We need IKs. And a true jedi couldn't hurt either. Link is a loner, which is good, and Angel is just a grey, and no IKs.

It breaks sterotypical cognition that you have to be like luke or obi-wan to be a jedi.
You're kinda picking up a different mold than most jedi. You're more like Kyle Katarn than yoda, luke, kenobi, etc. More flexible, more potent, yet still can make a storyline that involves the core values.
It breaks the mold, i guess I'm trying to say.

And then there's angel, who's basically oola with force powers. I guess its just the title of "jedi" that is throwing me off.
Its like saying Joruus C'boath was a true jedi master.

The IKs are the newest incarnation of the greys, but there's always been a small group of the force user population which hid from view that did not follow either belief.
I guess because its the fact she's affilliated as a "rogue jedi" rather than a simple "grey". She doesn't follow the jedi at all, whereas a rogue jedi would act in the name and beliefs of the jedi, just in a differnet fashion.
