted, her cheeks rosy from the exctied run.
"Sorry mister!" She squealed, before turning around the vampire and continuing to run as the little boy found her.
Armand simply frowned and brushed off his jeans where the girl had bounced into him. He wasn't in the fondest of moods right now, and that had given him a reason to stay close to the walls. He passed a group of mothers who were excitedly chatting about their babies who slept in the stollers in front of them. He smirked as they watched him pass and when he was assumeably out of earshot, the lady with purple streaks in her brown hair sounded horrified.
"That boy who just passed us looked so scary! I hope my Cecilia doesn't start going out with one of them when she's sixteen!"
Armand allowed himself a laugh at that. She just thought he was human. Of course the woman would have been terrified if her daughter was to be going out with a blood sucking immortal in a few years. She would think, after that, that goths were't so bad after all.

((Then put something on. I happen to like that cold. ^^))
Picking up the bag he felt it was too light, he looked in side and felt like screaming. Inside it was completely empty. Damn mother found her way into the apartment again! He put the bag down and went in search for his cell, once he found it he called his mom who lived on the other side of town.
"Mo-" he was cut off by her eternal ranting that usualy made no sense.
"You know, you really shouldn't paint its not good for you and you know that I don't aprove of it." She paused to breathe. "Now, i'm not giving you back any of that paint."
"Good god mother, will you let me speak before you start ranting! I;m eighteen, you don't control my life and I want that paint back or do I have to go buy more!?" If he had his window closed you'd be able to hear his voice but not very clearly, he wasn't shouting but he had raised his voice so that his mom would have a hard time cutting him off.
There was silence. "I'm not bringing it to you." she breathed in defeat. "Come get it."
"Thanks mom." She hung up as he was talking. "Nice to talk to you too." Icarus closed his cell and saw his necklacce on the floor. He picked it up and put it on before leaveing the appartment.

Armand was still sirmking half way down the street, until he saw a preist walking out of a shop ahead of him. It wasn't that he feared crosses. Those did nothing but look pretty. It was the concentrated, so called holy water and the sharp objects that could mean dismemberment. The holy water had a special chemical in it that caused vampires to react strangely. They usually curled up on the ground and screamed, feeling their insides burn as the chemical- which they didn't have in their bodies- affected the organs that did not need it. There was a nutrient that the chemical acted up with to make haemogolbin for the blood cells, but since the vampires were undead, they did not need a living chemical inside of them, poisoning their bodies into eventual, painful, but true death.

The Achyls's eyes widened, trying to avoid the priest by ducking to the shop next to him. A bakery. That was great. . . The odour of pastries and icing swept over him at once and he gritted his teeth but pretended to look at the food. The priest had been summoned out of his chruch, for either an exorsism or so destroy a vampire. He didn't want to risk that it was the vampire reason, so he ungraciously accepted the bag of free food that was thrusted into his face by a cashier.
"Have a nice day!"
He mocked the boy as he turned his back, scowling and slowly making his way around the store to buy him some time.

(( Lucky you. Man, I make up so much crap. . . ))

((Heh. ^^ And I didn't understand the thing about the chemical sweatdrop So they don't have water in their body's or something?))
Icarus limped down the street, he was having a hard time walking, that had some people on it. He had decided it best to stay on streets that had people at least until he got to his mothers. His mother lived in a more sucluded part of twon so there was rarely anyone of the streets over there.

He could smell different types of food but none interested him at the moment even though he was starting to get hungry. People stared at him wondering why he was walking around if he was hurt. If they had asked him he would have said he needed to get something and if they asked further he would snap at them and tell them to leave him alone. The necklace chimmed as he walked and the sound always made Icarus smile even now he had a small smile on his face.
The street started to empty as he made his way to his mothers to get his paint back. Obviously he would go through great lengths to get his paint if he was almost out.

