Malik's eyes narrowed. Nelphean. and not the Brightsaber, the other one..Nightblade, darkblade..something like that. what the hell was he doing here...before other sounds got his attention with thier disappearance.

"Son of a b***h."

And he raced back, Breaker in tow, to see the Displacer beasts all over the place. damn damn damn. the Breaker went to join his allies in defending the home, but those things were troublesome. A loud whistle, and those on teh battlements of his home picked up arrows and bow and started, and getting off Ramoth, swated her rump with his sword. she coudl get her herd to help defend if need be...and he went about defending his home, fighting with his forces.

that elf was going to at least get a beating for this. and he'd better pray that Sevilin's runes didn't come back before they found him.


"Ha. so there your living lizard lady. I'll let you get to work, brother, adn I'll go looking for those that I lost."

and he went out looking for Aella and Tarathiel...that wasn't too hard. blood and all...but when he did find them, and Warhammer, he wa nto pleased and panting.

"what happened? I sent her to get help while I deal with the lizard woman and she gets into more trouble? and my magic is gone...something's not right...anyone else have any kind of magic?"

Nelphean Nighblade was sitting in the manor drinking tea discussing life with Bastet at that moment.


This Nel was pinned to the deck by a knife wielding woman. He smirked. "What I want is revenge." A moment later, the dagger was stabbed into the deck beside the drow's head, and a kunai was pressed into her throat. "Revenge is something you should understand, Drow." They could play this game all day, but he didn't feel much like it. So, he sank the ship by throwing his kunai at a barrel, which exploded with the impact, and leaped off the ship, dissapearing into the darkness.

Fin bowed quietly beside Leaf.


Tarathiel looked at tehe vah and shrugged. Warhammer looked at Onyx for a moment, "Warren left." He returned to instructing the people on how to fix the wounded properly.

The surviving beasts retreated when Zahara returned to the fight. Only a handful of beasts died, and only a few Ogres as well. The skirmish was, afterall, only a distraction.

Malik dealt with this as best he could, adn when he saw Zahara he was about to say something when she threw up her hand at him and walked off. that damnable woman.

But things settled down, those dead ogres were promptly gathered and destroyed. burning wasn't used, as that might attract things, but acids worked. and leftover meat was moved to the tunnel leading to Twilight from teh ocrish lands..carrion crawlers should help keep the orcs at bay for now. though one could hear the sounds of thier war engine revving up. no scouts this way...so the Purian's were probably first, having suffered thier last loss at thier hands.

Then into the house, picking up his son and taking him to the main room, setting him down and working on getting his armor back on.

"I know this is a hard time. It's not easy on me either. I worry about your mom, and I know you do to. But she'll be alright. nothing will happen to keep her gone. once her task is done she'll be back quick as the wind. she has Serino with her, and she'll have support."

After getting him all dressed up again, and mussed his hair.

"I lost my mother and my family when I was very young. I won't let that happen to you, I promise. Nothing is going to happen to Piper. Now...I have to go give Zahara a lecture. want to come watch?"


Which left Onyx confused.

"Warren left? how's that affect magic? did I miss a meeting or something? and how's she doing? and how are you doing, Tarathiel? you alright? and you, Warhammer? nothing broken, no injuries?"

Glaring at the rather large bandage covering her shoulder, she sighed and then picked up the mess in the room before heading back downstairs and joining Keely in the dining room. "Thank you so very much Keely. I appreciate you taking care of the boys-" Wait. One was missing. "Where's Malikhai?"

Zykariel snuggled into Keely, unhappy now that both his mother and his best friend were gone. He reached out and snatched Rawr off the table where Malikhai had set him and hugged him tightly before his head came up. "Mommy!" Bolting out of Keely's lap and almost falling flat on his face scrambling off the chair, he flung himself at her and hugged her leg tightly.

"Hey little one. I told you I was coming right back." Petting through his hair. "I think Keely asked you a question. You need to be polite and answer her."

The child turned back but wouldn't let go of her and thought for a moment. "Malikhai's blocks please. And our pirate stuff but that's it."

"And Malik is going to give Zahara a lecture."

There was Malik, his son held up in one arm, and looking at Zahara none to pleased.

"The least you can do, when you demand my presence, is be there when I come to se what you want. and what in Innoruuk's cauldron were you doing tussling around with Nelphean. he's about as mentally unstable as Kimmuriel. and what the hell he's doing on this plane I'm not even sure I want to know. So, what complaints are you wanting to throw at me right now?"

"Right then...I'll see you when I get back. Leaf, Fin, let's go. Take care Meilikki." And no she didn't particularly care what Leaf and Fin thought of her at this moment, she wasn't in the mood to socialize or be nice. Thus back outside with her, giving a pet to Serino before mounting up on him and waiting.
