"ahhh it doesnt matter. I thought you had one handy already. Ill be right back, just give me a moment." Shagatsu walked outside and walked in with a small piece of wood. he took out a knife and started to carve idily.

Yokome took another sip of her sake......and just watched everyone taking. She was at a loss of words.

Shagatsu carved a small rose out of the wood. No one seemed to be talking. Mabye all the alchohol had kicked in. Maiko shouldnt be drinking.... its not very lady-like... He laughed at the irony of it all.

Makoto's face turned for a moment, a sly look coming over her features, a small grin slowly creeping along the lines of her mouth.
"Shagatsu-san, tell me, are you good with weaponry? Using them at least."
Makoto herself wasn'rt sure where that came from but she did wish to know, perhaps it came from the back of her mind when the parton with the swords came in and their clatter when they were set down.

"I guess.... I can throw knives well and wield a sword or staff... I guess im average. Im just really fast, i guess." He said with a small laugh.
"I can make weapons too. I used to apprentice with a blacksmith in my free time. When I went traveling abroad, I found different weapons that i had never heard nor seen. I trained in a little of each. "

A girl in a redish/pink kimono steps into the teahouse, she is holding a red umbrella, soaked from the rain outside. After drying off her umbrella, she takes a seat silently in a corner of the teahouse. Her jade green eyes show exhaustion ans sadness. "May I have some green tea?" she asks the first waitress that passes her by.

Arikku smiled at what Shagatsu had said to Makoto. "Yes he is fast, but he is better with a sword than he thinks." she said and giggled. The drink was begining to get to her.
She smiled and finished off the liquor in her glass. Then filled it with water.

" Makoto nodded and smiled. "I see. My father was a blacksmith as well, from horse shoes, wepons, to armor, there was nothing he couldn't make." She took a long sip of tea. "He used to use me to test each and everyone one of his wepons, those were good times."

Makoto laughed.
"No, I ment he'd have me test them in the dojo, light weight but still duriable and his blades, sharp enough to slice a falling leaf in half with little effort. It was his job, and his love. Always trying to be better than last time. His armor strong enough to be hit with by an ox and barly have a dent and yet you could run and jump as fast as you wished."

Amaya sighs after receiveing her tea. She sips it slowly, watching her surrounding. So this is were the geisha and maiko work? I hope this place will befitting enough so that I may pay back for my sins... She orders some grilled eel and dumplings, and pays the waitress. As she waits for her food, she's deep in thought...and the surrounding world seems to fade out for a time.

Arikku smiled and said, "Same thing sort of with me. My grandpa was a blacksmith and they had me train with the weapons. They wanted me to be able to protect myself if anything were to happen. So I am about average at all weapon types."
She took another sip of the liquor and smiled. "What about you Makoto-san? You must have gotten pretty good with weapons."

Makoto smiled and laughed.
"Yes I did, if not by father I would have whenever Ryuujin took me with him to be his sparing partner....I never won but I always enjoyed the challenge, I almost had him once durring a martal arts spar but he clipped my feet and I fell."
She laughed haertally.
"It was quite exlierating."

Tora heard the new girl walk in and excused herself from the table. She genlty floated to her and sat across from her. "What's your name and where are you from little one?" she asked smiling. "My name is Tora and I'm a Geisha from the Kazenotanpopo Okiya," she added. "Sorry I can't stay and visit with you, but we are giving a party in the next room, so I must go." Tora bowed and stood, walking back to the door. She sat and opened the door, entered, then sat back down and closed it. She walked over to the table and apologized. "There was someone who came in and no one attended to her. I explained we were having a party." she smiled. "So, Sake anyone?"
