The police are doing what they can, but there isn't much else they can do unfortunately. sad My friend's step-dad is a cop, and when he told us the number of shootings he had had five hours of sleep in three days due to working on the different cases. sad

Indeed.
Today a random druggie came up to me at the railway station and asked me for my phone number because he wanted to "hook up with me". I said no thanks and got onto my train. Then when I got back home there was a massive bitchfight between some Islander women and African women...they police had to be called because they were so vicious. The guys that hang around there thought is was fun to watch though... stare

I'm glad you got away from the druggie, but that's a shame about the fight, and especially about the people thinking it was amusing.

Anyway...today (and yesterday evening) we've had the most wonderful storms. I was terrified of thunder and lightning as a kid, but now I just love it everytime there's a thunderstorm. ^^

Well my lungs almost failed and I almost had a heart attack from the pneumonia. That was definitely a new experience.

Yeah I'm doing a lot better now now. Still really weak, I hobble along with a cane right now, it helps keep me from clinging to someone for dear life. I have to go back to the cardiologist in a month to make sure there was no permanent damage to my heart, but otherwise I should recover fine. 3nodding
