Sunny smiled with deep gratitude and kissed him on the cheek before taking another sip. She laughed as she watched Borus call his wife over and the two of them danced merrily behind the bar.

Kibo holds up his mug in acknowledgment as Borus points his way, telling his wife the story of what just happened.
Kibo: I'd better watch out, or "The Demon Admiral Of The Caribbean" may become a term of endearment, rather than of fear.

"Try being 'Pirate Princess Hinata Solei of the Orient'" Sunny laughed. "People used to hear my name and cower... Now they hear it and coo!" she joked as she waved at Borus's wife.

Kibo: People still hear my title, which seems to change as the winds do, and cower. Not that that's a bad thing.
He smirks, running his finger down the hilt of his dagger, Claire.

Sunny locked gazes with him as she took another long sip of her drink. "Tell me about her" she stated plainly, throwing him off entirely.

Kibo: Huh? Oh, you mean Claire? Oh, she was just a childhood friend of mine. She's the one who taught me how to kill wolves while I herded sheep with my family. She saved my life from a pack of wolves before, and got me interested in learning to fight. Without her, I would never be where I am today. Mostly because I'd have been wolf food.

"Not her... Mary Catherine" she said, feeling slightly startled that she could remember the woman's name. "I want you to tell me about her...." she was calm again as she put her hand over Kibo's and stared deep into his eyes.

Kibo sighed, once again recounting the tale that sent shivers down his spine every time he thought about it.
Kibo: Well, shortly after being "enlisted" into Farind's crew, against my will at the time, I tried to escape on an island, and was helped by Mary Catherine. Things happened, and I ended up thinking I was in love with her. We got married, and a few weeks after, stabbed me in the base of the spine in the middle of the night, and ran off. I didn't learn until recently that it was because she was pregnant with my son, Daniel, who is currently in the service of a man who wants desperately to kill me.

Sunny's eyes were glazed as she actually watched the events in his life unfold before her. She felt his emotions and tears leaked from her eyes though her expression remained unchanged. "He'll meet me soon. His heart will ache and his eyes will open. Soon the hurt will be banished from you both" she whispered as her lids started to drift.
Had Kibo not been focused entirely on Sunny he'd have seen the bartender nod firmly to himself before turning back to wiping the bar while his wife bit her lip.

Kibo's eyes opened wide again. This was the same as what happened on the Godspeed. The hollow voice, the glazed over expression. This wasn't the Sunny he knew.
Kibo: Sunny, are you alright?

Before she could blush or even argue her eyes rolled back then closed and her body fell limply to the floor. Her hair spilled out around her, cushioning her short fall to the ground so that no harm seemed to have been done.

She barely had time to hit the ground before Kibo had lifted her up.
Kibo: Sunny, wake up. Please, wake up... Boris, get me some water over here!

The kindly gent brought over a glass and looked over Sunny. "She needs plenty 'o rest. Looks te be that she's wore out, aye?" he asked, though he knew exacvtly what was going on. His wife scurried over with a cool press for Sunny's head. "Off with ye now, get her to a bead afore she catches cold! The poor dear looks as if strained! Go! Shoo!!" she said with genuine worry in her heart though she knew her husband meant best.

Kibo saw the worry coming off the man, and he grabbed him by the collar, slamming him against the wall, snarling in a voice that didn't sound like his own so much as it did a rattlesnake.
Kibo: What did you do to her?!

Borus was calm as he took Kibo's wrists in his and wrenched them from his person. "Ye need learn your place, boy. I know of ye and I know much more of Hinata. You'd best just get her home and worry once she's restin in a warm bed" the man stated with calm. Something about the man was calming and honest, but the man's wife could sense Kibo's turmoil.
"Tis harmless what we did! Just a mite of Lucid we added to free her inner blessings. She's destined for great things, she is. Please, we be meanin no harm to her. We love her like she's our own!" The woman begged Kibo to understand as she placed her hands on her husband. "She just be needing rest. She's been holdin it in fer so long... It be a bit too much at first is all!" The woman explained as she looked down at Sunny with gentleness.