The vampire reached the end of the display shelves and gladly half ran, half stumbled into the fresh air. He took a deep breath, then found himself looking at the preist once again. He was giving a child a small ribbon, standing merely six feet away from the undead man. He turned, not at all please with the way this day was continuing, and carefuly walked passed the old man. His heart like a burning lump in his chest and walking away as quickly as possible was all he could do to stop himself from running full out. He would have bit his tongue, but then his fangs would have gone right though it as per normal.
Gripping the bag of food, he walked down to the corner before disappearing into a dark alley. The sun would just have to be tolerated. He would rather the heat than the preist any day. In two minutes he was on the roof of a hotel, looking over the edge and peering down at the specs of colour that were people on the ground. He strode over to the far side then proceeded to walk across the thin beams that the flags hung on, to the other building's roof. Then he smiled and exhaled in a jerky chuckling manner.
"What a way to drew attention to myself," He said, realizing that if anyone looked up they would see him. He hurried onto the other roof and began searching for another crowded street. The more noise the better.

(( Just a random chemical that they don't have. they need water though. . . Hydrochloric acid, or too little oxygen. Something like that. ))

(( I'm skipping all the walking stare ))
When Icarus finaly made it to his dedtination he had worked up a sweat and was panting a bit. Walking with a gun shot wound in the thigh and broken ribs wasn't a good idea so now his leg felt numb from the pain nd he was holing his side. "Why does she live so far?" he asked himself as he knocked on the door.
The door opened to a woman with long black hair that cascaded down her back, brilliant blue eyes and fair skin. She wore a white floral skirt and a white top with lace. Her eyes were soft but filled with worry. "Oh my, you should have told me that you got into another fight...I would have brought them to you."
Icarus got his blue eyes from his mom but everything else was of his father. "Mom its fine, I'm fine. just a little tired thats all." he rolled his eyes. "Now where is the paint?"

(( It's the stuff that breaks down food in you stomach. End of story. XD ))

Armand sat down on the edge of the roof he was on, his legs dangling over the side, staring the long distance down to the ground. A large stairway door stood beside him, leading off into the middle of the roof. It provided him with the sahde he was sitting in at the moment. There were no crowded streets. Everyone was at work or at school. He would have to wait until later to have a snack. He had heard human mothers telling their children not to have snacks before dinner, but he had neer taken that seriosuly. Vampires and humans were completely different with their eatting habits.
"Armand."
The vampire's head turned to greet another who now lowered hismelf to sit beside him.
"Mecracio," He greeted.
The two looked at each other for a while, then simultaniously leaned against each other's shoulder while looking across the roof tops.
"You have found a lovely place to hide from the sun."
"So I've realized."
"And you have found a feeding bag. Enticing I hope."
Armand stayed quiet, blinking and continuing to stare at at streets below. Mecracio simply nodded and picked up on the fact that Amrand did not know. It was always confusing for a while.
"They tend to fall for their feeding bags you know. It is a creature you grow to love."
"You're one to speak."
Mecracio had accidentally killed his own human the year before, and now was looking desperately for another.
"But I have found one. . . I'll see you later then."
"Yeah, next fifty years."
And with that, the other red head vampire seemed to vanish, although it looked to Armand as if he had gotten up and walked away.

((Thank you^^ Time to be locked in a guest room! twisted ))
Icarus's mom lead him to a room where she said she had put the paint but couldn't remember where in the room it was, she left her son to look for himself. He went over to the closet and started to look around when he heard the door shut and the lock turn. I have the strangest mom. The boy looked around for a window and found one but it was near the cieling and seemed to small for him. Atleast its open so I don't have to breathe in stail air.
He sat on the bed and stared at the wall. "Mom, unlock the door or i will try and breack it down" he shouted and hoped she had heard him. Of coarse Icarus could break a door down, he had done it before by putting all his body wieght into the door as he hit it and with a weak leg a probably wouldn't be able to but he would still gladly try.
After getting no answer, the boy laid back on the bed. He closed his eyes. If I could fit through that window that would be great...problem, how am i going to land. With one leg? I don't think so, plus it would probavly just make my injuries worse.

(( gonk What's Armand supossed to do now! oh well. He'll probably jus kill that kids mom. twisted ))

Armand tilted his head down, turning it so that he was looking at the railing over the roof to his left. The bricks were warm and their colour was fading from the rain and wind. He closed his eyes. Now Mecracio would tell his father where he was and that he had gotten a feeding bag. He would either be thrown out of the clan or be put up to ascent the top of the little family they had when his father decided to die. That was peachy.
"Speaking of food. . . " He held up the white bag, looking inside of it. There was a strange rolled up pastry with yellow jelly in the middle and a box of chocolates. Another small bag held some more things, but the vampire didn't want to explore the contents any further. He closed the bag and started to swing his feet out of boredom. Being a vampire meant everyday was the same. . . Well, most days.

He stood and made it to an alley a few houses down, then walked out to go to his favourtie hang out. A bar close to the middle of the city. He and the bartender were as close as he could get with a friend. How ironic. He didn't even drink and he was off to a bar. He supposed ohe was now old enough to, but he had been going there since he looked 14. Everyone had questioned his appearances there, but no one had kicked him out so he now went there every so often. It was one of those times, but as he walked, his mind slipped back to Icarus.
I'm sure he went out already. Oh well. I can't help him if he gets stuck. I don't know where he is. . . He just better be there when i get back.

((Umm, no. he can go search for the lad and talk his mom into letting him go and then he can kill her twisted JK))
Icarus drifted in a sleep like state, he was half conciuos but he knew what was going on around him. His mind reeled with ideas of how to get out of the room but all of them were shot down by his injuries. Once in awhile he would fully awake and stare at the door. "I'm telling the manager to never, never let her into my apartment." he grumbled. It would probably be the next day before he was let out of his prison.
Caged, caged is exactly what he felt like, like a wild animal that had been trapped and he was itching to get out and be himself. He smiled at what he was comparing himself to. "Did you plan this? Or did it pop into your head when I knocked on your door?" He asked loud enough that any one outside the door would hear him.
The boy curled up on the bed and decided it was best he sleep while he waited for an answer so that if he did try to break the door down he'd have enough energy.

(( Yay! 4laugh ))

Armand had spent a few carefree hours holding onto warm glasses of firewisky and wine. It didn't matter if it was stale or tasteless. He wasn't about to drink it. He also had had a small snack. A lady who had found him cute and wanted a bit of a rough time. He had wooed her into a dark corner of the room, sitting behind a table, and fed her so much wine that she eventually fainted. After that, he simply slit her forearm with the pressure of his fingernails and had about a cupful of the warm red substance. It wasn't as decilous as Icarus's had been, but it was something. He bound her arm in handkerchief, smashed a glass so that the cut looked accidental, then walked out with warmth in his veins and now in search of his meal.
The sun had gone down during that time, and he wondered if Icarus had returned home. He followed the orange and pink hues through the streets of teens and couples, then to the apartment where he had claimed the boy. But there was no one inside when he got there. He sat down to wait for. . . fifteen minutes. He felt rather sluggish, and curled up with his arms around his knees in the couch as he listened to the silence of time passing.

((Aww, the little guys lonely biggrin ))
Icarus laid there but he couldn't sleep. So much for the door thing... He smiled as he got, he was getting used to the pain from his ribs so it didn't really bother him, and went over to the window. The boy looked around and saw a night stand so he dragged it over to the window. "I hope I don't kill myself." he sighed.
Stepping up onto the hard wood surface of the night stand, Icarus lifted himself up to the window and started through it only to fall foreward to the ground. Thud. He was outside. Icarus blinked awhile, he had labded on his back, a huge smile spread over his face.
"That was actualy a bit fun." He got up and stretched. Now his back hurt. The blonde walked around the building and started down the street with his hands in his pockets.
